Came in with an unopened Apple Watch and the original receipt. We understood it was outside the return window and weren't demanding special treatment. The problem wasn't the return denial. The problem was the customer service. The packaging was damaged while being handled by Target staff, manager Ian was dismissive and disrespectful, and security was standing nearby during what should have been a simple customer service conversation. My wife left feeling embarrassed and humiliated for doing nothing more than asking a question. It's amazing how a company can spend millions on branding and still make a paying customer feel like a criminal for trying to return an item. Went to shop with my daughter on Wednesday 7/29 at 4pm,The lady that work in the fitting rooms name SANDRA was rude,I just coming out from fitting rooms,I'm still thinking which clothes that I want and which one that I don't need,she yelled "Ma'am" so loudly and then asked me to put unwanted clothes on the rack.She couldn't ask me nicely instead she screamed so loud make me embarrassed in front out other peoples.Even my daughter standing outside the fitting room can hear her loud voice! Self checkout showed registers open. I walked all the way down to them from the opposite side of the store. 3 weren't working and the 4th displayed someone needed to log in for it to work. Nobody standing there so I hunted someone down. She casually said "Oh ya, they're closed. You have to go to the others at the opposite end." So over corporations making customers have to work hard for them. They also have a Starbucks and a grocery section inside, making it a one-stop shop for almost everything I need. The store is generally clean, and the employees are helpful for the most part. There's plenty of parking since it's in a strip mall with lots of other businesses like AAA, Panera Bread, Chili's, and Wells Fargo, to name a few. I also love that they offer specific coupons when you buy multiple items, and you can save 5% on your purchases when you use your Target Red card. Returning items is always a breeze--no hassle, and the lines are never long. Plus, they offer self-checkout for added convenience. I've shopped at this Target because of great frontline employees like Kristine, who apologized and provided excellent service, and Joy, who had previously been kind and helpful. Experiences like those are the reason I felt comfortable shopping here and believed this store was part of my community. That trust was broken during a recent visit. While checking out, two other customers were arguing loudly in front of a child. I said one sentence to de-escalate and encourage them to separate. I was not involved in the dispute, did not raise my voice, and did not continue engaging. Other customers even stated that I was not part of the argument. Despite that, I was singled out and treated as the problem without anyone taking the time to ask what actually happened. When I raised my concerns, the store manager, Cody, was dismissive and condescending. He repeatedly told me to calm down and lower my voice even though I was not yelling. After I disclosed that I am part of the ADA community and explained that his manner of speaking was making me uncomfortable, he continued escalating instead of listening. I was publicly chastised, embarrassed, and ultimately told to leave while security stood by and did nothing. What hurt most is that I raised sincere concerns and the person in charge did not even take my name. He made it very clear that he had no interest in hearing what was important to me or understanding what I had experienced. There was no effort to help, no effort to de-escalate, and no effort to treat me with dignity. I left deeply distressed and did not feel safe returning to the store, even to address damaged items from my purchase. This was not a frontline employee issue. It was a failure of leadership. I want to feel safe and respected in my own community, and this experience made it clear that, in that moment, I was not. Very disappointing and heartbreaking experience. read more

If you like to squishy hunt they do not like you. For 2 months I have been showing up and waiting in line in the the mornings like many other parents to find nee doh or squishies my kids are trying to collect (my daughter has autism and fidgets are her favorite). So imagine my and I'm sure many other parents annoyance when they decided to randomly start holding product that people get up early and wait outside for since it's so hard to find making them even harder to find. Yesterday I had seen something pop up on the app I had gone in once and the first time was told. It was still waiting to be set. Then I went in several hours later because it was still available and asked again this time being told the hundred percent have it in the back and it would be set on Monday or Sunday (it was Saturday) so I went on my way to check again tomorrow. Wake up the next morning before they even open and there's no doubt which means they put them out at some point on Saturday even though I had checked at opening and then again around 3. Only was told by the employee that it was there in one isn't allowed to buy it, but then apparently everyone was later even though myself in a group of people had waited outside all morning just to be turned away. I usually go to this Target in Rancho Cucamonga early in the morning around 9 AM it's peaceful, clean, and calm. But today, I made the mistake of going in the afternoon... not the move. The place looked like a war zone stuff everywhere, aisles messy, and the bathroom was filthy. It felt like the Hunger Games but with shopping carts. We just came to grab a toy for my son (he was happy, so that's a win), but honestly, it wasn't worth the chaos. The lines were long, the crowd was wild, and the cashier area was totally disorganized. The lady managing the lines had no sense of control just vibes. Next time, I'm sticking to my early morning Target runs. Afternoon shopping here is not for the weak. It always takes forever for them to get your items for you when you order online even when they tell you it's ready for pickup. It would literally be so much faster for you to just go in and find your own stuff. Then they want to put one item per bag so they can charge you the bag fees too. Also be careful of the shameless beggars that like to prowl the parking lot. They're so generous with YOUR money and want you to buy them upwards of $100 in groceries and supplies. This target store ripped me off when I was not expecting it. My mother who is in skilled nursing waiting to be released for hospice asked me to get her a trac phone so she could talk to her friends and family. So I go to my target store to purchase. I have never owned or bought a phone that you pay by the minute. So I buy the phone and the clerk tells me I need a min card to activate the phone so I added it in. They told me there trac phone reps won't be back in untill the following morning at 10 and they would be happy to activate the phone for me. So I return the following morning at 10am and the reps are not there yet so I wait 40 min and still nothing. So while I was waiting I was reading about the new phone only to see that it comes with 1500 min of service. So I tell the clerk who sold me everything that I want to return the card as I don't need it. He says that might be a problem but sends me up to the return desk. They won't return because they are non returnable. I have spent 4 + hours on the phone with both target and track phone and even though they ack.nowledge it's there error they won't fix it. I will never shop at any target again and will share my experience with everybody who will listen. Looking for a network consumer fraud fight back type station I can talk to. read more

As far as finding the products I need, I am satisfied with this store. It's fairly large, clean and employees were stocking the shelves, which is good. There is also plenty of parking available and the restroom was clean. My main complaint is with the checkout. There are 16 registers available and more often than not, when I come here and the lines are long like today, only 2 are open? Is there really not a single person who could be temporarily pulled off of whatever else they are doing, to help out in the front? read more

Went to pick up my prescription. I asked the lady why on the app it was asking me if I was going to take my previous different medication with this when I went up. I asked the lady why and she told me that she didn't know and was very rude. When I asked for the pharmacist she was rude also so I transferred my prescriptions to a different CVS when I got there I asked them about what the app was saying and right away. They knew why and told me that if I took them together that my stomach would start bleeding. I will never go to this pharmacy in target again. I hope that they get people that are knowledgeable. I generally like this target, but never in my life have I experienced a more rancid bathroom. On several occasions I have gone in to the women's bathroom and 3 or more stalls are unusable due to how dirty they are. The floors look like a 15 year old used a Swiffer sweeper on it and called it a day. And to make matters worse I can't even use soap to wash my hands because the dispensers are always empty. So yeah, decent target but may you never need to use the bathroom here. read more

The self check out line is positioned so weirdly that people farther in the line could easily cut in and they only have 1 worker watching the registers, mind you the worker may be helping someone else and won't see the issue at hand. They frequently miss things on the drive up orders then when they forget things, the app will force you to call an 800 number that connects you with outsourced phone customer service where the mistakes only continue and your quick drive up order turns into a bunch of wasted time in your life and at the end of it, you're still paying for things you didn't even buy.
