5/30/24 Unfortunately , I too have to agree with the others . Go to a different store. Ive been coming to this specific location for 3+ years. Last week we came to get ice cream around 9:50 (our usual time, i work late ) the man tells us they closed the ice cream at 9:45. I get off of work today and im inside at 9:45 and the woman tells me they closed the ice cream station at 9. I proceeded to inform her of what i was told last week and asked if there was going to be a different time they close the ice cream everyday from now on. After a year of problems with Rite-Aid, they finally did the ultimate digression. On December 29th I went to the Rite-Aid Pharmacy on 19th in Rancho Cucamonga. I take an opiate for my arthurites. That day when I arrived an Asian woman Jane H. sold me 60 Fake Oxycontin pills a placebo. When I challenged them, they acted as if I was problem, not them. Rite-Aid is in receivership from filing Bankruptcy chapter 11. Hopefully they'll all be closed and people won't have to get burned like I did. Great pharmacy! Everybody in store is helpful but today one guy was outstanding! My dog threw-up (ugh, gross), so I got someones attention. I had asked for cleaning supplies but Jose said he would take care of it. This is my local rite aid. I enjoy getting Ice cream scoops here. But today I purchased an umbrella shade. Hilda a store personnel went above and beyond for me. Because I was just there a few days ago looking at this umbrella and it was on sale. I came back and the sale sign was gone. I have no idea why every time I go to this Pharmacy I get horrible service when Michael the pharmacist isn't there . Michael is a great pharmacist and his service is great. But when the other pharmacist is there I don't know her name but she is an Asian lady I get horrible service . Of course I have nothing but my full respect to all nationalities. I am an immigrant my self . I walked in to get a booster I asked the guy if I can get one now he said yes immediately and he started to process paperwork wise , then he looked at the pharmacist and she shook her head then the guy changed his story and told me he does not take walk in after five o'clock. It' was really very suspicious how he suddenly changed his story. I went next door to Ralph's and I received the booster immediately. It's always that guy and that pharmacist I don't know what's their issue. My advice to both of them is if you don't like what you are doing do everyone a favour and find a different job to do . It's very sad . I will contact the BBB and inform them of this illegal business practice. You can't pick and choose which customers you like and which customers you don't like . Ran into the store to grab a quick item. The store was just opening. I ran and grabbed the item, glue. Got to the checkout stand where the employees were there in a deep conversation. Sorry to interrupt ladies, the one employee then walked over to ring up my order. I get home, open the glue to use it and was dryed solid. Oh man....are you kidding me!? He is rude and arrogant to have hung up on my son's doctor when he tried to call in a prescription. He needs some major training and to learn how to show respect for others. This Rite Aid is either really new or recently renovated. The interior is clean, slick, modern, and they take mobile payments such as Android Pay (formerly Google Wallet) and Apple Pay. As this is California, when I went up to the pharmacy to get some medications, the PIN pad terminal asked on the on screen display if I wanted free consultation for the prescription I was seeking (prednisone steroid). Both the pharmacy manager and the pharmacy tech were incredibly helpful! Service is definitely a 5/5. Product offerings, it's what you expect of a drug store, and this store is huge! Especially in a place like California where land isn't cheap, this Rite Aid being large in retail space is a huge added plus. read more

I've been to this Rite Aid location quite a few times and it seems each time, there is a line when I need to pay for my items. I don't think I've ever seen more than one cashier at the checkstand. If I'm not in a hurry, the wait doesn't bother me. These guys were so unbelievably rude! Their customer service was non existent. The store was slow and there weren't any customers waiting for ice cream when we showed up so they had no excuse to act the way they did toward us! Ex. 1: we asked for chocolate chip ice cream. He said they didn't have any. When I was trying to find another flavor I noticed there was a brand new, unopened chocolate chip container right there. (We let that one slide no problem) Ex. 2: another guy shows up to help out but only fueled the fire because he was just there to collect our money. (Here comes the no customer service part) I asked him for a sample of another flavor..you know, since they didn't have chocolate chip...he looked at me and turned away. All he said to my mom was "how many single scoops are there" so she then turns to me to ask if I was getting double or single and I said I don't know, I wanted to try a sample first. The guy then turns to me and says "so you don't know if you're getting a single or double scoop until you get a sample??" Ex. 3: my 2 year old nephew drops his ice cream on the floor. (I work with frozen yogurt so i've had my fair share of kids dropping their yogurt and we always replace their cup with no hesitation.) This guy had such an attitude when I asked if my nephew could have another scoop. Ex. 4: their spoon cup was dirty with chocolate ice cream so we all figured it was trash(my mom even threw her sample spoon in there because she saw it was dirty) my sister in law asks for a spoon and the guy reaches over, grabs the cup and slams it in front of her. She looks in and sees it was dirty and my mom apologized and told the guy she threw her spoon in there and the guy says "no we don't keep dirty spoons on the counter!" Grabs the cup and throws the spoons in the trash and then refills the dirty cup with new spoons and puts it back on the counter in front of us. read more

I frequent a lot of rite aids; they have the best beer prices and I love the thriftys ice cream. But this one in particular has the friendliest staff. They always recognize me and greet me with a warm welcome. It's not just one person; every worker in there says hi, how have you been, where have you been. Lol. They make good conversation and just are overall very, nice people! I've had the pleasure of getting to know the staff there and after reading some of the other reviews I just can't agree. However, the real reason for the 1 star is that for a health place, all the stuff by the counter is unhealthy - ice cream, cigarettes, alcohol, candy, etc. No wonder the stock fell so low while CVS is doing well (hint - they've adapted to the 21st century's concept of going towards health). This is by far the worst rite aid location EVER!!!B after they remodeled they are so rude !!!! I took my son to get ice cream and waited 10min literally just waiting as they continued to help people on the registers. Took the PT awhile to tend to my prescription drop off then as I was explaining the last prescription, she wasn't very open hearted about answering my question. Pharmacy service from one lady in particular was awful and so rude, if you don't like your job then you should work in another industry that isn't customer service related. I Used the drive through as my 9 month old sick son was asleep in the car, and I was trying to fill a prescription for him. She proceeded to ask me why they do this, had no clue what she was referring to, then rolled her eyes and went off to put something into the computer. She said ok give me 15-20, ok , will do ,thank you- BUT I had one more question When I asked if they carried a certain kind of Tylenol not sure if I could buy it from the drive through she proceeded to roll her eyes at me again and tell me she didn't know if they carried it- well, you do work there maybe you can check? I'm not going to wake up a sleeping sick baby to go check on something that you should know weather you carry or not, or at least could have enough common courtesy to offer to check- that is the department you work in! So I asked if she could check, she said YUP, then just stood there....ok, are you checking now? Or when I come back ? Or never ...!? Ya I'll check when your back, makes no sense ! I'd definitely recommend going else where for your pharmacy needs- not a friendly lady working here and no need to deal with people like that when your dealing with sick kids! read more

I had to write a review due to the experience my grandma had yesterday, She had went in to fill my prescription and was not helped by a man in the pharmacy who she did not get the name of but he was heavy set light skinned with glasses and strawberry blonde hair she handed him the prescription and he stated that their was no such antibiotic dosage as my surgeon had prescribed me and she should take it back to where she got it and have them correct it " mind you it's pouring rain and flooding she's 74 with lots of health conditions and has a hard time herself getting around easily the hospital is Arrowhead located in Colton" the only reason we went there was due to it being so close by anyways she then proceeds to tell him that it's very far and it's pouring outside so he replies" it's pouring everywhere" in a sarcastic voice so my point is he sent her on her way never tried helping was being rude and sarcastic to a elderly woman he didn't offer to call the doctor have it fixed nothing the service was unacceptable and I had called to speak with the manager but apparently they had no manager on duty :( just a heads up for anyone planning on filling your prescriptions here I will be sticking with CVS read more
