I find the food here edible, but my husband hates it. We compromise occasionally, however I will not longer patronize them after my most recent delivery experience. Have ordered here twice and had food delivered to work for a group of us. Service is super speedy and I'm talking like we order and have food within 20 minutes!!! Also, everything we have ordered both times has been excellent. ** Raviolis are HUGE and come with a full size garlic bread. ** Shrimp Quesadilla was delicious ... had peppers and fresh salsa already added to it. Came with black beans and rice, fresh salsa and sour cream for dipping. ** tacos surprisingly good too! Get the chicken. ** Spaghetti and meatballs + too! Foods good and reasonably priced.Ordered a large buffalo chicken calzone and it was under 25.00 and they included two cups of blue cheese when most places only include one.Delivery is a bit fickle with them.It seems like they have a large customer base and deliver over a wide range with only a few drivers because it can sometimes take quite awhile for them to get to you although they delivered right on time for me tonight.Didn't go inside the shop so I didn't get to see what it was like inside but it's a small shop.If I had to change one thing I'd suggest for them to use a thicker,chunkier blue cheese dressing rather than a thin dipping sauce.The flavor is better! read more

Passable pizza. Nothing much to it. Good for kids because it's relatively bland but adults should look elsewhere. Amazing can stay in business with 3 other shops surrounding it. Being only one open on Sunday probably helps. Sauce is very acidic without any real flavor so avoid the red sauce subs as well. Wellesley North End a couple doors down is a MUCH better pie. Mark's for subs. Again, if you NEED to have Pizza you could do worse. One tip. Do NOT order their signature "rare" roast beef. Cook's Window is not bad. I would order from here again. We place our order online they accept credit cards. In our order we had 1 Meatball wrap. it was just OK and was kind of small compared to other similar places. My wife had the Mac & Cheese Burger she loved it. I ordered the Steak & Chicken Tip combo dinner with salad & onion rings. The pink sauce they use on their chicken tips is very sweet kinda to sweet. The Steak tips were awesome my only gripe is I wish there were more. The Salad dressing was incredible must have been made in house. Sadly I believe the onion rings & fries were frozen they should have been handmade for food of this quality. The service was very good. I had accidentally ordered something extra a nice man called me to ask about it. The Delivery man actually delivered our food to our door. when most places in my area make you come out to the car and get it.. Overall a pretty good first experience. read more

This place is amazing. Delivery within 45 minutes. Got all my kids their own dinner and they loved it so much they ended up stealing pieces of mine. My first trip here was a disaster, and after getting a very genuine, heartfelt message from the owner (Dimitri), I decided to give it another try. I am really glad I did. The pizza was far better (an excellent rendition of buffalo chicken), and I got to meet Dimitri (who is a super nice, hard working guy). I recommend this place without reservation. These reviews on here are petty. Half of them are people crying about late delivery times from a 3rd party. Cooks makes good food. Great variety for a pizza shop. Their pizzas are hand tossed thin crust. Love the margarita. Steak bomb pizza also delicious. Nice thin crust, good reheat factor if you have leftovers. The roast beef is also solid. Go with the super 3 way (sauce cheese mayo). Fries are great too. Good apps, mozzarella sticks etc. Overall really solid local delivery place. read more

Cooks has always been our "go to" for pizza take out (we LOVE the Thin Crust Fenway Sausage Pizza and the Honey Buffalo Chicken) and now highly recommend them for a catered meal of meatballs with sauce and green salad with chicken and fresh baked bread. I had a just awful undercooked-crusted pizza that had a larger volume of grease than Giannis Antetokounmpo. It was 12 dollars. My stomach is in a deep pain that I hope to soon get out of. Not one of the staff said a word to me as I was leaving, not a simple "take care" or "thanks". We have been loyal customers of Cook's since it came to Wellesley. We have ordered every Friday night. In the past six months, the food and delivery have seriously suffered. One night, the delivery driver knew the order was incorrect and was going to leave it on our porch and not even ring the doorbell. We opened the door as he was walking away and told him it wasn't what we ordered. Reluctantly, he took it back and brought us our order which still wasn't correct, but we ate it anyways, because it was already 1 1/2 hours late. Another delivery had one pizza correct and another incorrect. They did return with the correct second pizza later, but we already ate because once again, it was so late. Tonight, they called us after an hour and told us they delivered our order to someone else and would have our order within 1/2 hour. We asked that it at least be hot this time. Two hours later, we received our cold pizza. Their food used to be so good, but lately, it's been awful...possibly because it's so cold when we finally get it. Very upbeat and friendly staff. I was surprised to see positive attitudes during rush hour lunch. The first time I went it was apparent that there are "regulars" who keep coming back for more. I have ordered the chicken Caesar wrap; I will get again. It is not doused with dressing and it is just the right amount of chicken! I will come here more for their wraps. The pizza looks good and not outrageously priced. There is seating here. It is not a "glamorous" lunch spot, but perfect for a quick bite to eat. I've ordered from Cook's before and the food is good but tonight is enough to make me never order from them again. I placed my order online at 8:50pm for delivery. It said delivery would be 35-45 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes I called at 10pm to ask about the order, and I was told oh sorry we only have 1 driver but your food is on the way. At 10:40pm the food was still not delivered. I called but of course there was no pickup since they close at 10pm. 2 minutes ago our food arrived cold as a frozen dinner. What poor customer service if you only have one driver, have the courtesy to call customers and state it will be longer And to send cold food is even worse. Best pizza in Wellesley. Their burritos are also the best. They have tons of options and you can see them making the food fresh. The owner and staff are very kind and engaging and they are open on sundays. They play football games and big events on the TV inside and the overall atmosphere is very nice.
