Nice reliable local pizza joint. Good alternative for when I'm feeling too lazy to brave the traffic and the typically long wait at Regina's in Medford. Price wise, surprisingly about the same or a little more than Regina's and Regina's does have a better crust and ingredients, but Venice is plenty good enough for what it is. It's nice to be able to order online for pickup (I would never trust delivery to get it here on time plus you have to tip them more, no thanks), and the service fee for online ordering is just a buck. Best of all, they are open until a decent hour (10pm) all week long, unlike the unfortunate post-pandemic trend of everybody closing up by 9, or even 8pm! Crust is nice and crispy on the outside, and not overly thick or bread-like at all which is my main dislike when ordering pizzas. I do wish they used a little more tomato sauce, but thank god the sauce they do use isn't overly sweet. And I appreciate them offering condiments (black pepper, oregano, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, etc.) at the counter so you can season your pizza on your way out the door. PS. One of the other reviewers griped about service here when having a "first date"---why TF would you ever take any date, especially the FIRST date, to a place like this which is clearly focused on take out and delivery??? I ordered two large pizzas ahead of time. was told 15 minutes. when I arrived, the woman at the counter told me they were almost ready. as they were taking them out of the oven, a friend of theirs came in to pick up his order. he said he needed two pizzas as well and didn't care what was on them. I watched as he gave the two I was waiting for to his friend. Because we had people already at the house, I waited 15 more minutes. They never said a word to me and I will never order from them again. Nor will anyone else I know as what is to say that won't happen to them. Ordered for pick-up and they were friendly and timely. We got 2 XL pizzas, the Caliente and Mediterranean. Both super tasty and really good for different reasons. The Mediterranean pizza had grilled eggplant which i've never had on a pizza and it was SO GOOD! The eggplant was slightly smokey and went super well with with the peppers. I would definitely get this again. Caliente has hot peppers and it was definitely spicy and tangy! I also really liked the tomato sauce they put on the pizza and the crust isn't too thick. Even with an XL pizza, each slice held it's shape and didn't require eating it like a taco, if you know what I mean. They have lots of other specialty pizzas with unique flavors that I would definitely come back to try! read more

I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo and Buffalo chicken pizza, both of which came at an affordable price as compared to competitors. As for the taste, it is incredible. Might have been the best pasta and pizza I have ever tasted. Beats Domino's and Pizza Hut any day of the week, best restaurant in the city. I drove all the way from Waltham to eat, and I did not regret the drive. I would give 10 stars if possible. The service was also impeccable, the person at the cashier was nice. read more

Really good! Got 3 small pizzas from here, for pick up. It took a little longer than expected, so they offered some drinks, which was super nice. Pizzas were piping hot and tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our food from Venice Italian Kitchen. We kept it simple with a couple of slices of pepperoni and a side of french fries after a day of traveling. Pizza was delicious with a nice crunch on the bottom and ample toppings. Fries were crispy and HOT as we chose to eat in. As others have indicated, this is a little corner pizza joint with counter service and a couple of tables. This was my second time here and I will be back when I stay in the area. read more

Now THAT is pizza! I had almost given up on finding: well-seasoned tangy sauce, super thin crust that is somehow both crispy and chewy, cheese and toppings all great. The food is very good but the delivery is extremely slow!!! When they first opened they started out strong but the last few months delivery slow and the tiramisu shrank about quarter of the size it used to be. It's not worth waiting an hour for delivery on a weekday night. read more

Baked ziti was OK, they just put parmasean cheese on top of pasta and marinara sauce. But the delivery was very quick.

I would give a 0 star if they had it, went in to get some pizza from this shop. When i opened my pizza box i noticed a long hair across my pizza like melted into it. When i showed the man (egyptian man) he said i was lying and i put it on the pizza and told me to leave. not sure how i managed to plant a hair on the pizza when it looked like it was baked into it?? would not recommend going here because if you have a complaint they will yell at you and tell you to leave! read more
