We ordered the AK Special and a Greek salad for take out -- both were really good! The pizza was thin but not too thin, loaded with toppings and just the right amount of cheese. Everything was fresh and flavorful -- definitely hit the spot. read more

Standard, average pizza. Nothing bad, good for fast delivery and such but not a lot of reasons to return. Appreciated the fast delivery for a large crowd. Accurate order and arrived hot. read more

This was quite literally one of the best things I've ever consumed. I don't usually have a huge appetite. 1.) this wrap was MASSIVE and I had maybe 1-2 bites left at the very ends. 2.) The wheat wrap was nice and thin but still held everything together 3.) THE STEAK TIPS. INSANE. Holy cow. Never had such a delicious wrap before. Cannot recommend this enough! A must try. read more

Always happy with AK's! They're our go to pizza delivery spot. It's definitely one of the best pies in Waltham. Delivery is quick, and you don't have to go through Grub Hub or Uber Eats which I fully appreciate! Prices are fair, and staff is always great to us. Highly recommend making this place your delivery of choice! read more

Delicious pizza especially for the Greater Boston area. Pizza crust was nice and thin and had a really good cheese to sauce ratio. AK's is a great option for lunch. The menu is huge. Ordering was easy through UberEats. The pizza arrived on time and was piping hot. Definitely check it out. read more

Wanted takeout since it was a rainy night. I looked through Grubhub, and this restaurant came up. I decided to call the restaurant instead of ordering through the app because I had questions. The man who answered the phone was so nice and patient with my questions, and I completed my order through him. I got the Buffalo Wings and the AK Calzone. Since the weather was bad, I am sure they had a lot of take-out orders. The food arrived and I was surprised by the amount. The portions were pretty big. The chicken wings were fried and then tossed in the Buffalo sauce, and they were coats well. Unfortunately I couldn't finish all of them. The calzone was really yummy. It was filled with toppings and cheese, and the dough had a good taste to it. I could not finish all of it as well. Not because I didn't try, it was a lot of food. Overall, I think it is a good option for anyone in the surrounding area. read more

One of best Italian subs I've had in Waltham! Plus Mac & cheese and jalapeño poppers were great. Will definitely order again!

Amazing!!! Great food at reasonable prices and huge portions! Quick delivery too. Five Stars!

very people my food was spiked. I was sick for six months flu like. i will never order from that place again.

Always fast, always friendly, always delish. Definitely try the chicken bacon ranch canzone

Delicious food and pleasant staff. The chicken cutlet parmigiana calzones are the best in town.

3.5/5 Pros: -Large portions -Nice packaging (wings in aluminum foil in a box to separate them from the side orders) Cons: -Skip curly fries -Order extra sauce -- Flavored Chicken Fingers Dinner ($15.77) 5 very large (~2.5oz each) heavily breaded chicken tenders. The portion was huge and the chicken was good, though the breading was a little overly chewy in places. I didn't click the "Xtra?" on the online order next to the sauce choice to specify Light, Extra, or Xxtra, so I assume my order was standard and it was barely coated--at first I thought they were plain chicken tenders! Definitely opt for Extra sauce here. The Sweet & Spicy sauce was pretty good, but I went with Ranch on the side and it was very watery. This dinner comes with 2 sides and I chose Sweet Potato Fries and Curly Fries. None of the fries were crispy, but I enjoyed the Sweet Potato Fries. The Curly Fries needed a lot more seasoning and I wouldn't order them again. read more

AK's Waltham - Flavored chicken fingers dinner (standard amount of sweet and spicy sauce) with sweet potato fries and curly fries ($15.77, May 2019) - Pizza Near Me - Waltham, Massachusetts

Great tasting pizza with quick service at a reasonable price. Wasn't at all disappointed with the cheese and pepperoni pizza that I had ordered. Tasted fresh and the personal pizza was the perfect size for one person. Would totally order again. read more

I came here too many times (out of convenience or?) more than I would like to admit but as a hungry broke college student... what can you do? Their pizza slice special (2 slices and a drink) does it for me; I also recommend the chicken fingers and curly fries. Everything else is hit or miss, so be warned! read more

Ordered two large pizzas via GrubHub: 1) large pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño for $19.24; and 2) BBQ chicken for $17.99. Thin crust with a simple doughy flavor, slightly crispy on the bottom, and cooked properly. A tad light on the toppings, so I would order double if I were you. Nothing remarkable, although perfectly acceptable delivery pizza. Delivery was 30 min longer than GrubHub estimated (and the GH tracker said it was already delivered long before it actually arrived at my door???). read more

Omg I have lived in Waltham for 14 years married and never knew this place existed - so far everything we have ordered has been absolutely gorgeous, delicious and so scrumptious. It makes it hard to cook for dinner - I'm convinced they do a secret process to there lettuce for their salads because I've had them all - just as they are and they are too good. My husband has ordered a few subs that look amazing. I've been looking for a really delicious local simple margarita pizza and there's is a solid 7 - looking forward to trying more menu items read more

Good service, try their chef salad, a favorite of mine . Good pizza Good menu with many options

1. They make the best Italian sub in town and are always my go-to for subs 2. They are always really quick and reliable with delivery 3. Tonight I ordered my favorite Italian sub and forgot to select the toppings on the Grub Hub app. Thinking that I had selected them, I called to tell them the sub arrived with no toppings. They very nicely explained to me that the order came through without the toppings requested but still sent me a new sandwich and were super fast at sending me the new one. I saw on the slip that I had indeed forgot to select the toppings and called back to apologize. The man said "you don't have to apologize! That's my job. Customer service." Thank you AKs! You made my night when you really didn't have to! :) read more

Good pizza. Good service. I order takeout there quite a bit. The people there are nice. I recommend!

First time trying AK's... I've lived in Waltham for six years now and my boyfriend has rejected EVERY SINGLE sub place we have ever tried. I saw the reviews for AK's and suggested we give it a go. He walked in with the food and said, "we don't even need to start eating I've already decided this is a great place." He said his experience with pickup was quick and easy, and the gentleman working inside was kind and friendly. He gave two thumbs up to his steak and banana peppers sub and enjoyed the whole thing. I got a veggie calzone and added eggplant -- PHENOMENAL. I also tried a side of the mac and cheese. A little under-flavored for me but I just added a little cheddar and it hit the spot. We also tried the seasoned chicken fingers, and got extra sauce on the fingers per recommendation of a previous review. They were cooked very well and super delicious. Can't wait to try AK's again (and get more pictures of the food!!!). read more

First of all this food is incredible but the people here are also some of the absolute kindest! I had surgery today and craved their falafel wrap for my first post-op meal and they were so damn nice I'm committed to AKs for the foreseeable future. I used to order from South Boston when I worked there before the company moved and now I move to Waltham just to learn there is one here...talk about serendipity. I love this place with all my heart. read more

A cold and rainy night and I didn't want to venture out of the hotel so I took a chance on delivery. After looking at the menu choices I couldn't not get the tuna melt on rye. Perfect choice. Best pizza joint in town! Service is fast, the staff is extremely kind and friendly, and the food is delicious! The prices are fair (I personally like their 2 slices and a soda special), especially for how great the food turns out. The staff goes above and beyond to make your dining experience a new one! They have also revamped the space since the last pizza shop was there-it's chic, welcoming and feels young. You can always catch the news on their TV or look out of the window of their stool-seating area. I'm so happy they joined South Street! read more

I've been frequenting AK's every couple of weeks for over a year now and I have yet to try one single thing off their menu that I have not been pleased with. Subs, wraps, pizzas, salads and sides have all been very good. Their customer service is great. And the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend AK's Waltham for lunch and dinner. Enjoy. read more

I wanted to try a different place for pizza and I went to Yelp, read the reviews and me and my son decided to try AK's and we are glad that we did. They have plenty of seating inside and out, the service was good, the girl that took our order was helpful, pleasant and explained the menu. We had a three topping pizza, and a Greek salad, and the food was great. The pizza is as advertised. Prices are very reasonable. We will be back. read more
