Delicious Italian style pizza. The regular thin crust is great. The thick crust Sicilian is amazing too. The sauce is really good and ordering through the slice app is a breeze. Fried apps were not the greatest but not the worst. The one time we got the sampler, everything was burnt. The pasta bolognese is okay. The pizza is the focus for us. Customer service is amazing. We have done both delivery (which is via 3rd party) and also pickup. One time we had a disastrous delivery which was no fault of the shop but 100% on the 3rd party that the Slice app is partnered with. The meatballs had little taste like all breaded filler in meat. Melted cheese, grilled onions all good. Sauce was watery and dripping as eating... I prefer meatballs sliced in sandwiches rather than whole as whole ones fall out on shirt or pants for dry cleaning expense not needed. One fell out into sandwich container... needed a fork I had in auto to eat ... Sub I won't buy again ... 15.77 was total ? 16 bucks too much for quality if meatballs . I was so happy when I found Pizza By Rocco's a couple of years ago. We order from them regularly. My photos aren't great, but the pizza is! We also love their chicken fingers. Sometimes I order them to use throughout the week for a quick dinner with rice or pasta and vegetables. Last night we tried their new Pesto-roni pizza. It smelled and tasted amazing! This place is a total mess. Do not order on Friday or Saturday nights. Ordered three pizza's and a salad on Friday night. Ordered on the app that was pushed to me from their own direct website. I went in to pickup my orser after I was messaged that the order was ready. It was not and I ended up waiting another 10 mintutes. At first it seemed that the problem was an unmade salad. I listened as instructions for the salad were called out and had to correct them in the process as they were reading wrong instructions. After a few minutes they handed me my order - missing a pizza. I pointed that out. They apologized and said they would still have to make it and it would be 7-minutes and to wait in my car. I questioned the 7-minutes but they said that is all. 15-minutes later they came out handing me the three pizza's and my salad. I left to go home. Then they called me 10 minutes into my drive home to tell me they gave me the wrong pizza (which is a type I don't want). After the 25 total minute extra wait, having to correct them on reading the order, and the wrong pizza I asked for a full refund. I was told that a.) this happens on Friday nights due to them being busy b.) that they usually do not get orders from the app I used (which came up from their direct website) c.) That people never order the specific pizza I chose (which is on their menu). I reminded him that I ordered at 5pm before the rush, and that it was not busy - no one else came in when I was there. I reminded them that I ordered a pizza on their menu (was not create your own). I reminded him that I used the app recommended by their direct website. This was my first time picking up an order here. We're feeding a film crew and on a tight schedule so we placed our order a day ahead and then called to confirm an hour before pickup. Despite confirming they had our order it was not there when I arrived. They said the ticket didn't print so the order wasn't made, but wasn't that the whole point of calling to confirm the order? I could hear the guy in the kitchen say it would be half an hour in Spanish and the cashier then told me in English it would be twenty minutes. I sat outside on their "patio" to wait and got sand blown in my face repeatedly. I'm not impressed. Their parking lot was also full, so I had to park around the corner, but there was only one other customer there. Overall this was a terrible experience. read more

I was in Natick for a hair appointment but because I literally spend five hours in that chair, I need to get something in the ol' system before heading in. I'll never forget the first time I ever got this done and the stylist said "I hope you ate lolllll". This place was the ONLY place in the vicinity that was dog friendly and we had our pups with us. Even though we had pizza for dinner the night before, I could eat that shit for every meal, let's be real. I took a seat outside when the sidewalk was probably sweltering more than their ovens. We were cutting it a little close to my appointment time so we decided to take a pie to go. GF ordered a pesto pie with tomato slices. The pizza was ready within the goldilocks time window: we didn't need to wait too long but it wasn't suspiciously quickly either. The staff member that brought the box out to us was so nice he offered to get us another set of napkins when one of them blew away. If i thought the weather was hot, I had another thing coming as the person who had the job of holding the pizza box in the car. It was PIPING hot. We drove to the hair salon and my oral mucosa had to take one for the team as I quickly ingested a slice. The crust is razor thin, which I appreciate. It's possible that it was just so hot but the center of the pizza had zero crust integrity. It was just flopping around, toppings long gone pretty much as soon as the slice was lifted from the pie. This made it much less pleasant to eat. I wish that I had more time to enjoy this pizza at a reasonable temperature because it was impressive considering everything else I've had in MA so far. read more

So I don't usually post like this, but I had to share an experience I had at Pizza by Rocco last night. They are 1.5 miles from our house. 11:30am- I ordered online 6 XL pizzas to be delivered at 6pm 6:13pm- I called the pizza place as food was not here, they said they are slammed and it would be there in 15-20 min. 6:31pm- I called again and they said it had already left and would be here in 2-3min. 6:59pm- Still no pizza. I called again and they spoke to manager, checked the drivers GPS and promised it was 2-3 min away. 7:22pm- I called again, spoke to the manager, he apologized and said they were super busy. I said it was a $200 order, placed at 11:30 this morning. He said he just took the pizza out of the oven and sent the driver himself. I said it's not good enough that I had a dozen hangry kids. He said the next time I order from them he will give me a discount but there's nothing else he can do. I told him there won't be a next time. 7:28pm- pizza arrived. By that point kids had already snacked on oranges and popcorn and I was I the middle of making a huge pot of Mac n cheese. The order was not correct when it as delivered and the kids only had about half of what was ordered. You can take from our experience what you will but we won't order from them again. read more

They confirmed the order by taking payment (my last available money until pay day), on screen on my computer, via email, and via text 3 separate times. Upon driving there I get a cancelled notice, called the 888 number and was told I must wait 48 hours for payment returned to my card or call the location directly. Instead kept driving to the location to see what happened and they were closed. No notice of this before the order or after. Excellent pizza, terrible service. Ordered many times and love the ranch steak and buffalo chicken pizzas. However, there are always problems with the order. Things are delayed, wrong pizza made, pizza burnt, always something. Last time we used the app to order takeout. The app says "ready for pickup". We show up and they didn't even start the order. We waited over 30 minutes in a small area in front of the counter for a pizza that we later discovered was burnt on the bottom. I should find another pizza place. read more

We ordered a large buffalo pie adding bacon, a medium sized extra mushroom, and a greek salad. Rocco showed up to impress giving a huge amount of topping while not going overboard. The salad was perfectly dressed, and just what the doctor ordered. I took the advice from a good friend of mine who doesn't give praise out so much. This is the best pie in metro-west period. The Buffalo Chicken and Chicken Alfredo pizza are SO SO GOOD!!! Warning though this place does get pretty busy so I would definitely try to order a little bit more in advance. The crust is really good and super crunchy and the pizza's are BIG. Definitely worth the money. This is my favorite chicken Alfredo pizza that I've had. There is a perfect amount of chicken on it and the sauce is so delicious. Definitely tastes homemade and not some random jar of Alfredo sauce from the grocery store. The buffalo Rancher pizza is a white sauce base which I love. A lot of other pizza places have a red sauce base which isn't always awesome. We've given Rocco's so many chances and every time there's an issue with the order. We stopped ordering delivery after 2 separate orders were over 45 mins late. This is the third time we've had issues with pick up. They alerted me my order was ready on sliced, still gave them another 10 mins, walk in to an empty place and when they went to get me order there was a bunch of hushed talking and I see them trying to sneak something out of the fridge to the fryer. This place is my FAVORITE shop in Natick Whenever I'm working its my go too place. Wheather its the chicken parm pizza the awesome sandwiches or the pastas its to die for.
