    Jalapeño burger w sweet potato
    Eyal B.

Great place to stop when you come back from busy day on the mountain in Kirkwood Steak sandwich and couple of burgers (jalapeño, western) were delicious to all of us with fresh French fries. Regular and sweet potato, ...And we also had live music on Friday evening! What's not to like...

    Buffalo cauliflower

Very accommodating! They were able to take our large family without any issues. Not only that, but there were usually about three people assisting us with great service. It definitely feels like old Jackson. It's a brewery through and through. The bar is beautiful wood and it feels like you step back in time eating here. With one minor exception, everything here was above and beyond the expected. The onion rings were great, the little ones wanted another order. The green beans with the Chipotle aioli might be the second best thing on the menu (1st is to come). The spice was perfect and the breading extra crunchy. The wings were spicy and cooked perfect. The only disappointment was the cauliflower. The buffalo sauce was underwhelming and the blue cheese (spread) didn't work. The main dishes were great all around. Not one bite of any burger wad left over and the fish and Chios disappeared quickly. The highlight was the pesto fries and French dip burger. The pesto fries are drenched in fresh basil pesto with parmesan. The French dip burger is a burger patty topped with roast beef and onions with au jus. It's seriously the best of both worlds. A French dip and a burger. I will definitely be back for this alone. We made a reservation since out party was over 10, but you could definitely walk in and find a table without much wait. There is also the connected wine bar area that serves the same food and drinks, but has a counter as well.

    Kids menu is totally awesome!

Brickhouse brew is a cute little brewery in old town Jackson. We order the jalapeño burger and the argonaut steak sandwich, both medium-rare, with pesto fries and sweet potato fries. Both meals were absolutely amazing, we shared half of each sandwich/burger. Couldn't tell you which was better as they were both amazing in flavor, presentation, and cooked perfectly!! Only suggestion is to have grilled onions on the steak sandwich, the onions that fell off the burger we added to the sandwich and next time we come here we will request that addition. Amazing service, our server Skye was very attentive and checked on us enough but not too much. She was just as amazing as the food.

Good food. Friendly service. A little loud but fun for a small group. Lots of beer choices and fast service.

Hello Yelpers!!! I'm so excited to give my thoughts about Brickhouse Brews. I asked Sky, our server, what she would recommend being this was our first time at Brickhouse Brews, I ordered the French dip sandwich, and I was not disappointed at all. I can't wait to try their entire menu. Hubby had the jalenpeno burger, which he devoured. Sky, our server can't say enough about her service she went above & beyond. I saw a gentleman come out of the kitchen and waved him over, asked if he was the cook, he was the owner, wow, I had to shake his hand. We will definitely be back. Live music friendly atmosphere you won't be disappointed!! Check out Brickhouse Brew in Jackson Ca

Delicious!! Sad to see a sign in the window the restaurant is for sale. Hopefully the new owner keeps the delicious menu! Please bring back the basic bitch beer! Had the jalepeno bacon cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. The bun was perfect, the hand patty was juicy and fries were hot. Yummy!

The best French dip in the world

Sitting right on Main Street is this spacious beer bar with a separate wine room. We navigated through the extensive wine menu and even tried a few thanks to our amazing waitress. Jessica was simply amazing. We really enjoyed the wines they had to offer for $8 per glass. We landed on a couple of highly regarded menu items thanks to Yelpers like YOU! Wedge Salad: 8 - Delicious crispy bacon and crisp iceberg lettuce was a healthy portion. Nice diced tomatoes but no blue cheese crumbles or fresh ground black pepper. Definitely a good value French Dip with Pesto Fries: 10 - Words can't describe how tender, juicy and delicious this roast beef is from their local butcher. This is a plain French dip with bread, meat, and au jus yet it is the best French dip I've had in 25 years (that place is now closed). This is the best French dip in the world...the bread was also delicious as it was tender and toasted to a crunch. The au jus was also very good. Worth a drive from anywhere in California if you ask me! Drytown Red on Red, Noceto Rosso, and Leoni Humbug Hill Red we're all amazing wines. Saluti Great spot to pop in for a drink OR a meal. They have the friendliest staff as we were thanked by three different waitresses that didn't even serve us as we left the bar. Jessica was amazing as was the food and drink. We will certainly be back!!!!

Brick house brews was very chill place to go and hang out . Good food and they had lots of I3eers to try . The waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable of the beers and food. Sorry I can't think of her name.

Horrible service. Horrible food. Paid $16.95 for this pathetic BLT. 10/10 do not recommend going here.

We were in the cute little downtown of Jackson and decided to try Brickhouse Brews for lunch. What a fabulous place. Great decor and TVs for all the games. They have a bar and a separate side room which would be perfect for parties. Our server was Jessica and she made us feel very welcome. She refilled drinks when she noticed they were getting low, had nice conversation, didn't rush us at all and she also suggested different things on the menu when we asked her opinion. The bartender was Brian "Skip." My husband had been in about 2 weeks earlier for the very first time and he brought his brother and their cousin. Brian remembered them and asked where "the guys" were. Impressive that he remembered customers after only meeting them once. (Of course, it probably helped that they are all loud, funny, fun and love their beer). So the food... We started with their loaded tater tots. Tater tots, cheese, bacon, and green onions. The tater tots were cooked perfectly. Very crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would definitely order these again. I had the steak sandwich with a side of some of the best onion rings I've ever had. The steak was a very tender ribeye and cooked exactly how I asked for it. What I also liked was that it was the steak and a bit of mayonnaise on a roll and that's it. No lettuce, no tomatoes or onions to take away from the taste. Just steak and mayonnaise. Perfect. My husband had the western burger with a side salad and he loved it. He said the salad tasted "very fresh." Our daughter had the jalapeño burger with sweet potato fries. She said the burger was excellent. The fries came out looking a little over done and when Jessica put the dish in front of her, she told my daughter to try them and she would have the kitchen redo them if necessary. She said she had told the cooks they looked a little too done to serve, but the cooks insisted they were fine. My daughter tried one and said that despite how they looked, they were very good. But, we definitely appreciated that Jessica wanted to make sure we were happy with the meal. This was a really nice place with very personable and friendly staff and great food. We will definitely be back.

The beer menu! Wish I could have found it online.

French dip burger was delectable! Great tender patty, nailed the medium rare cook, crisp slender fries. Awesome burger! Wedge salad with prime rib was super tasty, great flavor, lots of meat! Pesto fries were loaded with pesto but not over powering. Fried pickles were done to perfection. Service started a bit slow but finished strong.

Stopped by here for lunch while checking out Jackson on the way back from Tahoe. The beef here is the star. I ordered the french dip sandwich and the meat was really good. Also got it with some yummy onion rings. Decent size for the price, thought it was worth it and overall satisfying. Two of my friends got burgers and they both really enjoyed it. One friend got the chicken sandwich but I wouldn't recommend that it's oddly small compared to all the other food. The pesto fries are also really great if you like pesto!

A Pleasant Surprise with a Small-Town Feel…read more This one caught me off guard--in a good way. I was out with my family practicing for my daughter's driving test at the DMV up the street. We pulled up Yelp to find a good lunch spot, saw the solid reviews, and decided to give it a try. When we walked in, the atmosphere had that small-town vibe--simple, welcoming, and comfortable. The food was very good. The service wasn't polished like a Michelin star restaurant, but it didn't need to be. It was authentic and heartfelt, and sometimes that matters more. You could tell the staff cared about what they were doing. The place was busy, especially for the time of day we went, which tells you something. People come here on purpose. That says a lot. We were seated quickly, our order was taken without any issues, and the food came out in a reasonable time. When it hit the table, the portions were generous and satisfying. I wish I had taken pictures, but I was too busy enjoying the moment. If you go, post your photos--I'm sure the business would appreciate it. If you've followed my reviews, you know I don't give out 4 stars often, and 5 stars are rare. This place earned that extra star because of how it made me feel--between the food, the atmosphere, and the service, it just worked. If I'm ever back in the area, I'm definitely coming back for another meal.

A very boutique winery, they specialize in natural wines - it was the first time I came across a winery that only served natural wines in the area! Founded in 2016, the winery produces only 2,000 cases a year. The wines are produced using locally grown estate grapes as well as grapes from Clarksburg, Acampo and Lodi. Their estate wines are grown in Pioneer at an elevation of 3,300 feet with 13 (!!!) different varietals on only three acres. They tend to be Rhone varietals as well as Barbera which does well in the area. They use neutral oak for barreling. The tasting flight at $10 had six different wines to sample. My favorite was the 2023 Phantom Limb Zinfandel which uses carbonic fermentation. With an alcohol content of 13.8% the certified organic grapes were harvested from the D'Agostini Shenandoah Vineyard using whole bunch fermentation. With concentrated dark red fruit notes, it had flavors of fruit punch with medium tannins. The other wine that stood out was the 2023 Strange Currencies, featuring Nero D'Avola. I am a huge fan of Sicilian varietals and this one did not disappoint. Strange Currencies was slightly more acidic with red fruit aromas and flavors of dark cherries and lots of tannins. This could easily be cellared for a few years. Finally the 2023 Little Faith, Skin Contact White was an orange wine using chenin blanc, pinot gris, chardonnay and orange muscat. It was bottled with residual sugar with a Cap'n'Crunch aroma on the nose and reminiscent of orange soda and lemon rind. It was considered one of their "large production wines" at 450 cases. With such unique names, the actual tasting room lended itself to the eclectic and whimsical wine labels. Lots of wood abounds with colorful original paintings. They are actually quite well known for their burgers, for $14 you can get grass-fed 6.5 oz patties with a variety of toppings. Imma coming back to try the food next. The patio outside is welcoming overlooking a garden area. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

I'm personally not a wine drinker, I dropped into their tasting room for the food. They were grilling burgers on the grill on the front patio. The smell of those burgers just hit me hard. I had to try one out. So glad I did, it's one of the best burgers I've eaten. Onto the food... ohhh that burger was outstanding. It's not any ordinary burger. Heck no. The 6.5 oz patty meat blend is a thing of lamb, bison, and Wagyu. I have never had that blend before. I can't stop thinking about it. Plus the chef caramelized the onions, spread a housemade mustard aioli, used quality white American cheese, and an artisan burger bun. Bam... delicious! $14. We also ordered a simple salad $5. Nice serving size. It was gorgeous looking and fresh tasting. The wine tasting room is modern, bright, and comfy. The staff is super welcoming. Wine tasting is $10. The End Of Nowhere wines was founded by Chris Walsh. His philosophy is sustainable farmed grapes, 100% native yeast fermentation, no filtration, minimal sulfur, neutral all aging.... gets you some delicious wine! In 2014, he came back to his childhood stomping grounds after many years working as a sommelier in New York City to plant a 10 acre vineyard in Pioneer, CA. Now the wine label uses those grapes and other local grown organic grapes. The shop also has a front and back patio area which the creek runs alongside. The back patio has a deck and lower plaza. The particular day I visited, there was no event or live performance so it was quite beautiful and serene back there. They do host a ton of events. Large shade trees and the creek running alongside (which right now is running at a low stream) sounding like well... a babbling creek. Check out their website endofnowhere.wine for their calendar of events. And they have a bunch of events lined up. Here a a few ....
