West of Texas is such a cute little gem of a store! I've passed by this store so many times and was always curious, but never stopped by. I found myself looking for an outfit for a Country concert last month and this shop came up as nearby when searching online because it's not far from my work. So I've stopped by several times since then lol! There is quite a nice selection of western style boots, hats, clothing, jewelry and a lot of turquoise which I love! I've bought a full skirt outfit, a shirt, a romper and a necklace so far in the past month or so. Prices can be a little steep, but it's a boutique afterall. l think it's so awesome that they have a sidewalk rack sale too because there are some cool pieces at a discounted price. I was very impressed that some of the pieces of clothing in the store has their own name tag. I just love that they make their own clothing and I rather support smaller businesses! I also met Linda, she has been very sweet and helpful. I can't wait to go back to the shop! read more

This store truly snuck up on me. I was unprepared for how comprehensive and cool the selection of clothing is at West of Texas. First of all.. the name of the shop is downright cool. Second... the graphics & location of the shop is cool. Thirdly... the Owner is cool. A major plus ! Browsed and didn't WANT to buy anything. The variety, quality & price-point of everything in the store makes it a GO TO Resource for everything western, Los Angeles and mountain/rural living ( stylishly ). And .:.. the HATS !! ! Wow ! If you think it's just western style only think again. This is a business that understands fashion and understands what is IN ... and what is OUT. The HATS are luxury, beautiful and on trend. They will work with all those beautiful flowey patterned dresses that are the style right now. I walked away with a gorgeous western style but fitted shirt... that's SO difficult to do. Ordered them on line at 11:00 p.m. and picked up next day at noon. When ordering it asked if it was a gift and I checked "yes". I called next day to see if my purchase was ready and young lady on phone was so helpful and pleasant, saying "I look forward to seeing you soon ". What a welcoming conversation. I LOVE this beautiful boutique. I have so much fun every time I visit - the clothes are not only beautiful and high quality, but the staff puts everything together in the store SO amazingly. And speaking of the staff, I have never received such attentive service. I absolutely love this little store. It has the cutest country wear and accessories. I bought boots there for my wedding and changed my mind! Today we went back to exchange them and found so many cute things! Hats, buckles, men's shirts, riding gear, everything you may need to look country fabulous! The best part is their staff. I purchased a Cowboy hat that had a factory defect. I sent the hat back to the manufacture, and received a replacement. Which did not fit. The staff of, West of Texas, went out of their way to continue to contact the manufacture for me. Finally the second replacement was sent to West of Texas . They continued to help my issue until I was happy. Their Customer Service is beyond expectations. read more

This store is so so cute. I was in the area gathering some paperwork for school with my mom and she wanted to come here. I looked up the address and we easily found the store. Parking is a little odd if you don't know the area. We didn't know the area so we parked in a lot behind the store. Walking into the store you see a sign that says come on in. It's so cute and inviting. The employee who greeted us was nice and helpful. We came to in to just look and ended up spending over $300. The problem was that I could have easily spent way more. They have the most adorable toddler clothes. They even have boots that would fit my 1 year old nephew. The have home decorating stuff and clothes for adults. My mom found an amazing hat. Came out to Redlands from North Orange county for some western wear for our Nice's wedding in San Antonio. Didn't know they also had men's cloths and accessories. Found what we were looking for. Linda the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. I actual found a long sleeve shirt with 36 inch long sleeves! Went in today to exchange some boots I received for Christmas. I can't believe I didn't know about this little gem. Sooo many things to check out. Not only did I exchange the boots I got another pair, 2 tops and some jewelry I couldn't resist. They have great vintage Indian jewelry. We spent almost $800 and could have kept going if there was an unlimited budget. I saw the other reviews about the help and am really surprised. The gal (sorry can't remember her name!) who helped me was so accomodating and helpful. It didn't take her long to know my style and she had so many great recommendations. Such a shame... my husband and I went to West of Texas and I'm sad we did. I would have rather never gone in and just loved the store from a far like before. We went in the store planning to get myself a whole new outfit from head to toe but we left empty handed. Upon our arrival there were multiple sales people or maybe they were non shopping shoppers that just liked being in the store but it seamed as though they all worked there. Not one of those many people ever looked up at us let alone to say "hello". Two stars for cute inventory. I stopped in West of Texas for the first time a few years ago and have loved revisiting every time I find myself in Redlands. Whether you're into turquoise or real riding gear, it's here. There are lovely western garments from classic embroidered shirts to gorgeous gauzy dresses, to what you will really need if you go out riding. They also have some lovely housewares, fabulous accessories, including some stellar purses, but my favorite is their selection of jewelry. If you love turquoise, then go here! They have a huge selection, and it's all wonderful. Prices are typical for the market. The women who work here are just a hoot, and very friendly. They have moved to Citrus Street across from the Redlands YMCA,. I had a western theme party to go and at first blush I saw a lot of glamour cowgirl wear, but after the lovely owner helped me I realized this store had anything and everything I could possibly want. Truly authentic western wear that was high quality. You can buy consignment or new clothing. They have boots, belts, décor and as they would say "A whole lot more". What I enjoyed most about shopping at West of Texas was the truly attentive help. I'm not a cowgirl, but after going to West of Texas I just might become one! Prices are reasonable. It's worth stopping in and if you have a theme party to go to don't waste your time with high priced, cheap looking costumes get the real thing at West of Texas. Best modern western boutique in the entire area. I've bought boots, dresses, and jewelry here. I drive from spring valley lake and love the selection and customer service. Wish we had a boutique like this where I live. Linda is amazing! She goes above and beyond and treats me like a sister :-) One time I came to shop and was starving, she sent me to the best cafe near by and let me snack on it at the shop.
