Today I went grocery shopping for a few items, and I noticed that there was only one cashier opened and 10 people in line so I waited patiently like everyone else however, the cashier was very rude and was rushing me that the machine was ready for me to pay when she wasn't even finished ringing me up and I was trying to bag my own groceries. She still was rushing me knowing I was bagging my items . I think it's ridiculous that there was only one cashier available and 10 people in line or even more after I left. And if the store is short staffed, the cashier doesn't have to be rude and rushing customers. read more

I haven't shopped here in years. It's honestly not the first place I would think of, given all the other alternatives available locally. I had been searching for ground lamb to make homemade gyros, and my primary grocery store was sold out. So, since I was in this shopping center, I decided to give Aldi a try. Well, they were also sold out of ground lamb lol. But, I was pleasantly surprised with the selection of other items available. And the prices are honestly pretty competitive! I'm not the biggest fan of bagging my own groceries, I guess I'm a little spoiled with the pickup options available at other stores! It's also interesting to pay a quarter for a shopping cart, which you get returned to you once you return your cart. I will say, the parking lot is spotless and there are NO loose carts blocking parking spots, etc. All in all, a pleasant experience and I may need to consider this grocery store more frequently! read more

Their customer service is horrible. I was standing in line to checkout. There were about three customers in front of me. I watched the checker while he interacted them. He put their items in the cart. When it was my turn, he scanned my items and left them on the counter. He gave me my receipt and cash and just left. As I was leaving out of the store there was a man who was on his way in. I asked him who the manager was. He said he was one of them. I made him aware of my experience and he made excuses for Jesus. Oh maybe there weren't any carts around. There were two. Then he started mentioning the counter and other reasons why Jesus did, what he did. I thought Chris was going to make things better. Nope. Aldi is cool for a small grocery store with low prices. I would not recommend if you are looking for a wide range of products or looking for a fast in and out trip. Every time I've come it's been one person at the register with the line almost back to the store. Went to this aldi location 5/6/26 yesterday afternoon. There was only 1 line open with a Mexican lady checker who had poor customer service skills. She doesn't say hi. She grabs the bag of potato's that I was buying and tosses it into the side of my cart & uses them to pull the cart close to her. Then she starts tossing everything after scanning into a pile on the side of the cart. I don't handle my groceries this way. I asked her to put my tortillas & bread on the top of the cart before getting to them. She says "that's what I was going to do" I don't think so.. she was rude & idk why people like this are still employed in customer service Don't want to go back to this location read more

This is the one place that you can stock up on Live G Free gluten free items for an affordable price. I don't carry cash and there are no hand baskets here so I was limited to what I could carry in my arms to purchase. I understand not being able to take a cart, but a hand basket? First I want to say that I just love Aldi, they have great prices and products. I was in there this morning and there was a girl unloading bread products. I love their Everything Sourdough Bread and I didn't see any on the shelves. I asked the girl if they had any Everything Sourdough and she said she would look. I told her that I would come back after shopping for other items. When I returned she said she didn't come across any yet. I thanked her and continued my shopping. After checking out with a very nice cashier, Isabel I heard someone say "I found the bread!" And she had 2 loaves of the Everything Sourdough Bread in her hands! I was so excited and grateful to her showing great customer service. I thanked her and asked her name. Thank you so much Maria for your great customer service. The store is always a disaster. The isles are a mess. The cashiers are always rushing customers and this place gives me anxiety.

When I was there the staff was restocking the frozen food. They had the containers for the empty boxes across the aisle from the frozen food section that was being restocked. The staff was throwing the boxes across the aisle into the containers for the empty boxes with no recognition for customers waking in the aisle. I almost got hit by a box and saw 2 other customers have very close calls. read more

I went to Aldi in Rancho Cucamonga off Foothill. The only thing I do not like about this store is the cashiers treat your food like garbage... they are not careful when scanning your groceries and placing them into the next cart with care. I don't care how long is your line but I expect my groceries to be handled with care. I have bought eggs and I always check them before I buy them to make sure they are not cracked. After the cashier handled them I got two cracked eggs at home. Save your self the dissatisfaction of wasting your time. Aldi's has a pay to use a cart model which is their prerogative. In the past, I have seen customers that did not have a quarter request a token for a cart or be given a cart in the store. Today I went into the store and did not have a quarter, two cashiers were working, and I asked for a token for a cart to shop. Neither acknowledged me so a customer said to the male cashier, she needs a token. The boy said oh I need to finish this order. Which I understood and waited, and the boy did not give me a token. He reached for another basket and started another order. The gentleman gave me a quarter to get a cart. I went back to the boy and asked for a token and he said didn't he give you a quarter? Yes, he did, however, I asked you for a token and I need to give him his quarter. The boy says oh I need to finish this order. At that point I decided I need a full-service grocery store not Aldi's. I asked for a manager and was directed to the website. I called the 800 number and was told the stores do not have direct numbers go to the website for comments. A German based market chain/grocery store/food market in Rancho Cucamonga. This ALDI store has a large variety of food with reasonable prices. Prices are comparatively lower than the most grocery stores. There are no fancy displays, just a few big rows of packaged food, non-food products, fruit and vegetable sections and cold and frozen departments. We came to this place a couple of times and we are satisfied with the quality of their products. The inside of this place is clean and their overall service is also good. Last but not least, bring a quarter if you plan to use a cart! You will get it back after you put the cart back. read more

We checked out our items at the Rancho Cucamonga/Terra Vista Aldi at 10:15 am today. There was one young checker on duty. She was half asleep, yawning and kept putting her face inside her sweatshirt to cover up her tiredness. She never said hello, goodbye, please, thank you, etc. When I struggled a bit with the card device she just stood there and offered no help and exchanged an annoyed glance at the customer behind us. The checker was very rude and negatively affected our experience at Aldi's. read more

Some prices are good, but the customer service really needs improvement--this isn't just at one location, but across all of them. The first thing the cashier says is "cash or card," without even a hello. Before I can finish paying, my cart is already being moved aside and they're starting on the next customer. A little patience would go a long way. Are the cashiers timed on speed? It would be nice if they could slow down and complete one order before rushing into the next. read more

I LOVE ALDI. I've compared the prices at so many grocery stores, and Aldi comes out on top for almost everything! (Winco/Sam's/Costco are winners for some things, but mostly for things you buy in bulk like nuts, oats, and flour). I love that the store is small, so you can get in and out pretty quick. There's not many choices, often just one name brand and then their own store brand of that items. The downsides to Aldi are the absence of staff available to help you find things, or the fact that usually only one register is open, but it's so worth it to have the cheap prices! I've also found the staff to be super efficient. If the line gets to long, another employee will come and quickly open up a new late to speed things up until the crowd is gone. read more

If I could negative stars to the cashier Irlanda and Maria I would. One Irlanda took another customer behind me regardless of the wait time I had to already endure which was extended. Number two the cashier Maria barks orders out to place a credit card card for payment prior to knowing the total I complied and paid for my items. Number three, he never asked for my items to be placed in a cart that I would only take three feet away just to get myself situated. Maria physically grabs the cart with items I paid for which are now my personal property and says "no". I have never been told "no" at a Aldi location with my personal property just to get situated. Then Maria proceeds to joke with the customers behind her about me who happened to be the same descent as her. I have never felt discrimination in this Aldi until now or been deprived of my personal property. Management of your reading this check your cameras as she physically grabbed my cart of groceries that I paid for and attempted to deprive me of my own item I look forward to a response from customer service and hopefully this corporation doesn't put responses in the black hole. read more

The worst customer service, I was in tonight a few minutes before closing and the manager and the cashier were sitting down having a whole personal conversation in front of their customers. They didn't have the decency to greed no anyone. On top of that, she gave the worst attitude, and the young male manager didn't do anything about it. read more

I LOVE ALDI! The prices are amazing. I've done a detailed price comparison with so many products at Aldi vs. Sam's Club vs. Winco. They each have their winners, but overall, Aldi is a great go-to if you're trying to get cheap shopping done all in one trip. Many of their products are cheaper than they would be in bulk at the warehouse stores. The main complaint with Aldi is that there's not many staff to help you find things or to open registers (which means the lines are often long), but for me, low prices are worth that. read more

It's one of my favorite supermarkets to shop these days. It's not that big and I pre much know where everything is. They prices are one of the best compared to any other local supermarkets around. The products they carry are great and some are European. You must try the chocolates they have for they are mostly European and delicious!! I but my bread, fruits, salads, cheeses, proscuitto, tamales, canned fruits and more. Checkout is a breeze but you need to per much bag everything you have which is OK for me. This store is always pretty quiet, but just like most Aldi's they only have one checkstand open. The neighborhood is nice, parking is ample and both the employees and patrons are always pleasant. Had a fantastic time at this store! Okay yes you have to pay a quarter... Once you know this you come prepared. Love the layout... it is in order according to how you need to shop. Bread, produce, misc, box items, can goods, deli, cold section and freezer. Check out is fast and easy! You grab the bags you need and they will be included with purchase.
