I ordered at 6:55. I watched the cashier girl stand around and flirt with her coworker, play on her phone, go sit down on a bench and chat with her grandpa. At 7:30, she walks up to me and asks me, "What did you order again?" The restaurant was empty and it had already been 35 minutes. I told her my order and I watch her go grab a pizza box I had been watching for the past 20 minutes. Her grandpa comes over with my burger and wings and everything is cold. She apologized and said that she didn't know the cooks put the food up. The restaurant was empty with no orders at the time so how did that happen?? I feel disrespected especially after spending $40 for the worst food I've ever had. The one star is mandatory, if possible I would give it a negative 0. Stay far away from this establishment. Very unhappy with my last delivery of my large pizza. I have been a repeat customer. I ordered large pizza with sausage, white onions and mushrooms. Very 'skimpy' amount of toppings on the pizza. Paid $32. for the food. Not going to do this again! People expect a 'reasonable' pizza with fair amount of toppings since I had 3 extra toppings. My pizza before this wasn't so short changed. I think you need to be consistent otherwise others too will go elsewhere. In my opinion. This is just one of those places that hits it out of the park for lunch. With a lot of offices in the area, they manage to keep everything organized and quick for lunch pick-ups. While I haven't had the pizza, of all things, their salads are creative and a great size. You won't go hungry. I go for their Field Green salad (greens, cranberry, walnuts, gorgonzola and dressing) and add chicken. Worst expensive sandwich ever! Got a BLT on a wheat wrap here and it was puny and it was $10.75!!!!! It was also terrible! How do you ruin a BLT? Once upon a time (okay, up until like three weeks ago) it used to be Nick's Pizza, which was a pretty run-of-the-mill pizza/sub joint. It closed for maybe five minutes and reopened as Brick Fire Pizzeria. Pros: - The food, obviously. Nick's Pizza had middling food -- like, it was good on the days when I wanted to buy lunch but was too lazy to crawl to my car and drive 30 seconds up the road to Needham Street. Brick Fire's food is DELISH. Their pizza is *packed* with cheesy goodness and tons of toppings, their mozzarella sticks are to DIE for (as in I almost stabbed a co-worker who tried to steal one), and the calzones? You can't see it, but I'm doing that thing Italian chefs do when they kiss their fingertips. Their calzones are SO GOOD. Why are you still reading this? Go get yourself a calzone. - The decor. It's so nice and open inside, with dark wood tables and super cute red-orange metal chairs. There are cool light fixtures hanging, and the walls have been painted a sleek silver to complement the orange of the chairs and lights. Even the fonts and colors in their menu are nice and modern. - The staff. Everyone is so friendly and funny. Vicky, who is basically captain of the ship, is a precious cinnamon roll too good for this world. I've never met a sweeter, more genuine person. Delicious pizza. Although price is pretty high. I do enjoy eating the Rancheros pizza. They forgot to put a drizzle of ranch at the top of it but the chef came to me and stated apologized. I was pleased with his honest. But the pizza was the best as I would never think of ranch on it. My son is also enjoying his buffalo chicken pizza.
