My go to Italian spot in Framingham. I been going here for atleast 10 years now. It is very annoying to do only cash but the food is worth it. Chicken ziti and broccoli is a must, I usually can't finish in one sitting. I love their pizza. To go orders usually take 15-20 mins. 8/10 read more

My husband and I moved to Framingham about a year ago and have tried a couple of pizza places. A friend recently asked if we'd tried Gianni's yet. We hadn't, but I knew exactly where it was. My friend told me it was his favorite when he lived in the area. I placed my order over the phone - a mushroom pizza and a Vito Special (pastrami sub). The guy on the phone was less than delightful, as was the guy at pickup. However, the pizza was fantastic. My favorite pizza for my entire life has been Pino's in Brookline, and this was incredibly close, which is very high praise. My husband said his sub was delicious. When the food is this good, the charm of the people becomes less important. Be prepared with cash, because that's all they accept. I'm looking forward to returning. Highly recommended. read more

Very good and tasty crust and toppings. Had a basic cheese pizza and a pepperoni and green pepper pizza. Would like a bit more customer appreciation with a 'Thank You'. read more

Gianni's Pizza & Subs - Perfectly cooked thin crust cheese ! - Pizza Near Me - Framingham, Massachusetts

Food is great... the miserable fat guy who faces the customers is the only reason for my bad review. I write reviews when things are really good or really bad. This guy is the reason for every bad nickname for people from MA. Like King Midas... I picture him having the power to change items by the mere touch only when he touches something; whatever it is tarnishes or shrivels up and dies by the power of his extreme attitude and negativity. He was so rude I almost told him to shove the pizza in his hot oven but... I fought against every instinct and answered every demand he yelled at me. The pizza and sub were great but next time, I may not have the same patience. Any phycologists... please take note - if you are looking for more clients... he's the fat angry one. read more

First of all it's not that hard to make good pizza but it's harder than providing good friendly service and allowing people in this day and age to pay with credit cards let alone Apple Pay. So when it comes to service and convenience this place sucks. They're rude and arrogant because they make good pizza!?! Who do they think they are?? I will never patronize this establishment again until new ownership or word gets around that they have changed the error of their ways. read more

Giannis Pizza is the only pizza my family will eat! I have to admit it's my favorite as well. The pizza is always cooked perfectly and never chewy or tough or anything. Just perfect pizza every time. Now that I'm thinking and talking about pizza from there... I think i know whats for dinner tonight!! read more

Food is amazing but it's incredibly difficult to see the menu online. Site is almost always down.

Everything they make is very good. Just don't expect great customer service. Cash only. Go in with the mindset that everyone behind the counter is angry, but you will get good food. read more

Sicilian pizza was really good! The place is cash only which is fine unless you're like me and don't carry much cash. (Fortunately my family does.) We called ahead for pickup and the food was warm and ready for us. There's some seating there but it's a to-go kind of place I feel. Delicious though and I recommend! read more

You guys have gone seriously downhill. Stale crust, no flavor, nothing. You forgot to put onions on a pizza I paid $28 for...like really ? Im so irate tonight by this entire experience and will never come back. I will give the guy credit for offering to make a new pizza but I didnt have time to wait another 20 minutes for your mistake. Maybe take $5 off or something? Like really ? Just awful. read more

Great subs and pizza. My favorite steak and cheese sub around hands down and both the regular cheese, and Sicilian, pizzas are great! Super friendly spot and easy to get in and out for to go orders read more

Tried Gianni's out for the first time today. Called around 5pm on a Monday, and ordered a large cheese pizza and the "snack pack". Service was good, they were polite over the phone and the order was ready in 20ish minutes. The pizza itself was good but not great. The sauce to cheese ratio was right where I like it, but the crust was about average. New to Framingham so I don't have much to compare against in the area, but overall not a bad experience and I'll give it another try. read more

Good guys, great pizza. Always like going there for food. Don't get a chance to go very often unfortunately but have never had a bad slice or sub there. The guys are always friendly & pleasant. Prices are reasonable & the food is consistent. read more

Food is great no doubt doesn't make up for the fact that they are absolutely disrespectful to customers, I don't know about anybody else, but any place that I've worked greeting the customer with a friendly tone and just common decency was a requirement. I don't understand how anybody could keep going back to a place where they are treated like absolute shit even on the phone when placing orders they are very sure and have a rude tone. I don't know if they hate their jobs. hate people or have something going on in their lives, but they shouldn't be running a business. That's how they treat people. It's ridiculous. read more

I don't know why anyone is willing to go back to a place where customers are treated with such disdain. I hate this place, and the pizza is definitely overrated. We go to Francos in Sudbury for quality pizza. Rossini's is also good. read more

Best pizza and calzone anywhere in Metrowest. Have to go back to try more options. Very extensive menu!

This Place is the best small pizza and sub shop in Massachusetts When you first drive up you will see this small pizza restaurant next to a donut shop in a small plaza but the food will be worth the wait they have everything you could put on a pizza as well as subs I usually get the steak and cheese. and when you bit into it you get the juiciness from the meat and a bunch of gooey American cheese and it is all in a soft roll and it all comes together like a big hug So if you see this sub shop when you walking for driving stop in because you won't regret it read more

These sandwiches are remarkably delicious and bountiful. They're thick and stuffed with fresh ingredients and there have been days when I cannot finish eating the whole sandwich in one sitting. It's advisable to call ahead. read more

Best pizza, subs and salads around the area. We order to go, delivery and have ate in. Italian, Chicken Parm and Meatballs subs are great. Pizza is Italian style thin crust but not too thin. All toppings are fresh and everything seems homemade. Their service has always been great with me. I can't forget to mention that it's Cash Only but they have an ATM on-site. If you're in the area, definitely worthy of a stop. read more

Excellent food! Variety and quality! Cash only and closed on Monday. The meatballs are delicious. The Sicilian pizza is the best around. Chicken saltimboca pizza is outstanding! read more

Went for a late lunch. Had the Italian sub with everything and a slice of Sicilian. The food was out immediately and was perfect. A lot of regulars were coming in for takeout and everybody seemed very happy with what they were getting. I would say it was really good and enjoyed it a lot and will definitely be back. read more

Good pizza..but the atmosphere is terrible reminds me of that Seinfeld episode "No Soup for you!"

Good pizza. However The individual slices are much smaller than other pizza shops. Usually a "slice pie" is cut into 6 pieces instead of 8.

Best pizza in MA! My favorite Buffalo pizza! Kids cheese and pepperoni pizza. Aannnnd their gourmet cookies :)

Cash only, old school pizza place. Their sicilian pizza is outstanding. Perfect texture and tasty crust with a good helping of toppings and a good sauce, too. We picked it up on Friday, and the place was packed. Definitely all business in trying to expedite orders. Worth the drive to get it. They know how to make an excellent pizza. read more

My niece from U Mich came to visit yesterday. We thought about getting a Sicilian pizza from Gianni's, but she noticed chicken scampi on the menu. We both like scampi sauce, mushrooms and garlic. So we ordered two with mushrooms and extra garlic. She chose one with ziti, I chose spaghetti. She was so impressed with the food and the size of the meal. Her reaction was "I wish we had a place this good in Michigan!" Thanks Gianni's for the great food! read more

Our favorite pizza place!! Consistently delicious, fresh, good quality food. I read some of the recent reviews and couldn't believe people would go out of their way to give a poor rating when nothing bad ever happened... Does someone greet you with a giant smile and kiss your butt when you walk in the door or call... no, BUT who cares? They are constantly busy, packed with guys in a small space surrounded by a hot oven, perfectly preparing a crap ton of orders a day! If you actually engage the employees in conversation or ask a question they are NEVER rude in any way, just may not be overly friendly. But after ordering from them for 5 years it's become comical and... enjoyable? Like I said, consistently delicious food! So stop being so sensitive and appreciate that their food speaks for itself so the employees don't have to! read more

Gianni's Pizza & Subs - Chicken tenders.... BEST EVER! My fav! - Pizza Near Me - Framingham, Massachusetts

We went in for slices. We were starving and we heard they had good pizza. We're from NY and can never find great pizza around here!! The guy handed me the box of slices and I could tell right away they were not hot, he had not even heated them up in the oven! When I told him they were not hot, he snapped back "They're warm -they were under the heat lamp!" We ate in the car and they were barely lukewarm. And...here's what our Sicilian slice looked like. Very disappointing! Hoping we just hit it on a bad day. read more

Got take out for lunch. A calzone. When I get takeout it really ticks me off when I'm not given silverware napkins etc. To make it worse, the calzone wasn't cut all the way through. So I'm sitting in my office looking for begging for some plastic silverware. Since I can't eat the thing whole. Pet peeve #2 - they didn't give me marinara dipping sauce. I assumed it was in the box. It wasn't. Beyond that - the calzone tasted fine. It was a lot of food for $11. I will get 3 meals out of it. I will get takeout here again. read more

Tough review, the pizza is ALWAYS so good I actually drive there from Dedham and usually stop by when driving anywhere close to them but the other reviews are spot on. Great pizza but the atmosphere here is brutal, so tense, I feel like I'm two mozzarella sticks away from a fistfight. Every time I leave here I'm pissed and wonder if the pizza is worth the disrespect given by this owners. Too bad, I'm not sure if they hate people, each other, themselves or their jobs but holy crap what baggage. Think I'm done. I've even brought my family with me and they still treat you like shit. Goodbye. read more

Very good pizza and food in general no doubt. A bit overrated to me overall(they always win the local awards for best pizza) Used to live across the street but we chose to go elsewhere for 3 reasons. 1) they didn't take credit cards (maybe they do now I don't know). 2) pricing adds up. Spending $60 for 2 pizzas and an app gets a little much. 3) a couple of the employees or owners not sure have really bad attitudes and act like you are inconveniencing them when you walk in the door. Drive down the street to Liberty Famous read more

My first EVER review on Yelp, but I just can't help it, we're mad! The school where I work orders frequently (almost weekly) from Gianni's, with at least several subs/pizzas/drinks, or more, if we are providing lunch for our students here. The food is usually above average, with an occasional "miss". It's not the food that is our problem as much as the toxic environment! Today, there was no delivery driver, and one of our staff went to pick up the order (four subs and a drink). Unfortunately, she was two dollars and fifty cents short- after the person on the phone said it would be "34 and change"- (she had been given $35.00). The owners/workers proceeded to argue with her about the amount of times we order, (not "regulars"?!?) As Gianni's doesn't take anything but cash- they begrudgingly said "bring in the $2.50 next time". These people are always rude, speaking back, never a thank you, smile or kind word. The only reason we go there is it is close to our school. my suggestion: GO TO CENTRE PIZZA! Farther away but the people there are so much nicer to deal with - friendly, smiling, so nice!!!! read more
