The women who work there are incredibly kind. With the cozy 60/70's music playing, I enjoyed walking around each room shopping. There are a few things we've found here that have stood out... First - The employees are just wonderful. From Devi herself to everyone who works for her. I *really* appreciate that, even for an obvious "chick store", they don't make the Husbands/boyfriends/misc. men feel unwelcome. They girls here are always willing to chat the guys up and engage them in helping select ensembles for their significant others. Aaaaand... if the guy just wants to relax.. there's the "husband couch" which has been mentioned before. And I'll tell you from experience.. Its comfy!!! Second - The prices. Now I will grant you; you are not going to find the same kinds of low prices here that you would at, say, Ross Dress For Less. However, the items here are of a much higher quality. That being said - the prices here vary. Customers with just about any and every budget can find all kinds of fun things here. From simple to fancy to ooooh la la - when it comes to clothes and fashion accessories here. They also have sidewalk sales which my wife can attest to is a source of some fantastic finds. Third - And we just recently discovered this... they have LAYAWAY! YEA BABY! So even their pricier stuff can still be within reach of more modest budgets! *Does the Snoopy Dance of Joy* So really... guys? You want to make your ladies happy? Christy is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, and it's obvious she's passionate about sharing her craft. I learned so much while having an absolute blast. It was the perfect girls' outing, and I left feeling confident and excited to begin making soap on my own. Today I returned for the Foot Scrub class, and it was just as enjoyable. It was such a pleasure seeing Christy and her wonderful staff again. Everyone is genuinely friendly, welcoming, and happy to answer questions--not only during the classes but about all of the products they carry. The store itself is charming and full of unique handmade items, and they even have a beautiful selection of plants. It's honestly hard to walk out without buying at least one! They accept both cash and credit/debit cards, which is convenient, and parking couldn't be easier. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the store with easy nose-in spaces, making it very accessible. Looks super cute with blue jeans for the spring. We recently lost a really cool store in downtown Redlands called, Mozarts, who had high-end unique gifts. The store closed down when the owner passed away. I would have to say that now KISSUI and KISSUI KITH are now among my favorite boutique stores in the downtown Redlands area.
