Would highly recommend this auto repair shop. My daughter is a student at UM, and I needed her car (Benz) serviced. I live in NY, and found this repair shop on-line. I did my due diligence. Their positive reviews are well earned. I was able to get her car serviced quickly, efficiently, and most importantly professionally. Juan, a service advisor, was prompt in his responses, and very transparent. From someone who has great experience dealing with auto repairs (my father has had his repair shop in NY for over 50 years), this company is very knowledgeable, fair, and courteous to customers. 5 stars across the board!!! read more

German Car Care is the kind of place that makes you want to pull over after leaving and write a glowing review. I brought my car off for a diagnostic appointment about an issue I had, and an inkling that I may have some others as it's been a while since my last car appointment. Within a day I had a full report and a quote, and Juan worked with me to accommodate my need for a quick turnaround with multiple service needs, so I could have my car back in time for work. And just picking it up now, I can say they did an excellent job with such punctuality. Warm, professional, knowledgeable -- exactly what you want in a car specialist, especially having an older vehicle. Having just moved to Miami and looking for a new and reliable place to handle my car, I can definitely say I've found it; they'll have my business as long as I'm in Miami. read more

Professional, personable staff, excellent prompt and trustworthy service. Juan and Daniela are awesome. I took my Mini Cooper Clubman this morning and they resolved my malfunctioning sunroof issue promptly, checked my engine and filled my tires with air. I will be back whenever I need any work done on my car. Highly recommend this business. read more

Good effective service - much thanks TOOK Great care of my daughters care and service

Took my Mini in for an issue with the driver side window and rear view mirror. I was told by another shop that it was likely an electrical problem and would be expensive to repair. Juan took one look and immediately thought it would be a simple fix. He ordered the part on a Friday, called me the following Wednesday to let me know the part was in. I took it in that Friday and it was ready in just a few hours. Outstanding customer service all the way around. Grateful for Juan's knowledge and calm, kind demeanor. I highly recommend this business. read more

Said oil leak was coming from oil filter housing and replaced the gasket. Continued to have a slow leaked and brought the car in again and they said it was something else. Called and spoke to the head mechanic about the problem and he was very defensive. Took it to someone else and they said neither of those things were the cause of the leak. read more

I had an accident with a curb in my 340i that caused my front suspension to camber causing rubbing on my shock assembly. I do work on cars myself, and on my Honda, but not my BMW. I know a lot of friends in the industry|business and all recommended going to German Car Care. I also found out they were about a four minute drive from my job so this would be perfect. I spoke with Juan who always kept me up to date with my vehicle. I can attest this shop did not try and up sell or fake. I don't stand behind many car repair shops as I have hidden gems that service me as I've been in the industry for years... but German Car Care I would 10/10 highly recommend. I mean even the pricing wasn't bad, I was expecting worse being German. But most importantly, they gave me a timeline, and were prompt with updates! read more

German Car Care - F30 x 340 - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Coral Gables, Florida

As a first time customer, I was hesitant to trust another mechanic for my Audi. Juan was incredibly transparent with pricing, explained the reasoning each part and made me feel at ease. I agreed to something he later realized I didn't need and took it off my bill, which I would have never noticed. Completely trustworthy, high quality and reliable shop. They even are great communicators and do work on time. Cannot recommend enough! read more

The guy does not BS you or claim you need work you don't need. All we (customers) ask for is honesty and competency. Customers hate it when some shops (not here) see a nice car and think they have a better chance (or worse the right) to overbill you. Thanks - I'll be back. read more

They don't even pick up the phone. I had tried to book a car checkup but they seem very busy which I guess they are since they don't take a lot of attention to neither calls nor missed calls. Sorry. Not enough for a complete review but if you are reading this message and you call them and can't get to them in the phone consider this your red flag. Will be trying another nearby repair center and will post a full review. Good luck! read more

Hands down best European car repair shop in Miami. They are honest, reliable, and quick. Brought several of my cars here and keep coming back. Jack and Juan take care of you like no one else. Fair pricing and great workmanship. Bravo German Car Care! read more

My BMW needs work done frequently. This place takes care of me and my car well. Juan and Jack are the best.

Please be careful with this place,I took my car there for a check-up, I thought they were honest but I was wrong. The place is nice and clean, manager Juan didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis, grateful weeks later I took the vehicle to him because I had a coolant leak, I confidently took it home after the repair. Several days later I realized that the level was low. The color corresponded to the old blue coolant and not the one he had supposedly changed it and charged me 4 times the retail value. I returned to the garage and politely told him what was happening, suggesting it could be a mistake, possibly the mechanic forgot to change the liquid, and never complained about the cost, he became defensive, telling me it was obvious I was ignorant, he almost threw some bills at me telling me it was a way to reimburse me, that if I was insinuating he was a thief, I insisted that I only wanted him to verify if there could have been an error or confusion, he continued to raise his voice and offend me and I decided to leave. My conclusion is that he felt exposed and discovered in what were possibly irregular charges. I would never go back there, and I suggest anyone who goes compare and verify whether the diagnoses and work performed there are real. read more

brought my Audi in for its 60k mile service and honestly feel great bringing my car to them. Juan and the team really explain everything in detail and give you peace of mind while working on your car. Juan and the German Car Care team have provided the best auto service I have ever had, bar none. No dealer or indy shop compares. I have a 10 year old Audi, which I love. I discovered a leak and brought it in for repair. Also, I needed scheduled maintenance and I had to repair a couple of other niggling things. They took great care of my car, communicated very well (English and Spanish) and did it all for a very reasonable price. Many thanks to Juan and Jack. read more

So I'm driving home on a sunny day with the top down on my Mercedes Benz SLK, and all of a sudden it starts to rain. I push the button to close my retractable top and it doesn't close. I've seen this place 100's of times as I drive to work, but I've always thought they may be uptight and overly expensive. I decided, what the heck... I have no choice. I take my car and a man named Juan helped me right away. He was very friendly and seemed to be very knowledgeable, just by our short discussion. I had just gotten off of an overnight shift at the hospital and he offered to keep my car there, protect it from the rain and due to the fact that I sleep during the day, he allowed me to call him when I wake up. Once I called him, the price was slightly out of my budget, due to the fact that I'm a student and I also support my two younger siblings financially. This guy didn't know me from Adam, and he closed the top for me, offered to help me find parts from a less expensive site and he didn't even charge me. I probably shouldn't have said that part, but once I save up the money for the repairs, I'll definitely be going back to him. In today's society, it's hard to find someone who is genuinely nice. I didn't mention to him that I was a student and I didn't mention that I'm supporting not only myself, but my little brother and sister, so what he did helped me more than he will ever know! Juan, you've gained a customer for as long as I own this SLK. Thank you! read more

Jack was fantastic to work with! He and his team did a great job determining what the issue was with my daughter's car and then gave me a very fair price to do the repairs. I would strongly recommend German Car Care! read more

Read! Don't take your car here! My folks took their Mercedes sedan for AC trouble charged big $$$ back again and the trouble was never resolved. Like a dumb ass, I took my A4 there and they left all the bolts out and lost all the engine cover snaps, just threw it on top free-floating thinking I wasn't going back to make big Juan order new ones. The rear engine flange leaked again in less than three months. I did the job myself like I should have only took it there due to time constraints. Their so-called mechanics take shortcuts and half-assed arrangements to minimize time. Lastly: I saw big Juan in my trunk when I was picking up the car and couldn't figure out why until two days later when looking for a brand new expensive ratcheting screw driver. I know he snatched it because I hid it under a tool pouch before leaving the car there. Good Luck! read more

Juan Brugada is a genius. Looking for an honest and hard working mechanic for your car? Meet Juan and his talented team. If he cannot fix it- he'll find someone who can. He's 100% honest and dependable. Great place and I highly recommend this mechanic. read more

Service is definitely on the slide, the huge rotation of mechanics and lack of supervision means that there are lots of faulty repairs; worse, every time I take the car in (3-4 times) I get the sneaky suspicion that they plant something else. It used to be convenience, but I'll take my Bimmer now to an official shop; there is no price advantage either. Service down. Prices up. Client... OUT read more

I was a loyal customer for years. Service has gone downhill, even after letting them know I was having issues with their service. Had to take my cars elsewhere to fix damage they caused - on two cars! Stay away! Very sad when businesses deteriorate. read more

there aren't many qualified Porsche repair centers in Miami and this is the best that I have found. I had my car serviced three times from another shop for the same problem - I brought it to German and in the first visit they fixed what the other shop couldn't. The service manager gives you his cell phone and is available at all times. They came in under budget. read more

Wow, first post pretty much says what I want to say. Funny thing is I found out that they do some sketchy things. My window regulator broke on driver side door, and i got it replaced there. 8 months down the line it breaks again in my hometown, and the mechanic says it is a super old regulator that's been worn out. I've been there multiple times for other things, and the service is always LACKING, but today marked the last. AVOID THERE! SO expensive. read more

I have been bringing my Jetta to German Car Care for over a year. Jettas are high maintenance, so I have had to bring it in quite a few times. And the owner, Juan, is so nice and helpful. He has definitely gone above and beyond what I would expect. And I find him to be really trustworthy. German Car Care shares a parking lot with a Hertz, so it's easy to get a rental if you need a car while yours is being serviced - and you get a German Car Care discount. The costs are what you would expect from a specialty repair shop - but they are experts in German cars. read more

They were awesome, took me last minute as my brake pad light came on in the car. New brake pads reasonable price and great work!

When I arrived in Miami in Jan 2010, I had just found a job and did not know anyone. I needed service on my '04 Boxster and went to German Car Care. I heard many negative things about Miami businesses but had to trust someone. I met the manager Juan and he quoted a price for the needed service. In 2011, my car was flooded and the insurance company totaled it. I could not afford a new or used car and asked Juan what he could do. He called the insurance company and got a second opinion. The car was fixed, new computer, wiring, and whatever else it needed. It has run perfectly since. Most recently, I needed my 100k service, which included brakes. The work was done and my car runs as good today, with 118k miles, as it did when I bought it (new). So, three service calls, one for the major repair of my car being flooded and initially totaled by the insurance company. If not for Juan's intervention, my car would be history. A good guy and very professional. You may contact me if you like. read more

First time at German Car Care was last week when I had issues with Mercedes overheating. Juan and team throughly examined the car and diagnosed the problem within a few hours. I was very pleased with their attention to detail and excellent customer service and reasonable/affordable prices. They were able to repair the interior door handle at a fraction of what the dealer was asking. I highly recommend them and will definitely be bringing them my car for its scheduled service from now on. Also thank you for changing a burnt out lightbulb! read more

I've had great experiences here. I brought my car here after the dealership told me it needed $4k of work, and I wanted a second opinion. Juan looked at it, and found that only two of the 10 lines items actually needed to be addressed, and he got the work done quickly and for about 1/10 of the cost. I brought the car in again to have a couple of bulbs put in, and he didn't even charge me - just asked me to tip his guys. Great service, friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that they are super busy, so I can't always get my car back as fast as I want. read more

Great experience. Everything from customer service to quality craftsmanship. They inspected my car (1988 Porsche 944) thoroughly, clearly explained the work needed, the time it would take to complete, and the approximate cost. The work was done on time and on budget. When I picked up the car, it was running perfectly - it was even washed and cleaned inside. I highly recommend German Car Car to anyone who expects the best in quality car service. Great, great job. read more
