Rude owner / staff. Better options in the Natick area. Only in business due to proximity to Natick center. Pizza is nothing to rave about

As many others have shared, service (or lack thereof) is very rude. Man behind the counter, whom I assumed is the owner, virtually snarled at me and my friend as we were trying to place an order we walked out without making a purchase and will not return. BTW, several people have said they think he is racist, we are caucasian so it appears he hates all people equally. read more

As a longtime Natick resident, I've always wanted to continue supporting George's Pizza, but unfortunately, I can't anymore. I was charged over $15 for a small cheese pizza, which feels excessive. Sadly, this will be my last visit. read more

This food is not completely mediocre. It's above "mid", but nothing special. First I want to talk about the onion rings, they are the best items on the menu (that I have tried), if you get these definitely get two orders. Second I'll talk about the pizza, it is very generic you could get this same pizza at any other local pizza place. Finally I'll mention the buffalo chicken fingers. These have decent sauce, but if you let them sit for more than 2 minutes they get really mushy and soggy. Overall this is like any other generic local restaurant, and if you want to spend a bit more I highly recommend Rocco's. read more

So my family had ordered some food from DoorDash I know this is separate from everything else so we had ordered two large pizzas a large sub fries we had a $60 order DoorDash had completely messed it all up they helped us they reimbursed us that's fine now I'm trying to find some food at almost 9 o'clock at night so I like wow I'm really impressed with George's pizza I like them it was 845 when I walked through the door and they told me they were closed the door was open the open sign was outside but they were fused to take our order that I do not appreciate and I don't find that that's a good business to be around Plus their food is overpriced and if you really want to get good food and good customer service go to the pizza plus which is right down the street from them read more

Horrible customer service and disgusting food. I guess they didn't leave the mozzarella sticks in the microwave long enough because ours were cold. Other than that the rest of our food was aggressively mediocre. Do not recommend when there is so many better places nearby with the same type of food. read more

When you go to their George's website www.georgespizzanatick.com they have this special advertised: LARGE CHEESE PIZZA EVERYDAY SPECIAL Large cheese pizzas are $11.69 everyday at Georges. Guess what, they DON"T HONOR IT and instead charge you $16.59 for a 14 inch, cash only Pizza (with plenty of attitude). Pizza is ok but not worth the high price point and not worth patronizing the business if they don't honor their website special pricing offers. read more

My sister went to pick up an order and when she entered the restaurant she was talking to her son in Spanish, the guy told her to shut up and stated "No one wants to listen to that stupid language". I have been coming here since I was a child always local to Natick always Loyal to your store. Tonight I went in and I got a large pepperoni pizza. $18 for a large pepperoni pizza. I'm a hard blue-collar working guy who has always supported you and tonight you sold me an $18 pepperoni pizza that is so stale and disgusting on the crust that I will never order from you again. You are trying to take advantage of the newbies from Wellesley by upping your prices. Your food is way below the quality that you used to serve it at circa 2004 up until about this new owner took over. He is also completely unfriendly to be owning this once amazing place. So the guys in here are super friendly. I'm starting to think people in Natick are just happier than people in Marlborough. The pizza is... eh. It's Greek style, which knocks down for me anyway and the mushrooms are canned so. Boo. The sauce, however, is excellent so if you like Greek pizza and skip the shrooms you might easily find yourself with a four or five star slice. The calzones are a notch up and the buff sauce is damn good. Also, they're open later than many of the competitors. Still pretty early, because Natick blows for late night, but, you know, later than 9. I see 9:30pm buffalo wings in my future. They deliver too. But they're cash only, fyi. read more

Absolutely the WORST place I've ever been. The customer service was horrendous! I called and ordered two pizzas from their menu, 1 large cheese for $9.99 and 1 large two topping for $11.99 as stated on their website menu. The woman I spoke with who took my order said to just bring in the coupons, I told her they were on their website online, she repeated to just bring them in. When I arrived to pick up my pizza I showed the woman the website coupon and the guy working told me he wouldn't honor the coupons (again posted on THEIR website) and the prices were now $2 more each and that they hadn't updated their website yet...NOT MY PROBLEM. I said if you're not going to honor your prices that's false advertisement and I wouldn't be taking the pizzas, then he proceeded to call me an a$$hole for walking away and wasting the food, I said it didn't have to be that way if they would just honor YOUR ad. A third guy chimed in to tell me to stop asking the same question over and over, I thought he might be the reasonable one, but NOPE, he was just as RUDE...as I walked out, I was called an a$$hole again. Well come to find out, this isn't the first time they've done this...my mother told me that happened to her last year, of course her being her, she paid the difference and me being me I said to F off! My famiIy has lived in this town for more than 55 years and has frequented this business since they opened, well NO MORE! With tax and a $1 tip for the counter staff, I sat down to ANOTHER delicious pizza FOR UNDER $10. Last week a friend asked me to share a pizza with them at California Pizza in Wellesley. We ordered a thin crust pizza with mushrooms. What arrived was the equivalent of a small round disk with a matzah-like cracker crust. It was covered with a whisper of cheese and a smattering of small, very thinly sliced, mushrooms. My friend and I split it (3 slices each) and I left hungry and disappointed. At over $16 for the what they called a pizza, they should be embarrassed. So why mention California Pizza? -- because 'trendy' is sometimes just stupid. With 8 slices of pizza on George's large pizza, I had to take 3 slices home with me (and left stuffed). The crust is my favorite part - it has a unique almost pastry-like quality to it. George's Cheese Pizza comes with what most pizza shops sell as an extra cheese pizza. George's Pizza is a basic pizza parlor - no frills. So, sit and enjoy the pizza, take it home, or walk to the quaint town center common with it's charming gazebo and enjoy al fresco. I'm hooked! read more

DONT RECOMMEND! The worse service! The guy with long hair that makes the pizza is RACIST. Every time I go there, he gets very exasperated. Always mad, angry and yells at me. BUT when someone of a Caucasian descent or not Asian walks in he acts totally different (becomes very friendly, kind, and provides great service). With that attitude and mindset, I definitely would choose to eat somewhere else where the cook is more educated on diversity and isn't not prejudice. read more

Pros: - Their pizza: Amazing - Their subs: Filled with ingredients and amazing Everyone working there is friendly, and the food is prepped fast and efficient. They make everything fresh, but you won't have to wait long. The only con I can think of is they're a "cash only" establishment. No credit or debit cards. Pizza was delicious but wayyyy too small bit be a "large pizza." I had to order two to feed 2 kids 2 adults. Spicy Fries were #everything, and the home made honey mustard was straight out of heaven. Best pizza in town, hands down. Not only is coming here a way to support local business, but it is a guaranteed good meal. In my experience, good pizza places have bad sandwiches and vice versa - I've never been to a place that had great food all the way around with no down side...... until I came to Georges! Their subs, their wings, their salads, and oh god their pizza!!!!! Everything is incredible and even my more food-critic-like friends and family have been greatly impressed by the quality. What makes Georges even better is that once you're addicted to how good their food is, they start to remember you. There's nothing like walking into your favorite restaurant and having familiar faces recognize you and ask how school is, ask where you boyfriend is, or ask "sandwich today huh? no pizza?" George, the owner, is also commonly there working alongside his limited but skilled staff and it is always a pleasure to see them. I cannot say enough good things about this location. read more

I got a large "George's Extra Special" pizza. It has onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, salami, pepperoni, sausage, hamburger, ham and of course, extra cheese. They cook it perfectly. We were so disappointed!!!!! We decided we are not going back to this place anymore!!!! 6/24 Monday 9:28 pm, I stopped by and asked the guy what time is the last order? He said 10pm, so I said ok, I will pick up my husband and will be back before 9:45. He said OK. Then after I picked up my husband we returned at 9:40 pm which 5 minutes before I promised. He locked the door and looked up me "No" I couldn't believe it because I just talked to him. I knocked the door even he was ignoring me. Finally he said everything is off we are closed. Main items we get here: Italian sub and a steak & cheese sub. (Truthfully, I don't like Greek pizza, so I'm not going to base the review on the few pies I've purchased.) I love good steak & cheese subs. Theirs is the bomb! All the cheese is perfectly melted with meat and it's just the right amount of salty. The meat is good quality too (not chewy and stringy like other places in town). Italian sub was very good, not super greasy, and a good portion of vinegar and oil. Get a sandwich here. Where to start? This is one of those "pie cooked in a baking tin" type of spots. Pie was small overall, but enough to get the job done. Pie was doughy, crust didn't have anything going for it, mostly tasteless. Pepperoni was more akin to sausage, and the mushrooms were definitely from a can, which was absolutely gross. How can you make a decent pie with canned veggies? You can't. Eggplant park sub was mush, the eggplant was definitely cooked earlier in the week. I'm still going and it's still delicious. We order here for lunch at least once a week and no matter what I get it's always very good. Meatball sub, chicken salad sub, buffalo wings, buffalo chicken salad, cheeseburger sub, steak and cheese sub, roast beef sub, steak tip anything, any of the calzones - I literally could choose from any of these things and be very happy Sometimes I wish their hots weren't jalapenos but I get over it. ;) read more

I've had food from here 1000s of times, no joke. I used to live down the street from it and for a guy in his late teens/early 20s, it was great. Some days I would go there for both lunch on the way to work and dinner on the way home. It was a daily stop for me. The food was excellent then and still is now. George himself has always been great to me and from what I see, pretty much the same way to everyone. Him and the rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful. While I haven't had the entire menu, what I have had has always been excellent. It's not too bad price wise as well. Lack of seating aside, its a great place to go. You can always take your food over to the Natick Common and enjoy it in the great outdoor setting of downtown Natick. Make sure to bring cash though as they don't accept credit/debit cards. read more
