I had a chicken salad wrap for 11.00. The wrap was on the smaller side but so was the price. At 11.00, they must own the building otherwise the price would be more if they had to pay rent. I was full so it was big enough. It is a few blocks up from the center of the shopping area. They only have street parking but no meters. It is your basic pizza shop so you know what to expect. I would have to try again before I would pass judgement but I see no reason why I would not return. read more

I've got a bone to pick with Peter's Pizza. We had a family get together this evening and figured we would order Peter's as we have done so many times in the past. Peter's has been some of the best pizza in the immediate radius. We used to love Peter's Pizza but the quality has dipped a bit recently...ok maybe because of COVID.....so let's still support the local brand and not fracture the whole relationship. That stops now. Our steak and cheese subs were filled with bone chips tonight. Yes, bone chips! (See below) This certainly spurred a call to the manager asking for new subs (something different of course) and the manager was adamant that I save the subs and find the bone chips to send back. He was specific in stating that he wanted the bone chips back because the company he buys his provisions from would owe him a credit of meat. I thought ok (a little weird), but I don't want this to compound any further. So as I'm trying to eat with my family and I was also separating bone from steak and cheese for the manager. I found a lot more bone chips on top of the ones we already threw away. I called back saying they really should do something for the inconvenience. The manager said I will only give you a sub (BTW we had two steak and cheese subs). I told him I didn't think that this was humerus!!! The delivery driver showed up and I politely declined the sub and showed him the "bone bag" I had. He was horrified as well! He said the manager really should have made it right. This is a true jewel of a pizza and sandwich shop. I personally love the chicken cutlet sandwich. The pizzas are crispy, chewy, and flavorful. The store is tiny so there's really no place to dine in, so call ahead and you're in/out in the blink of an eye. read more

I hadn't been to Peter's pizza in over 12 years and decided to stop in to grab a slice for lunch. I asked if they served slices he named what kind and I said two cheese He looked at them and said "I give you two for one because a little burnt" then walked to the oven. A woman walked in after me (African American) she also order two cheese pizzas and a drink. And paid. A new man asked me if I paid I said no he charges me $6 the man from the oven comes up and says only one slice for her so he charges me $4 Two slices come up in a bag I'm assuming for me since I was first but he said no and the other woman got them. She walked out he said "I didn't want her to see you got two" Sooo I'm confused as to why I paid for one and she paid for two and we got the EXACT same thing?!? ALSO they have photos all over the walls of someone who hunts for show showing all the animals (zebra moose cheetah) clearly not hunting to eat just hunting for fun which is DISGUSTING. why would anybody want to look at innocent animals before they eat?! This is a complete disgrace. I will not be returning. Also my pizza was indeed burnt and nothing special. we always ordered from Pete's pizza. When the kids have bdays or we have get together. We ordered a large cheese today for pickup and either they shrunk or he gave us a small. When I asked him about it he insisted it was a large and the next size up was family style. Umm, since when? I have my kid with me and don't want to make a big fuss because he isn't backing down. Peter's Pizza is the best pizza I've had in Mass. The crust has a very nice crunch to it and has a little thickness to it, unlike most MA pizza. The sauce is sweet and the pepperoni is very flavorful. I'm looking forward to trying their sausage pizza next. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to review their other food because I'll always get pizza. I'm rarely ever in Wellesley, unfortunately. read more

**BUT*** I'm sad to say I won't be returning to Peter's again after being a regular customer over the past year. The pizza is great (tho the large is really a medium). The Greek salad is good (also way too small though). The reason that I'm not returning is that I was in there recently and suddenly noticed a wall I'd never seen. It was a wall covered in photos of presumably the owner showcasing all of his many kills as a hunter. There are so many reasons why this is in poor taste not the least of which is upsetting little kids. My kid would be devastated to see him standing proudly over the ZEBRA he killed with his rifle in hand. Just not a good decision. Given how faded they are, I'm sure the photo has been there for years. It's pretty inappropriate in my opinion. Will be sorry to not have Peter's Pizza again. read more

Decent breakfast burrito - I had the eggs Swiss cheese and turkey - prepared quickly tasted good but not spectacular and not cheap $8 or so. Place is dingy w Fox News on the tele and pics of the owner and family w their dead animal trophies. Really I don't care about the politics and killing of animals - I'm a total carnivore - just calling that out. Issue w place is the dinginess and lack of even the most basic friendliness of the owner. The guy has what appears to be contempt for his customers (at least he did for me) - looked thru me, didn't so much as say thank you or show that he gave a sh*t about my biz. I suspect this place is under new ownership, it used to have rather good, not great, but good pizzas. I haven't had a take-out pizza in two years and was in the area and decided I wanted one. I called and asked for a basic Margherita pizza with bacon and artichokes. The person said she had no Margherita pizza, I asked if she was sure because that is a pizza staple. She called a man. I asked the same of him. He said they had no artichoke (a surprise at an Italian pizzeria, but they could have been out of stock), okay, I said, could I have asparagus? Yes, he said, they had that. This place rocks! I just ordered a meatball sub/grinder and their Italian sub/grinder....AND WOW! Just like home! I am a transplant from Brooklyn and are up on Italian heroes (sub/grinder in Brooklyn-ese) and Peter's Pizza is the real thing!!!!! The only thing better would be my mom's sub shop in Bensonhurst... Holy cow--we ordered the pizza 2 hours ago, they said it was going to take 30-45 minutes to get here and we are STILL waiting. Every time we call they say "sorry but we're backed up." That's it. Ok, it just arrived... The delivery guy was nice and actually seemed to care, but food is not hot and our night in is kind of ruined (this was movie night with our 5 year old). When Peter's was across town on Linden Street, my office mates and I used to order their pizza most Fridays. I thought it had gone out of business but while driving on Washington street in Lower Falls, I was surprised to see that it is still in business, although in a much smaller storefront; no eat-in tables, a much reduced menu and no daily specials. I ordered a large pepperoni and bacon. My first surprise was the size of the large, which had shrunk to 13.5 inches. The next surprise was that the pizza was noticably dry, having very little sauce and, if possible, even less cheese. The final, and worst surprise was that the taste had been lost in the transition. I asked the counterman if they had to come in early in the morning to make the dough. He said, no they don't have the time to do that any more but, luckily, they can buy good pre-shaped crusts. I suspect the average buyer might argue with the "good" rating of the crust, which to me, was flavorless. In reading the reviews online, I noticed that 10 percent of reviews were 5-stars! My wife read them and said they obviously were written by "My mother, Mary" or other paid review writers. A sad state of affairs. read more

This place moved from the Linden Street location. Recently, my club got delivery from Pete's Pizza for a spring kick-off meeting. Delivery was right on time. The pizza is delicious, and the sauce is especially great. We all enjoyed the large greek salads with yummy dressing. Everything was crisp and fresh. I'm almost thirty years old and I've been eating Peter's Pizza ever since I can remember. They're always consistent and taste the same as they did 20 years ago, they're always pleasant on the phone and know exactly where to deliver, and most of all I ALWAYS look forward to coming back home to Boston to devour a fresh hot pizza all to myself. Very disgusted and disappointed. I regularly order from peters pizza even though they are never pleasant on the phone. However, today will be my LAST. They forgot one of our salads and when we called to inform them we got series ATTITUDE. The man on the phone kept asking if we knew who delivered our food because he had no idea about his employee whom deliver the food. Didn't have their numbers or anything. Then after he said he would send another salad....it showed up a half hour later, cold and they charged us more for the salad. Terrible customer service. read more

My co workers and I had ordered lunch quite a few times from this restaurant, hoping from the next time the service and quality of food would be better, but again we were disappointed!!!!!!!!! Delivery always takes over an hour, and when it does show up, the food is cold and hard and they do not even offer a discount or a refund. When ordering from the menu on hand, they charge a different price than on the menu. I would not recommend this place unless you want to get ripped off with cold, hard food!!! read more
