Their customer service is horrible. I was standing in line to checkout. There were about three customers in front of me. I watched the checker while he interacted them. He put their items in the cart. When it was my turn, he scanned my items and left them on the counter. He gave me my receipt and cash and just left. As I was leaving out of the store there was a man who was on his way in. I asked him who the manager was. He said he was one of them. I made him aware of my experience and he made excuses for Jesus. Oh maybe there weren't any carts around. There were two. Then he started mentioning the counter and other reasons why Jesus did, what he did. I thought Chris was going to make things better. Nope. He didn't.

Long checkout line extending down the aisle, only one open.

A chronic problem with this Aldi is the checkout line. Usually only one line is open, and the idea is to open more as the line gets longer. Unfortunately, lines of 8-10 people are common, but tonight was a new record. The line was at least 20 people long before someone wandered up and opened another line. Having a minimum of 2 lines open would mitigate the issue.

One of the locations I prefer to shop , has lots of parking spots available. Friendly cashier and merchandise were well stocked. Today I scored some broccoli on sale at 95cents a lb. And chicken drumsticks at 69 cents a lb .

This is the one place that you can stock up on Live G Free gluten free items for an affordable price. I don't carry cash and there are no hand baskets here so I was limited to what I could carry in my arms to purchase. I understand not being able to take a cart, but a hand basket? There was also only 1 cashier when I visited so the line was fairly long. Visited December 2023

A nice clean store with a good variety of fruits, meat, snacks and pretty much what you'd expect in a major department store.

Strawberries are great but service is not so great.... I called over a week ago to make reservations for u-pick strawberries and on the phone I was told that it is $5 entrance fee and can pay $15 for a bucket to take strawberries home. I asked if we can eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and she said yes and if we wanted to get the bucket after they might even deduct the entrance fee. She was very polite and nice. Today when I went in to pick, the girl helping me said we could not eat strawberries with the $5 entrance fee and only those who buy bucket can eat strawberries, and the $5 entrance fee is for those who go in just to supervise..... She showed me a little paper saying every employee gets the same instructions for pricing which only lists $5 for entrance and $15 for bucket. I asked her if there are more details written anywhere since it doesn't specify about eating, and the information being shared to me is so different but she said no, she was becoming angry and kept insisting if there is any misunderstanding that it is in my part for not understanding correctly.... I told her I wished I had gotten the name of the girl I spoke with before and asked what her name was, and she refused to give me her name she said she doesn't have to share her name..... owner cant know who is giving right or wrong information without a name... I just wanted to post this for the owner to see so they know there is different information being shared by the employees and it would be nice if there was more official information somewhere. Strawberries are great! And if it wasn't for today's service experience I would give them a great review! I'm giving low stars for owners attention and clarification.

Update: they reached out to me to fix the issue and I saw them improved immediately…read more I purchased a pack of short ribs at 99 Ranch today. When selecting it, the top layer looked reasonable -- the marbling appeared normal and the fat-to-meat ratio seemed acceptable, which is why I decided to buy it. However, after opening it at home, I found that the bottom pieces were almost entirely thick layers of fat. The difference in quality between the top and bottom layers was significant. I understand that short ribs naturally contain fat, and I wasn't expecting them to be lean. I was already prepared for them to be on the fattier side. But this went far beyond what would be considered normal -- the overall quality felt inconsistent and disappointing. Consumers rely on what they can see when selecting products. When the visible portion differs so drastically from what's underneath, it raises concerns about how the meat is being packaged. Additionally, compared to online platforms like Weee where customer service is easily accessible, there doesn't seem to be a clear or convenient feedback channel for in-store purchases. That makes the experience even more frustrating. I hope the store can improve quality control and packaging transparency to maintain customer trust.

I still come here once in a while for Asian ingredients, condiments, and random things I need for the house. I've been to plenty of Asian bakeries over the years, so I was pretty excited to grab a birthday cake from the bakery inside 99 Ranch Market. The cake looked great visually and the price was reasonable at around $32, which honestly made it feel like a solid find at first. Now don't get me wrong, I actually like Asian-style cakes because they're usually lighter, fluffier, and not overly sweet. That balance is what makes them so good. But this one just missed the mark completely. The cake lacked flavor overall, the frosting tasted flat, and even the sponge cake itself didn't have that soft fluffy texture that good Asian bakeries are known for. It looked way more appetizing than it actually tasted. Everyone took a few bites and kind of just stopped eating it. For me, this was probably the most underwhelming Asian bakery cake I've had in a while. I'll still come back to 99 Ranch Market for groceries and Asian ingredients, but I definitely won't be buying another cake from this bakery anytime soon.

Not sure how all the orgs/names are involved or related, but this is nested in the Terra Vista Town Center normally on Saturdays from 9am-2pm. Located in a drive through area between some retail /big box stores. This farmer's market is actually quite large. It was kind of surprising since I didn't expect all the stalls to fit this area (purely my perception). It covers all the basics that I've seen at other farmer's markets from the POV of a casual farmer's market patron. All the stalls I went to the folks were friendly. I ended up getting some coffee from Milo and Friends, some eggs from the egg farmer, some yogurts, and some pickles. Since it's nested in a large parking lot between the retail stores, there's a lot of parking, but this place can get packed on Saturdays. Glad to know this place is here and hope to come back and buy produce when I'm better at knowing what to do with it.
