Excellent greasy Italian pizza served by regular guys who work hard and care a lot. Delicious, good potions, 1990s-era atmosphere, a little expensive (but so is everyone now.) what a gem in Lexington, where everything is foreign or fine dining. read more

Best pizza I've had! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, the cheese was fresh and flavorful, and the toppings were generous. Everything came together perfectly. Definitely one of the best pizzas around -- 10/10! read more

The menu at Alexander's Pizza has been consistently delicious and delighting our family and friends for over a decade. One family member asks for their calzone as a birthday gift.. it's that good. They have even accomodated the vegetarians in the family with scrumptious vegetable creations and it is a top destination for our son whenever he visits from the west coast. Whether a slice of pizza or a full meal Alexander's has an extensive menu to please even rhe pickiest palate. read more

First time here overall good. Food/Drink: Pizza by the slice! Pretty good New York style pizza. Regular amount of options and combos. Full Italian style menu, appetizers, entrees, pizza, soups, salads, and desserts! Pizza: Great crunch not too much, Very flavorful, not super oily though, Sauce was good not too sweet could have used a little more garlic. Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, area. Benches, large counter, double closed off entry way so mo breeze. Plenty of seating! Prices: Relatively cheap. 3 slice and fountain for $13! Parking: Plenty of space, shared strip mall lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekday late lunch rush, it was empty. Staff/Attendants: Great! Decent experience...idk maybe one more try! 7/10 read more

Really delicious food! The pizza slice was around $3.80 and the pasta was around $12 so the prices are bit high, but the food is pretty good! The pizza could have been a bit more fresh compared to previous experiences. The owner's hospitable spirit however makes the experience so great! read more

I will definitely go back to this restaurant. Pleasant and inviting customer service is a must for me and their family-owned and operated spot did not disappoint! Minimal seating available...mostly a take out joint. Try them out... you'll be happy that you did.... read more

Great food at reasonable prices for Lexington. Main reason I order over and over is the excellent delivery service. Of course, I tip well, so that might help the fast delivery to Bedford. read more

Awesome pizza! Friendly staff! Normally go to another pizza place in Lexington, but stopped going because they are rude. Alexander's was a nice change! Very friendly, plus better prices and better pizza! We tried a cheese, the santorini, and the Alexander's special. The santorini was excellent... plenty of feta, tomatoes, olives and onion. It was the #1 favorite at my house. The Alexander's special was like an "everything" with all of the toppings. Very filling and stayed in tact. Cheese was super cheesy! Crust was very good. Will definitely be back! read more

Good basic "Greek style" pizza. Now I have no clue what makes it Greek style, but it's definitely good ! Also have subs here. For years I have always liked their food. Strictly take-out ambiance. read more

Pizza was good. It was burned on half the crust but the flavor was still there. The Nutella dessert calzone was just ok. Next time I would get it with just Nutella and no marshmallow. read more

I love this spot...Its a little hole in the wall that its easy to drive by, but wide selection. I love a good Chicken Parm and theirs is my favorite Chicken Parm around. Don't let the little hole in the wall vibe put you off, these guys are great and the owner is a character. Cheers read more

Veered off the highway (because I was so hungry) I drove down the road for about a mile looking for somewhere to stop and went out on a wim and just stopped in the parking lot. Walked in and the smell immediately hits you, like, omg this place smells amazing. They have so many options on their menu- classic Italian joint, like JUST what you picture in your head. Ordered a calzone and that was the best darn calzone I have ever had in my life. No joke. I waited a normal amount of time. Like 20 minutes. Sat down to eat conveniently inside, at bar style seating. P E R F E C T. They're hospitable, polite. Worth it, seriously just go in. read more

I have a family member who is in a rehab facility in Lexington and had been craving a "good hot meal" for months. With Google and a stroke of luck I found Alexander's Pizza and hit the jackpot! She loves their Pizza! And I love how courteous the employees are, even the delivery driver called me to let me know the food was there and who he left it with ( he wasn't allowed to her room due to covid). If I could give 10 stars I would! read more

Let me tell you something, I have no idea how this place doesn't have 5 stars. I have gotten pizza, wings and subs here over the years, and every time the food has been excellent. Tonight we got calzones, pizza and wings and they were delicious, I had a meatball and caramelized onion calzone and it was literally the best calzone I've ever had. Add the friendly and outgoing staff that makes you feel like family and you really can't do any better in the Lexington area. Highly recommended. read more

Alexander's Pizza - Meatball and caramelized onion calzone - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Massachusetts

First time eating here and got a veggie pizza, jalapeño poppers and Greek salad. The pizza was cold and overloaded with mushrooms. The jalapeño poppers were not fried completely and the feta in the Greek salad was a big square blob on top of a mediocre salad. The staff seemed nice but unfortunately this could not make up for the bad food. Will not be going back. read more

Worst experience ever, party pizza still frozen in the pan and couldn't bake it. Wait 45 mins and still didn't bake the pizza, they were trying to thaw it out. Ask the owner why it was taking so long; began to argue with me and threaten to call the cops when I wanted a refund. read more

I love everything about this place. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and consistent, especially the pizza. This place is a 4.5-5 star pizza joint all day long. Don't give it a second thought and give it a try. If you're still not convinced, after eating the first slice I took the time to write this review and call back the restaurant before having the second. read more

I just saw some reviews trickle in for Alexander's and I gotta say, the meatball sub I had was virtually inedible. The meatballs had the consistency of a super ball -- remember those balls you could buy for 25 cents when you walked into a Kmart in the 1980's? Yeah, well, they now are being served @ Alexander's in the lovely town of Lexington. Not a fan. The saddest part was, the guys were nice who work there, but I can't in good conscience give a rating above one star for this "food." The sauce was okay, but I ended up eating a few bites and then throwing the rest in the trash. Not good. :( read more

Owner is completely unprofessional and rude. I ordered delivery and when it arrived, it was incorrect. (I ordered two pizzas and a pizza and sub were delivered.) When my driver called the restaurant to sort out the issue, I was handed the phone and the owner was on the line. He offered to take back the sub, make a large pizza in its place and have it delivered, and charge the credit card the difference. I told him I appreciated the offer, but didn't think I should be charged for the inconvenience. His response was: "Listen Buddy, I've been doing this a long time and you ordered incorrectly." Not okay; if I wanted to be told I'm doing something incorrectly, I'll call my mom. All set with this place. read more

New to Lexington, was looking for new pizza place to call home on Sunday nights. Tried Alexanders and am not a fan. The pizza is tasteles, the dough is like wonderbread and the "beef" topping is definitely not beef, but some other imitation. I would have been more satisfied popping a frozen pizza in the oven at home. Staff was not friendly and 2 salads, a large pizza cost almost $30. Definiltey not a new customer. read more

This is one of the best pizza shops North of Boston! It is a local treasure and a best kept secret as most customers travel from 3-5 cities over. Located right off i95, you could order and pick up but I would recommend taking a break off your commute and enjoying a slice fresh out the oven. The guys running the joint always keep a positive vibe and are quick to crack a joke. Their pizza is a cross between New York and Chicago style with a crisp thin crust and a soft fluffy dough pie like center. The cheese is stretchy and decadent and won't slide off the slice like other gimmicky pizza shops. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is top notch with the optional added topping of fresh blue cheese. There are other great picks such as the Steak tip dinner but you will definitely go out of your way for the delicious Pizza! read more

Alexander's Pizza - The Buffalo Pizza with fresh blue cheese!! - Pizza Near Me - Lexington, Massachusetts

I have been coming to Alexander's for a couple of years now, and I am not even a resident of Lexington. Greek style pizza is my favorite, and it is a hidden gem. Most greek style pizza is delicious, however Alexander's isn't great. The crust is too thin, and just doesn't taste like greek style pizza. I will keep having it (my fiancee's) favorite, but its not the greatest. They need to remove the thin crust and get back to their roots. I gave this two stars, cause I must say, the Gyro's are good. Definitely recommend. Cheers! read more

Best pizza in Lexington, crust is nice and crunchy. Greasy and delicious... I moved to waltham and I still hop off the highway on my way home from work occasionally to stop in. They have a counter you can sit at but it's mostly a take out joint. Four stars for above average Greek pizza; I haven't had any of their other food. read more

I'm not a fan of Greek pizza. Most times it's too greasy and almost has a sour taste to it. This place is no exception. Pizza sitting under a rotating heat lamp is a sure sign that your taste buds are not about to be treated to party in your mouth. I once ordered the baked ziti and a salad. Ziti had no ricotta or mozerella cheese, no meat sauce, just noodles and marinara sauce. The salad was iceberg lettuce and unripe tomatoes cut too large. With all the choices in a five mile radius this is not a repeat for me. read more

I love their pizza. I wish they were closer to my house, The subs are great and so are their fresh salads. They need to work on the gyro. Good people, good food. read more

I moved to the NYC area from Appalachia, and from the NYC area to the Boston area. You wouldn't think that spending only a few years in the NYC area would make me a pizza snob, but oops, it did. That said, it's damned difficult to find decent pizza in Boston. This stuff they call pizza isn't pizza, it's very nice flatbread with fancy toppings. That's NOT pizza. Pizza is a crispy crust (or a soft, bready crust) with good sauce and greasy cheese and toppings and FLAVOR, for the love of god, flavor. Alexander's is the closest thing I've found to that. It's greasy and delicious, good toppings, good crust, good price. The crust under the sauce and cheese (that is, not the exposed thing at the edge of the pie) leaves a bit to be desired, it's kind of soft and chewy, but whatever, this is the best thing I've found since I moved here, I took down half of a large in one sitting (I'm not a very big person, so half a pizza is a big deal for me) and have no regrets about it. Biggest complaint is that they don't deliver. Which doesn't matter because they're close enough to my commute for me to pick up a pizza ... which does then matter because I commute by bike so the pizza'll be cold by the time I get home. Whatever. So worth it. Good pizza in Massachusetts. Praise be. read more
