Full Italian style menu, appetizers, entrees, pizza, soups, salads, and desserts! Pizza: Great crunch not too much, Very flavorful, not super oily though, Sauce was good not too sweet could have used a little more garlic. Dinning Area: Pretty large, open, area. Benches, large counter, double closed off entry way so mo breeze. Plenty of seating! Prices: Relatively cheap. 3 slice and fountain for $13! Parking: Plenty of space, shared strip mall lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekday late lunch rush, it was empty. Staff/Attendants: Great! Decent experience...idk maybe one more try! 7/10 read more

Really delicious food! The pizza slice was around $3.80 and the pasta was around $12 so the prices are bit high, but the food is pretty good! The pizza could have been a bit more fresh compared to previous experiences. The owner's hospitable spirit however makes the experience so great! read more

Awesome pizza! Friendly staff! Normally go to another pizza place in Lexington, but stopped going because they are rude. Alexander's was a nice change! Very friendly, plus better prices and better pizza! We tried a cheese, the santorini, and the Alexander's special. The santorini was excellent... plenty of feta, tomatoes, olives and onion. It was the #1 favorite at my house. The Alexander's special was like an "everything" with all of the toppings. Very filling and stayed in tact. Cheese was super cheesy! Crust was very good. Veered off the highway (because I was so hungry) I drove down the road for about a mile looking for somewhere to stop and went out on a wim and just stopped in the parking lot. Walked in and the smell immediately hits you, like, omg this place smells amazing. They have so many options on their menu- classic Italian joint, like JUST what you picture in your head. I just saw some reviews trickle in for Alexander's and I gotta say, the meatball sub I had was virtually inedible. The meatballs had the consistency of a super ball -- remember those balls you could buy for 25 cents when you walked into a Kmart in the 1980's? Yeah, well, they now are being served @ Alexander's in the lovely town of Lexington. Not a fan. The saddest part was, the guys were nice who work there, but I can't in good conscience give a rating above one star for this "food." Owner is completely unprofessional and rude. I ordered delivery and when it arrived, it was incorrect. (I ordered two pizzas and a pizza and sub were delivered.) When my driver called the restaurant to sort out the issue, I was handed the phone and the owner was on the line. He offered to take back the sub, make a large pizza in its place and have it delivered, and charge the credit card the difference. I told him I appreciated the offer, but didn't think I should be charged for the inconvenience. His response was: "Listen Buddy, I've been doing this a long time and you ordered incorrectly." The pizza is tasteles, the dough is like wonderbread and the "beef" topping is definitely not beef, but some other imitation. This is one of the best pizza shops North of Boston! It is a local treasure and a best kept secret as most customers travel from 3-5 cities over. Located right off i95, you could order and pick up but I would recommend taking a break off your commute and enjoying a slice fresh out the oven. The guys running the joint always keep a positive vibe and are quick to crack a joke. Their pizza is a cross between New York and Chicago style with a crisp thin crust and a soft fluffy dough pie like center. The cheese is stretchy and decadent and won't slide off the slice like other gimmicky pizza shops. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza is top notch with the optional added topping of fresh blue cheese. I have been coming to Alexander's for a couple of years now, and I am not even a resident of Lexington. Greek style pizza is my favorite, and it is a hidden gem. Most greek style pizza is delicious, however Alexander's isn't great. The crust is too thin, and just doesn't taste like greek style pizza. I will keep having it (my fiancee's) favorite, but its not the greatest. They need to remove the thin crust and get back to their roots. I gave this two stars, cause I must say, the Gyro's are good. I'm not a fan of Greek pizza. Most times it's too greasy and almost has a sour taste to it. This place is no exception. Pizza sitting under a rotating heat lamp is a sure sign that your taste buds are not about to be treated to party in your mouth. I once ordered the baked ziti and a salad. Ziti had no ricotta or mozerella cheese, no meat sauce, just noodles and marinara sauce. The salad was iceberg lettuce and unripe tomatoes cut too large.
