Aldi has seriously become one of my favorite grocery stores since they opened up here in California. They have in-house brands at a lower price that are manufactured by bigger well known brands under their name. You get quality and still save a buck or two. 2.5 - 3 stars. It's the newest grocery store to my area that opened about 3 years ago. Not one of my top favorite grocery stores, but their prices are good, so I seem to go occasionally (about every few months). This is the store when I had that unpleasant experience with their organic ground turkey in 2018. There was some thick black hair intertwined in the clump of meat after I had cooked it was eating my tacos I had made from it. I reported it and they sent a gift card with the value of the meat. I mean I guess that's all they could do, but how disgusting! Otherwise, they don't really have any organic produce or organic items really in general, just a certain type, maybe two of the bagged lettuce/salad mixes. They have the cheapest bottle of organic olive oil of all the other grocery stores, but even then, it doesn't seem to be cold-pressed. At least they have a clever way for employees to not have to go out & collect all the shopping carts from the parking lot...you have to pay 25 cents when you get the cart, but you get it back when you return it. The employees also are seated when ringing up items. All grocery store employees should be able to do this. They're not that particularly friendly. They just ring up your items, nothing more, nothing less. read more

This is a great grocery store with great prices. I would not come here trying to get all of your grocery shopping done on this one stop. It is a smaller store with limited stock. This is not a knock on the store just a forewarning to those who are not familiar with the store. read more

Love shopping here. Quick and simple experience with low prices. You walk in they have like 5 aisles and a back section with meats and cheeses. To give a good example of price, got a pound of salmon for $10. Just don't forget your quarter to use a shopping cart (you get it back when you return the cart) and your bags (they don't provide bags. You can buy reusable bags though) read more

Aldi is a great place to shop! Their prices are affordable snd they have a variety of different brands at their store. Their checkout process is very simple and they even have a bagging area for everyone to bag their groceries. The staff is very nice and will give you a cart to take to the bagging area, but you need to give it back to them if you didn't originally enter the store with a cart. Anyway, I recommend this grocery store! Tip: Bring a quarter with you if you want to get a cart! After use, the cart will give you back your quarter if you link it to the rest of the carts at the front of the store. read more

I've been going to this store for a little while now. I like it better than Trader Joe's because the process are better. They have an interesting seasonal selection. I have never been to Aldis before, today was my first day. I won't be shopping at this location anymore due to how uncomfortable I felt after I was told by the cashier, McKenna that she needed me to remove my stuff off her counter. I paid with a check that my husband's company gave to all their employees and I asked her if she needed me to sign anything or fill in the check, she said no I just need you to remove your stuff off my counter. Didn't ask if I needed a bag or used any manners. It was so rude and I've never experienced anything like that at any I've ever been too. Again won't be going back to this location. read more

We used to love our Aldi up until today, went in to buy a patio set asked the young long haired kid for help he seemed bothered and actually rolled his eyes at me. I asked for his manager who apparently this red haired woman didn't really care and kinda smiled when I complained. We bought the set and they watched me struggle to carry it out. I'm glad this place opened in this area! Their egg prices are almost always the lowest in the area! Their prices are very decent as compared to other grocers in the area. What I do love most is that this place is always super clean and wide aisles that allow ease of movement. It could be that they are relatively new but nevertheless, it does enhance my shopping experience. Bring a quarter if you plan to use a cart! This isn't my favorite Aldi but I stop here whenever I'm out that way and want to get my grocery shopping out of the way. I don't like that it tends to not be as stocked as other Aldi stores. The fruit/veggies selection is mediocre. They also don't usually have many Aldi finds. read more

This is my usual go to spot because I do not like the crowds at my local grocery stores. Everything is priced low and affordable especially on eggs. Tamales are delicious. Large selection of wines. I give 3 stars because they only have one cashier working with a long line almost every time and produce seems to go bad after a couple days from purchase. read more

Changing my rating from 4 stars to five. I consistently eat a wider variety of fresh produce, quality meats and healthy snacks now that I shop at Aldi. Spent about 85 dollars here the other night for a quantity of food that would have likely run me at least 200 at a major chain. I get duck, lamb, steelhead and produce that is fresher than the grocery store. I don't have to make tough decisions about what kind of food to get and I consistently have my house stocked with a wider variety now which has helped me eat more home cooking. Great store, always clean and orderly. Prices are lower than most grocery stores which is what brings me back. Because a quarter is needed to use a cart(you get it back when you return the cart) the parking lot is always tidy. Which is a significantly better experience than most stores. Employees are helpful even though it's apparent that they have a steady stream of work. Aldi runs a tight ship and you can see it. I've never seen two employees chatting. Though a bit more of small talk with customers, a smile, and acknowledgement when walking through the store would take my review to 5 stars. Along fixing the Apple Pay. They have fresh produce for a good price and Shakari is the best worker there. I was at the checkout line and she was so friendly and bubbly. Only thing is that it seems kind of small and choices are kinda limited. But walked out of there only spending a little over 8 dollars not too bad at all. read more

ALDI is a market chain based in Germany that's been opening up more stores in the U.S. Most of us are familiar with its brother chain, Trader Joe's. Like Trader Joe's, ALDI is a smaller-sized market featuring store- or off-brand names. Unlike Trader Joe's, the wine and cheese selection is not extensive and you'll bag your groceries yourself. There are no fancy displays, just a few big rows of packaged food, non-food products, fruit and vegetable sections, and cold and frozen departments. My wife and I have been here twice and we were satisfied with the quality of our purchases, so we'll be back. I love the fact that you have to insert a quarter to get a shopping cart, since most people are lazy and leave the carts all over the parking lot. You could do that here, but then you lose a quarter (you get it back when you return your cart). It's a simple and effective solution to an annoying problem that I hope more markets adopt. read more

Be watchful of in store scams bait and switch. Many items are not price marked at the shelves. Or a price that doesn't match the item on the shelf. Found 3 of these bait and switches and the manager dismissed it to the item at the lower price being sold out. So you purchase the item next to it because they don't remove the sold out price and people pick up the more expensive item on the same shelf that isn't priced. Although the manager apologized, I will not return. A scam is a scam ! read more

I've become a big fan of Aldi. Every time I come here, parking is easy and I keep a quarter in my car just for the shopping carts. I'm usually able to get the veggies that I need and I like that they have weekly specials with really affordable produce, packaged foods, and even a small selection of household items. I think the quarter/cart idea is great, as I've had my car dented in a parking lot due to careless people and runaway carts. You get your quarter back if you return the cart, so no Aldi is not stealing your quarter sheesh. And I've never encountered a rude employee when I've come. They're all pretty nice and efficient and I have no issue with bagging my own groceries. Some of you need to stop being so lazy and complain about every little thing. It's not that big of a deal. The prices at Aldi let me save a little bit of money every time I need some groceries and I've never had any issues with the quality of the products. I leave an star coz of prices but the most irritating thing was the cashier in the front I put change for her to pay for I was buying And I am the customer she was standing not even counting the money, and give me an attitude about it. Most groceries places need change which I had a lot to get rid off but it is not good for a cashier to let a customer do that. Bring your big coin cause you need 25 cents to use a cart. Don't fret, you get it back when you return the basket. It's a cute system I guess. My first time visiting was yesterday. It's a smaller kind of market. They have a little bit of everything. I was able to pick up wine, fruit, meat and ice cream along with a few other things. It wasn't that crowded. It was a decent experience. I would go again to pick up some things. Of course you can buy bags or bring your own. There's a huge counter to the front side of the store. I guess it gives you the space to put all your stuff in your bags. That's pretty cool. I like the store. It's cool. But just to pick up a few things. And that's only cause it's a small grocery store. The tall white guy (manager?) is crazy rude. Went to ask a question and say hello and doesn't even bother to look at me or stop what he was doing and starts off with "What do you want." in a F off tone/vibe and I'm going to be zero help. I'd seen him evading people to not help anyone and he's the only person aside from the cashier working in the store. I'm trying to tone this down because it was rude af in a way where that sort of interaction when someone wants to get into a fist fight. This was my first visit to the store location this year and I'm not going back. They didn't even have the thing I wanted and my blood is boiling. Real waste of a trip. I wouldn't be surprised if someone punched him in the face. Try the Mountain location or don't even bother with the ALDI. The amount of time and gas you waste on trips NOT getting what you wanted is way more than the savings you get buying a lower quality knock off version at/made by ALDI. read more

I love this store. My usual grocery shopping that will cost me about $150/week at Ralphs now is down to $80. I always loved Aldi even back when I was in TX. I love the part of borrowing shopping cart for 25 cents. So no random carts in the parking lot taking up space. The one who are complaining about the 25 cents cart thing are probably the one who does not return their cart in the coral... so go stick to other places and let your car get scratched by unattended carts. You are not going to get everything here because they are trying not to stock on everything so they can save us consumer money. I love the cleanliness of this store.. Just left this market and I just had to try it out even after reading the negative reviews on the customer service. The store is extremely quiet, I did not see any employees on the floor. Only one register open so the line was a bit long. Mohamed is the name of the cashier who assisted me today. Absolutely rude, no communication whatsoever. It was my first time there, i did not know there was a designated "bagging area" I had my toddler in the shopping cart, after Mohamed scanned the last item, he pushed the cart with my toddler in the cart away from me and set it near the bagging area. It's not a far distance but my child was confused and a bit concerned that he was alone and away from me. I did not appreciate that at all. You do not move a child away from their parent. Prices are decent but I can't shop at a store where the employees lack respect. read more

This has fast become our very favorite grocery store. We have been delighted at the quality of the Aldi brand of foods. In our opinion, it is superior to most of the Name Brand items we used to purchase at Ralphs or Sprouts and cost at least 45% less. They have awesome sales on seasonal items as well. We bought an off-brand "easy up",, for 60.00 that is a generous size of 10 x 10 and it is really good quality. We save a ton of money at this store and appreciate the fact that they have Organic as well as Gluten Free products. read more

I went to Aldi's to go shopping and experience was awesome they're always pretty nice in there but I love Alfi's it's a really good place to shop and they have those little side counters that have those things that you're not normally wanting to buy but it's they have good prices so I will be going back and I'm super excited to know that there's going to be one pretty soon closer to where I live. so I won't haveing to drive all the way over here to Rancho to go read more
