In less than two hours, I left with the car I wanted, for the price I wanted, which was the price advertised online. There was no back and forth, no haggling, no "extra fees," and no stress. My sales guy's name is Manny Huerta and he was awesome. He treated my daughters and me like friends, never divided his attention with anyone else, encouraged me to "really drive the car" during my test drive, and much more. In addition, Alex the C.O.O. and Rick the General Manager passed by and made sure things were going smoothly and asked if there was anything they could do to make my experience better. Obviously, there has been a shift towards optimum customer service at this dealer. The negative posts are quite old and I assure you Brickell Motors will exceed your car shopping expectations! Nothing makes me madder than when a service center tries to rip me off because I'm a woman and they assume I don't know anything about servicing cars. I took my CRV in because I was having problems with the AC unit, and was fairly sure the compressor had failed. I called the night before and was able to get a 7am appointment to drop it off. Excellent. When I dropped it off, the service rep was friendly and personable and said he would do the best he could for me because of the holiday season. Excellent. Here's where things stopped being excellent. I had to pay a $133 diagnostic fee. When the service rep called me to give me the estimate, he started by asking how I knew the AC compressor had failed, did I have it checked out somewhere else? No. I'm an intelligent adult, I know what a bad AC compressor sounds like. I expected to be told to fix everything would be about $2000-$2200. Imagine my surprise when he said it would be $4200 to fix. Double. Double the cost of what it should be because they told me I needed to replace 6-7 different parts, and the labor alone would be $2000 of it. I immediately took my car from the Honda service center and took it to another shop. The people there looked at it, informed me that instead of replacing some of the parts, he could just clean them and they would be like new. In total, he could do everything for $1500. I really hate when service centers over charge and try and take advantage of people. They got me for the diagnostic fee (which, FYI the $133 did not include tax). But I'll never return. Review for Service Center. Took my civic here for simply an oil change. Arrived and was promptly assisted with registration. The assistant told me it will be 90 minutes for my car to be serviced. The price of the oil change was $40.00. The service took over 2.5 hours. When I went to the cashier to pay, the price jumped to $52.20. The cashier quickly explains that only the price of the oil and labor is $40. However they charge for tax, filter, washers, tablets (not even sure what these are) and tax. Perhaps this is how they do it here, where they charge for shop fees. However, I've been to many other Honda dealers service centers where the price of the oil change service is all inclusive except for tax. Also, never had I ever had to wait 2.5 hours for an oil change. I checked my oil and so far it looks like new oil. Drove home without problems. I was surprised they didn't share any othe recommendations for repairs. Usually at other dealers, complimentary recommendations regarding wipers, tires, etc are given. This place can do better. Izzy is a great Service Advisor, and so is Carlos the Manager. Brought my car in for the mandatory airbag fix, it was quite quick while having lunch nearby. Although the airbags were replaced, I tested all functions of my car and found the air conditioning cabin fan underneath the passenger side making a deep humming sound that was not there before. Both Izzy and Carlos coordinated with the technicians, I demonstrated the humming sound not there before. They promptly took the vehicle in the back for inspection and found an old receipt had fallen out of the glove box and into the air-intake of the blower fan. Must have occurred when they disassembled my dash for the airbag repairs. Thanks guys! Note to customers: Always check your car all around inside and out before leaving any dealership, repair shop, or while using valet! read more

If i could give them negative stars I would. Every experience I've had with Brickell Honda has been a horrible experience. They have shown time after time again that they are incompetent liars. I wish I never bought my car here so I wouldn't have to deal with their constant bullshitting. I got my car refinanced and I went to get my gap insurance check. I spoke with Gilbert because he is the finance guy. I didn't know much about the process of because Ive never refinanced a car and he took advantage of that. However, he basically dug his own grave. He told me that I had to bring another gap insurance document which the finance manager should have given me when I bought my car. I told him that I don't think I ever got one. And he said that if they were a good company, they would be honest and tell you that you are paying for additional gap insurance, but if they are shady, they usually lump in the price without telling the buyer. I proceeded to tell him that I bought the car with Brickell Honda. That was when things turned around. He started being not so friendly. I asked that since I bought my car there, shouldn't they have a record for me? I was surprised that I had to even ask the question because he should know better to tell me that they had my record. Basically, he was trying to rush me out of his office before I realized his scheme. He said that he would contact the accountant to look up my record, but I highly doubt he did. I told him to call me when he processed the papers so that I would know. A week goes by, and I don't get a call. I call his cell number he gives me and someone who sounds just like him told me that it was the wrong number. I call again and it goes straight to voicemail which said, this is gilbert, leave a message. That was when I knew he was trying to avoid me. Today, another week later, I called again. The same thing happened. The person who picked up said he was not gilbert. He also sounded nervous. I called maybe 4 more times, each time going to voicemail that said this is gilbert, leave a message. Finally at the 5th time, he picks up. I told him who I was and that I was calling about that gap. And he said he processed the papers a week ago (ok, then why did I not receive a call?). He proceeded to rush me off the phone by telling me to contact the accountant. I asked for the extension, he said he didn't know. Of course he knew. Basically, this guy is a liar. They never told me that I bought their gap insurance and now that I can get it back, they are doing everything they can to make it difficult for me. I can go on and on. My first experience with buying the car was unpleasant as well as the salesman left my drivers license in the copy machine. He wouldn't answer my calls when I asked for it back, and made me drive all the way back (i live maybe an hour away) to wait yet another hour until he got out of a meeting to get my ID back without an apology. Also, my first time getting my car serviced there, the mechanic took my keys off and kept it in his desk drawer. There was no need for me to reach and grab my keys because he ignition was already on when I got back in my car. I get a call after I get home that he forgot to give me the rest of my keys. To sum up, Brickell Honda is unprofessional, they are liars, and are incompetent. read more

I regret buying a car from this dealership and would not recommend them to anyone. While the sales associate was a nice guy who seemed to care it became clear to me in time that this dealership is filled with a bunch of people who will just tell you what they think you want to hear, will flat out lie to you, and then go out of their way to avoid you if there are any issues once the sale is complete. I have been nothing but professional and courteous with them during and after I bought a used vehicle from them in Oct 2013. Prior to the sale I asked for specific maintenance and inspections to be performed on the vehicle I was looking to purchase. Each time I was told the maintenance and inspections were complete. Upon taking delivery of the vehicle it was clear that my requests were not taken seriously. It was then realized that after I paid for the car they actually left off the deposit I put down so in essence I ended up paying that twice. Since I live in Massachusetts and bought this vehicle while on a business trip I have tried to recoup the deposit and get some of the maintenance concerns addressed via email and certified postal mail. All of my attempts to get in contact with anyone have not been answered; I have also sent text messages and called the associates, no one calls me back. I am considering my legal options at this point, but it is clear to me these people could care less about you either before or after the sale. Be careful here. read more

Waited too long to received my license plate, and few days ago I went to my first oil change. "Maria" from oil change / service department thinks that she is the only person who can read and speak the English, too bad. I know how to read an agreement and please do not lie about what I am reading. If someone ask for a cleaning service when is asking for an oil change, PLEASE BE COURTEOUS, do not lie or blame other people or assume things, an advice always try to help the customer. The guy, Gabriel, spent 30 mins begging me to "come into the dealer for their best offer..." Even after I repeatedly told him I would not go in unless he was able to provide me with an offer that was more attractive than I had. I was very transparent but he kept pulling out worn-out, old-car dealer tactics. Including trying to confuse numbers. He called me back only to insist that I go in to talk to the general manager. My husband and I just moved to Miami Beach from NYC. We haven't had to drive in twenty years and so are unfamiliar with the newer car features. We walked in and were immediately taken care of by Rolondo. He was fabulous! He listened to what we thought we wanted, then showed us a floor model of another model and then we went out and checked out the car model we eventually leased. Rolondo was extremely patient and low-key. He took the time to explain all the new features and even some of the older, standard ones that I couldn't quite remember after all these years. He never made me feel that I was asking a dumb question and at times went over the same thing several times. We went out for a short test drive and then came back to start the paperwork. He also took the time to look up the deal I'd found on their website to make sure we were getting the best leasing price. We had intended to shop around, but ended up feeling very comfortable with Rolondo and Brickell Honda. The process takes a long time; for us it took over three hours, but I'm pretty sure that it couldn't have been done much faster anywhere else. I also need to mention that Sam in Finance was also great as was Geraldine, the insurance agent they work with. The best part is that instead of having to make a special trip back to Brickell from South Beach is that they delivered the car to our door the next day. All in all, I found everyone to be extremely professional, helpful and friendly. read more

Let me start off by saying that buying/leasing an new car is never a pleasant experience. It takes a ridiculous amount of time, and I end up dreading to go all together. I decided to try my luck on 'Black Friday' as I was coming close to going over my miles, and needed a solution ASAP. I was helped by Mario (the Italian) and it was frankly the best experience I've had yet. I was able to take care of the miles situation, and get a brand new car in less than 3 hours. Also, within 4 days with less than 100 miles I got a flat. After speaking to Mario and the service adviser Izzy, they were able to handle the flat- at no charge to me! I'm pleased with their service this far, and I'm just sorry to hear about others who've had a crappy experience. If you're looking to get a new car, I'd recommend Brickell Honda and specifically working with Mario to get it done. When you want to service your car, Izzy is your man. read more

You can't go for service here without the "technician" trying to scare you into fixing 100 other things with your car that they now tell you have to be fixed immediately or your car will fall apart. It's disgusting. Also, don't listen to verbal price quotes. When you sign out they will tack on an extra $50-$60 in "shop fees" that they neglected to mention before. Run, don't walk away, from this place. I have had nothing but great experiences when visiting this Honda dealership! Back in 2010, someone hit my car and they were able to fix it rather quickly for the type of things that were needed. They even gave me a ride to where I needed to pick up my rental car and picked me up when it was all done. They were extremely amicable then, and have been ever since. Since then, I have changed to a Civic and go to Brickell Honda for all my service needs. Before finding them, I always thought that the dealer would OVERCHARGE me for anything I needed. However, what I've found is that they actually charge LESS! My great experiences have been thanks to the amazing customer service from Samuel Vidal, a comfortable waiting area (including wifi and computer - I get all my work done here while waiting!) and the price is JUST right :) I will be returning! They will lie and say anything to get your business. Have had this feeling after 3 different times using this service center in the last year and a half. I gave them two stars for the fact that they did have a valet service i which they pick up and drop off the vehicle after servicing. However as I explained to them, the reason I am using this service is because I am in all day meetings. I got 5 calls all morning to confirm the service I booked the day before. I had already confirmed the service manager. She told me they would clean my vehicle, cover the seat, and take precautions. This was the case with pick but of course the delivery driver had no gloves or protection. Costs quoted was also different than what they charged. Car was dirty. I'm not taking my car to this dealership NEVER again. The last time I took my car here, they parked my car in a public street parking and as a result my car got a parking CITATION. At the moment I came back to pay and pick up my car, no one told me anything about it. Thanks god my best friend invented an app that pays Parking Citations in Miami right after they appear in the system. If my car wouldn't have been subscribed to this app, the ticket goes to late fee and after late fee goes to court. In other words, I could have been in serious legal problems because a simple parking ticket that was not even my fault. I called to complain about it and the lady on the phone told me to come in so they can give me the money of my ticket. I came in to talk with any service manager and they introduced me to Curtis Thompson (Service Director). I explained to Mr. Thompson what happened to my car, and he was very indifferent about my problem. He basically told me that those things can happen and that he will issue a check and it would be ready in a week (for today Wednesday). He never apologized, nor showed any interest of helping me solve the problem. I was very surprised about the attitude he had towards me. I still wonder why a check takes a week to be ready. I came in today, Wednesday November 22nd (the day the check was supposed to be ready), and the check is not ready. Mr. Thompson told me that he doesn't sign checks so is not up to him. Again, not showing any interest on willing to help me. Very unprofessional. Clearly, this dealership doesn't value their costumers, nor take them serious. For this reason, I'm not taking my car here never again. Sucks because it is the closest to where I live, but I won't mind driving a lil more to do my car service. read more

I recently bought a car from Brickell Honda. It will benefit you to get internet pricing from dealers in the area to compare rates (which Brickell will likely match). You do need to watch them every step of the way and compare all rates (tax, dealer fees, electronic registration, tags, etc.) with others or else that good internet rate will be wasted. We really liked our salesman 'Roly M.'. He was very pleasant to deal with and kept us motivated and interested without bothering us with a hard sell. Also liked Carlos S. as a finance manager. We had a different finance manager before meeting Carlos who was very difficult to deal with that we refused to work with due his belligerent demeanor. I'm not sure if we were unlucky and they were just very busy, or this is a tactic, but we had to wait around 3 hours the first time we were ready to sit down to buy the car, and about 2 the next. Maybe someone else can chime in about their experience with this. Brickell has a promotion where you get a booklet of service coupons with the purchase of the car. I don't remember the details, but I think it includes oil changes for the first few years and things like that. The booklet is mailed to you about a month after you purchase (haven't received mine yet). This is a really great incentive to purchase from Brickell. The last time I bought a car I only received a single free oil change. On the other hand, they do have some bait & switch advertising which is a bit despicable. Right now they have an advertisement where their management team promises an Apple iPad with each new car bought at Brickell. In fact, the exact quote from the owner, Mario Murgado, is, "Buy any new Honda at Brickell and get a free Apple iPad." The ad doesn't have any fine print/disclaimer but when I bought the car they basically told me that they couldn't follow through with the iPad offer as they were matching an internet price. I've been a customer of Brickell Honda for about 3 years. Pros: -Coupons are emailed to you for services such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. The prices with a coupon are reasonable. -It's convenient to drop off your car and have the shuttle van pick you up if you live nearby. -Estimated wait times are pretty accurate and you have access to computers, coffee and TV in the waiting area. -Most service guys are nice and professional. Ismael has recently taken care of most of our car issues. Cons: -If you have an early Saturday appointment they make everyone wait by their car until a service person opens up. The morning I arrived it was cold and they wouldn't let anyone inside the waiting area to wait until they were called. Multiple service and sales employees witnessed this and did nothing. This is nuts! Brickell Honda needs to invest in a number system so that when a person arrives they get assigned a number and then can wait comfortably until they're called. Or they need to honor appointments and not treat it as a first come, first service operation. -Parking for those dropping you off or picking you up is very difficult, if any. -Prices without coupons, recalls, etc are very pricey. read more

As luck would have it I was actualy greated at the front door by Rick Barraza the General Manager as he was walking out with a client. Rick introduced me to Renner our salesman. I will NEVER come here again! I made an appointment for 7:00 to get minor maintenance done and did not leave until almost 10:00! Over priced for services. Staff was not very friendly, especially for a first time customer. I asked when my car would be ready after an hour and a half and was told it was almost finished. An hour later, I am still sitting here when people who came in hours after me have gone. No updates on what was taking so long. I came in to service my 2008 civic on Saturday. Great service from the moment I drove up! Ismael Acosta was my service advisor was extremely helpful and honest. I thought I was really going to get my problems solved with my car. His customer service was exceptional! He was patient gave me options and time to think things over. Long story short I decided to take a look at some cars because I knew I was in need of an upgrade! Again Brickell was very honest when it came down to servicing my car, so after just " looking " at cars I began looking into options for an upgrade. I knew without a doubt to to tow my car directly to brickell s service center wherein was met by service manager Michael ferrino. He was so attentive and genuine, and made this disastrous situation tolerable. Once my car was declared a total loss, mike introdu ed me to sales representative roly rodrigez. I told roly I didn't have time for hassle or run around. He quickly introduced me to financial advisor Carlos santos. Late last year I went through an emergency surgery putting me out of work for some time. Needless to say I was worried about the timing of the flood, and some credit discrepancies due to being out of work. But Carlos was able to get me in the car I wanted, for little money down and less a month than my last Honda. He got me the car when no other Honda dealership could...not even the largest one around. WORST PLACE TO TRADE IN, LEASE, OR BUY! I am not someone who had a lot of experience buying or leasing cars, but Brickell Motors sent me numerous unsolicited offers to match my cars value for a trade in. When I went, after owning my 2006 Honda for less than a year, they quoted me a price $5k below market - citing that a parking violation I had which caused no structural damage and did not even cause a scratch on my car was the reason and that "they would never be able to get a price higher than that" if they sold my car that had no issues wrong with it whatsoever. Almost 6 hours later, I was bullied into getting a lease although, by that time I said I no longer wanted to continue because I was in no way getting a deal based on the price they were giving me for my perfectly fine car (I was told I couldn't leave because we already started the transaction). I went to the financing department and their representative completely renegged on EVERY verbal agreement that the sales guy gave me to convince me to take the lease for a trade in. I was then told that I would make it up in the service, which they gave me all sorts of coupons to discount or comp altogether. Over the three years that I leased this Honda I have never once been able to schedule an appointment because their service center makes it impossible to do so. Additionally the two times when I did get an appointment for body work, I was quoted a prices 2 and 3 times the work that was done at a non-Honda, very reputable, mechanic. Bought a 2011 328i in November 2014 as "Certified". On my way home the entire dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree. I took the car back to them the next day and they sent me over to Braman BMW. Braman changed out a bunch of parts and everything was fine. I stayed suspicious and took the car to a shop.... gues what.... they found that the car had previously been crashed and that the Driver light and fender had been changed (manufactured date on light is 2012 on a 2011). In other words I payed extra to have a certified car which ended up being crashed... I don't recommend these guys to my WORST ENEMY. read more

I have been going to service advisor Izzy Molina for the past couple of years, and the quality of help I receive from him is beyond exceptional. Izzy is extremely helpful in every regard. He always makes sure that everything with my car is running well, and gives me honest advice as to what I need done to the car. He does a lot more than is required of him and for that reason, coming here is always a pleasant experience. When finally completed, the lease date was changed without our knowledge while they casually kept the original mileage the car had when it left the dealership. We noticed when we saw the bill on Honda Financial Services online. This obviously does not take into account the milage the car already had from two months of use, and how now I will be over the 12K/year when I turn it in. I've gone in person and called Brickel Honda multiple times to have this resolved. Still waiting on it. I will be contacting Corporate and then the Better Businesses Bureau. I can't believe a respected brand such as Honda would be so shady as to change the date on a lease deal and input our digital signatures as if we had signed on the date of their choosing with the miles of their choosing. read more

Brickell Honda service department is the finest I have known in my 30 years of experience going to dealers for service . They know how to treat the customer. I give it a thumbs up every time I go . This review is for the service department. I came in for my first oil change on my car that I bought new from Brickell Honda. They notified me there was also a recall that they would also fix while they also did the oil change. They estimated about 2 hours for the entire job to be done. I waited in the waiting area for about 3 hours. I am pretty reasonable and understand them taking a little bit of extra time if they are busy or something came up. I didn't mention anything. I had to leave pretty soon to go to class. Luckily, I budgeted enough extra time. But I mentioned to them at around the 3 hour mark to ask if they were close to being done since I had to leave to school fairly soon. They said it would be done soon. They were finally done around the 3 hour and 45 mark after 2 other notices that I really had to go or I would be late. The service department has very poor customer service. They didn't even once in the close to 4 hours I was there come by to me in the waiting area and say that they would take longer than expected or the estimated time had changed. I had to bring it up to them 3 times. I ignored the other poor reviews on here thinking they were just one time bad experiences, but I can say it is definitely a trend. I would not recommend the service department at Brickell Honda. read more
