I found a beautiful pair of boots in their mobile shop so we decided to see all the offerings and drove over to their actual location. They had a great selection of cowboy hats from the fashionable scrunchy kind to the actual Stetsons and Resistol's. The jeans selection for women was outstanding. And their boots were amazing, it is clear that they take pride on only selling quality products. And, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the outstanding and impeccable customer service. In the mobile shop the two boys that helped us at the rodeo this weekend we're fun, personable, and a hoot! When we went over to the actual shop location the girls stayed open late for us since we came after the rodeo and allowed us to stay and shop as long as we needed. As I was getting out of my…read morecar, I found myself intrigued and fascinated with a shop that was on the other end of Deaux on the same block. On the outside window, it had what I thought at first was "I Love IE". Love was represented with a heart instead of the word. There was a cute heart-like logo that came with it. I decided to walk in to find out what this shop is all about and to satisfy my curiosity. I asked the nice young lady behind the counter, "What is the name of this shop?" She said it is "1 Love IE" where IE stands for Inland Empire. I asked about the story behind this shop. I love to hear about entrepreneurs or local business owners and their humble beginnings. The lady was kind to share a little about it. She was super friendly and helpful in every way. Thank you so much miss! This shop is very clean and organized. I was fascinated by the full wall of baseball-like hats with many different colors and designs on them. I didn't get a chance to take a closer look at the hats as I was in a rush to get the donuts and then have lunch with my dear Yelpie friends who have become extended family members (you know who you are). I'll have to return and check the hats out in more detail. Anyway, I ended up buying two cute women's T-shirts. Quality is good. Prices are reasonable for its unique brand. I'll definitely return to buy more as I love T-shirts. Like what J Hud (owner and creator of 1 Love IE) says, "Put your money where your love is". I second that! Love your story J Hud! Keep sharing your love for IE and promoting 1 love with the world. Thank you for seeing your customers as family members. I concur... let's make peace, give love, and have fun together always! LET'S GO...

I found myself looking for an outfit for a Country concert last month and this shop came up as nearby when searching online because it's not far from my work. So I've stopped by several times since then lol! There is quite a nice selection of western style boots, hats, clothing, jewelry and a lot of turquoise which I love! I've bought a full skirt outfit, a shirt, a romper and a necklace so far in the past month or so. Prices can be a little steep, but it's a boutique afterall. l think it's so awesome that they have a sidewalk rack sale too because there are some cool pieces at a discounted price. I was very impressed that some of the pieces of clothing in the store has their own name tag. I just love that they make their own clothing and I rather support smaller businesses! I also met Linda, she has been very sweet and helpful. I can't wait to go back to the shop!

This store truly snuck up on me…read more I was unprepared for how comprehensive and cool the selection of clothing is at West of Texas. First of all.. the name of the shop is downright cool. Second... the graphics & location of the shop is cool. Thirdly... the Owner is cool. A major plus ! Browsed and didn't WANT to buy anything. The variety, quality & price-point of everything in the store makes it a GO TO Resource for everything western, Los Angeles and mountain/rural living ( stylishly ). And .:.. the HATS !! ! Wow ! If you think it's just western style only think again. This is a business that understands fashion and understands what is IN ... and what is OUT. The HATS are luxury, beautiful and on trend. They will work with all those beautiful flowey patterned dresses that are the style right now. I walked away with a gorgeous western style but fitted shirt... that's SO difficult to do. I will be back ! Mens sexy western styles are quite well represented as well.

My genetically handicapped adult son took my 87 year old mother (his grandmother) to get her hair done next door. He was innocently waiting in the handicap parking spot (my mother has a handicapped placard) for her to finish her appt. Someone from this store (with a key to the door) accused my son of wanting to rob someone and acting suspicious or sketchy. He was sitting in his car and occasionally would get out to smoke a cigarette. When my mother came out of the salon next door, with her WALKER, this person didn't show any remorse for her poor judgment and accusations. What's really sad is that my mother has actually bought things from this store and yet this is how she treats people. Stay away from people like that!!!

So went back to 1891 store again to finish my transaction. This time question by Oscar Lead Supervisor, was questioning me and tells me to go back to Guest Service AGAIN!
