Been coming to this CVS location for a while now since it's conveniently located Day Creek Blvd and Baseline Rd in the same shopping center as Stater Bro, Jersey Mike's and more businesses. The store is newer plus very organized and clean inside with plenty of parking outside. I always have a great experience when shopping here. The employees are very helpful especially when I have questions. I recently came here to purchase cough medication / drops and they helped me decide what to purchase. I signed up for their rewards programs which gives you great rewards and coupons. Definitely recommend this location. read more

This pharmacy is consistently terrible. The 16 people behind the counter would literally rather do anything else besides help the people in line. Watch paint dry. Look at their nails. Gossip in the back. The only thing they're good at is avoiding eye contact so they don't have to help you. read more

Sadly this is the only location conveniently close to me. Usually well stocked on over the counter pharmacy items but explain to me why the office supply aisle STILL has calendars and planners from 2023 and 2024 being sold at REGULAR PRICE? I asked an employee and a manager why they still have those on the shelf and I was met with a blank stare and an "oh huh weird" while they just put it back on the shelf! Not to mention the same day I shopped for over an hour for stuff only to be told the registers were down and had been down ALL DAY! Seriously?! Why not tell people as they come in or just close the store all together!!!!! I've never met an employee there that actually has a personality or a happy demeanor. I went to the urgent care and my medicine got sent to this location mind you i left the urgent care at 11:00 and they said it would take 30 minutes to get my medicine. It is now 5 hours later and i still have not gotten my medicine and the workers are not communicating with us it just keeps saying they are making it. Would absolutely not recommend. read more

Extremely rude and condescending front desk woman I had a terrible experience with the front desk woman--and I'm still fuming. She's Asian herself, yet treated other Asians (including me) like we didn't understand English. I watched how she spoke slow, robotic, condescending English to an older Asian lady before me, clearly assuming she couldn't understand. Then it was my turn. She told me my insurance didn't go through and asked if I wanted to pay out of pocket. I simply asked, "What's the amount if I pay out of pocket?"--a very normal question--and she said she didn't understand what I meant. Then she repeated her own words even slower, like I was a child or didn't speak English. I told her I had insurance, I just wanted to know the total cost if I didn't use it--but she never gave me a clear answer. The most disgusting part? There was an older white man standing nearby--not even checked in--and she immediately softened her tone with him: super sweet, respectful, soft-spoken, even offered him a seat like she was his personal assistant. How do you, as an Asian woman, look at other Asians with this level of disdain, while treating white men like royalty? It's internalized racism at its worst. read more

I feel extremely insulted and disappointed today. I had scheduled three vaccinations with CVS Pharmacy. When I arrived and checked in, an Asian girl called me up and, with an abnormally slow and condescending tone, started questioning me about my insurance. She claimed my insurance didn't go through and that I had to reschedule at another CVS with a MinuteClinic. I immediately understood what she was saying, but I simply wanted to know the out-of-pocket cost because I was determined to get this done today. Instead of answering me, she completely ignored my question and kept repeating that I needed to go to a MinuteClinic--like I couldn't understand English at all. This is unacceptable. I hold a master's degree and speak fluent English. There was absolutely no need for her to treat me with such arrogance and disrespect. What makes this even more disappointing is that she is Asian just like me, yet she chose to belittle me based on how I look. I left CVS today feeling humiliated, angry, and deeply disrespected. read more

I came here for photo prints and was in and out in under 10 minutes. The store was clean and well-organized, and the customer service was great. I also noticed a lotto machine, so I grabbed a ticket while I was there. Overall, a smooth and pleasant experience at the photo section. read more

***BEWARE*** This has to be the WORST pharmacy ever... Run the other way fast... They will not lift a finger to call you about your prescription, in my case the doctor up the quantity and insurance had to be called. The pharmacist said she didn't know why I was called WORST EVER read more

They do a good job with photos here and if you're taking passport photos, they do them for any country, they can print them to the right specs, but you'll have to cut them yourself if it isn't the stand USA size. The drive thru works efficiently. Inside the store it can get short staffed quick so I try to stick to the self check out. I've never seen a panhandler or transient hanging out in front of this store. read more

PHOTO AREA ONLY!!!!! DO NOT come to this location for photos! The one on Kenyon is WAY better! The machine is ALWAYS down. Came here on 5 different occasions throughout the year for photos to print out. EVERYTIME it's down or it's an issue. Once a older lady working had an attitude with me saying the machines were down and no signs were posted. Another time they needed to change the ink cartridge the manager seemed like he didn't want to go to the back to find it and change it I waited 45 mins. Another time I left my number because the machine was brand new they didn't know how to operate it they were still reading directions for it. Luckily that day they gave my photo to me for free. GET IT TOGETHER!!!! Shut it down completely if its always a problem and give customers less attitude. Post signs so people will know! Surprised this day it had a sign on it. read more

My doctor prescribed to me a medication that my insurance will not cover it . So I chose to buy my self since it was only $20.00. So I contacted this CVS and informed them of this situation. The head pharmacist informed me that she couldn't accept my good RX coupon so I would have to pay $350.00 the retail price. I asked for explanation since CVS advertised on that Good RX app that medication for that price. Her explanation is since it's a prescribed medication I can sell it at this price I can only sell it at the store retail price of $350.00. So I asked her if this is CVS policy!! She replied no it's this particular CVS policy the head pharmacist made that policy. So I contacted my doctor. My doctor was very surprised and told me I am going to transfer your prescription to RiteAid pharmacy please see what they tell you. If not I will change your prescription. I went the next day to Rite Aid Pharmacy they absolutely had no problem for me to pay the $20 and pick up my medication. Maybe someone out there can explain to me why CVS chose to do such things . Is what they did legal? Or is it just CVS policy because that Pharmacist at CVS offered very little ridiculous explanation. read more

TERRIBLE PHARMACY MANAGER I came in to refill a prescription of antidepressants that i was already 3 days without due to insurance switch at the beginning of the year. I tried explaining this to the pharmacy "manager" and mid talking she interrupted me for my name and birthday just to inform me there was no prescription. No duh, I'm in the middle of explaining there isn't a prescription since i haven't seen a dr under my new insurance and i just needed a transfer. She LIED and told me there was NO WAY to get my prescription today , had me write my name down and that she'd call Kaiser for a transfer of the prescription but she hasn't been able to reach Kaiser in 4 MONTHS! Mind you i had already called cvs Caremark DIRECTLY and was told it wouldn't be an issue. She sent me off and i went straight to Kaiser for a refill, walked out easy. Kaiser told me all she had to do was call the number on the bottle, (which i have done several times with an agent) and i could've walked out with my prescription. NEVERRRR going back. Two weeks ago, I am fixing our oven and I slice my finger. Was a pretty good cut that just wouldn't stop bleeding and we were out of band aids (My daughter seems to always want to use them, even on bruises) and Neosporin. So I head over to the convenient CVS located down the street from my house and figure I'll grab a bottle of wine while I am there. Being a fan of Bourbon, I see the Berringer Bros Bourbon Barrel Aged Cab and pick that up in addition to my first aid options. I look below and see the bottle is marked down from $19.99 to $6.99 or $6.29 if I buy 10. So I take it to the counter and sure enough - it rings up as $19.99. I mention to the lady behind the counter and she goes and takes a look. Comes back and says, "you're right, but that was a mistake. I can't sell it for $6.99. How about we split the difference and I give it to you for $10.99." I think that is one hell of a deal and I take it. Fast forward two weeks to today. My daughter is sent home from school for coughing. We got her a covid test and took her to the to doctor and good news - we can bring her back to school as soon as the symptoms go away. I am told to pick up some over-the-counter cough medicine and we are relieved, being she would have had to miss 10 days of school had we not gotten this test/symptoms continued. So, I head to - you guessed it - that convenient CVS once again to grab her medicine and I remember that delicious Berringer Bros Bourbon Barrel Aged Cab and decide to pick it up and....well....once again that $6.99 tag is still there. Two weeks later. Despite me bringing it up. So I grab a bottle (or two), and once again, the bottle rings up as $19.99. And rinse and repeat. They confirm that the tag is there and I am not lying and they say to me, "this was posted in error." But then proceeds to LIE, and say "I talked to my manager and it's illegal in the state of California to discount alcohol." Which I know is a lie and not factual, especially since if I bought 10 of the bottles I could get them for $6.29 each, which. Is. A. Discount. Anyway, I pay and I leave....and you know what, that tag is still there! So not only do they make the mistake two weeks ago, have it pointed out to them, not honor it, then compromise...then keep it up for two more weeks and then not honor it at all again, then lie to their customer about "California law" and still, not remove the damn label. To be honest, this CVS is probably one of the better locations in Rancho. It's clean, and very convenient to get to. I stopped in to pick up a few gift boxes, and the team member that helped me was very nice. She even showed me alternative options if the plain white boxes did not suit my needs. I was kind of surprised at how bare the Christmas decorations and other holiday item shelves were, as CVS usually has a plethora of stuff. read more

I LOVE this CVS!!! Everyone is super friendly & welcoming. they apologize if there is ever a wait, which is rare to have a wait at this CVS!! but they are super super nice!! When my husband and I went for our flu shots, they were painless. we did wait for that about 7 minutes but it was quick and easy. they send out text message reminders so that's always very helpful as well. :) read more

Manager Juan is an A*hole. My wife was doing self checkout using her coupons. The manager walked up to my wife and harassed her telling her she's not allowed to use my cvs account since she already used her account. She was just using my account for the 30% off to purchase a toy for my son. He's done this 2x. The first was he embarrassed her for holding up the line because she was using her coupons and he told everyone waiting in line out loud for all to hear on why the line backed up. I filed a formal complaint with CVS on this and I will make sure that he's fired over this. The pervious manager was great and helpful, even helped my wife get the best savings using coupons. This new manager Juan needs to be removed. Will no longer shop here. Update 8/7/21 - manager contacted me. Emphasized that 1 carepass per household. My wife and I had our carepasses before we met. By the way you should start with Sorry. I don't know how he became a manager but I hope CVS removes him from the store. read more

I have not had one good experience with this pharmacy. Their pharmacists and staffs doesn't follow instructions. On multiple occasions, I have to wait 25 mins for them to fix their mistake. It takes 25 mins to count 30 pills? Another time, they decided to fill my existing medication instead of a new order my doctor placed and told me that they are the same. Yes, they treat the same symptoms, but there's a reason why my doctor switch brands. That's for my doctor and I to decide. That is not your choice! read more

I hate to write this review to a CVS location in my own city but have to share it. I usually pickup my Amazon packages from this location. I just show the email/tracking ID/DL to pickup packages for my husband. I'm seeing this lady for the first time at the counter and she tells me that she'll not give the package to anyone other than the package name holder. I said I've always picked up for my husband and she says that the rules have now changed due to a scam and they've advised not to give packages to anyone other than package name holder. Later she asked for my license and tracking ID and handed over the package and said that she's "adding a note that no one else can get the package other than my husband". I quietly came home ands logged into Amazon I just to see that she lied about everything. There's no such recent rule. Screenshot is attached. I came all the way from San Dimas because I found they had a product here that isn't sold very many other places: the "bug bite thing" and the manager was very friendly and put one aside for me so I wouldn't drive all the way out for no reason. Worst service ever! The counter guy asked me to go to self check out because his line was getting longer. Mind you, I was next in line! I went to the self checkout and the system broke. I waited for nearly 15 mins asking for help and no one helped! Finally the manager who just started her shift came and restarted the machine. I have been in 3 separate times and the pharmacy is closed. Just left there on a Saturday at 1:45PM and closed. Store clerk said that on weekends they take their lunch together. Worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Everytime I come in or use the drive up window it takes forever. It doesn't matter if there is only 1 person in front of you, it takes forever. Also, they have never been able to get the timing right on my prescriptions. It is always a battle having it ready when I need it. They have never been able to sync up my medications so I have to come in 3 different times for the 3 different meds. Changing to somewhere with better customer service. read more
