    The meat is still raw

My wife and I were heading home and decided to order for pickup at BRGRBELLY. We live in the area and have seen it but never ate there before. When I walked inside the restaurant, the atmosphere looked and felt great. The lady at the cash register was nice enough, and I picked up my order. We got home and cut the burgers in 2 and were shocked to see that they were still raw inside, both of them. I gotta say we are pretty disappointed and won't be ordering here again.

Ambiance is small burger joint with classic rock videos playing. Service is great. Appetizers were my absolute favorite. Our table had cheese curds, sweet potato tots and pickles. Burgers were good and unique. The fries were to die for.

will not be coming here again. I tried this place for the first time yesterday through DoorDash and thought it was great. We decided to come here again the next night; this time at the restaurant. The portions are huge and we had two big plates To take home By the end of our time. I asked for to go containers and the lady gave us these two tiny tiny take home containers that would not fit all of our food. When we asked for bigger Containers they said they did not have anymore. I was confused by this as the containers my DoorDash delivery came in the previous night were very different and much bigger. When I referred to those containers she told my boyfriend she had them but wouldn't know how to charge us for them. Then a couple minutes later she proceeded to tell us we must've not ordered from burger belly when I kept referring to the clear top and black bottom containers That came in my DoorDash order just last night. We spent about $55 bucks for 3 meals and couldn't take the majority of it home, including my 2 year old daughters uneaten dinner. When we were packing up to leave my daughter started crying and the lady had told us that we should go to take care of our daughter. I've worked at countless Of restaurants and bars As a server and hostess. I get people are busy. However, I think it's ridiculous and disappointing to spend money on these huge portions and then have to take them home in such an inconvenient way. We would've needed multiple of those tiny containers to take anything home. at the end of the day we wasted our money and time by coming here.

A must try burger spot. They were reasonably price for such a large portion. Both burgers were so juicy. The mushroom burger could have had more flavor but for the quality I'm not complaining. Would recommend this to anyone visiting. Definitely a place that needs more recognition. A hole in the wall of the city. Street parking though and it's a small business as well

Honestly, the burgers all tasted the same and my table had 4 different ones. They were good. There wasn't distinct flavors I could taste from each of the burgers although the menu touted a list of distinct burger creations. That was disappointing. A free cookie came with the burger. The servers were nice and attentive too. The restaurant was decorated nicely with rock and roll themed pictures. I just think the food was a bit too pricey for the quality.

The food was good but I think I ordered the wrong thing. I was hoping my burger would be spicier (and was told it's the spiciest on the menu), but thank goodness they have a whole selection of hot sauces to choose from. I ordered my burger medium, but it came way too pink for my preference. The garlic parm fries are delicious! The service was really good; we had a very nice cashier who helped us with the menu. I love that they had trivia cards on the tables - it gave me and my husband something to do while we waited for our food, which didn't take long, but maybe it should've taken a little longer so the burger was cooked to the right temp lol. I'd go back but my lesson learned is to probably ask for my burger medium well next time!

Absolutely adorable decor as you step into this neighborhood local joint, filled with music legend memorabilia and tv's lit with tunes from Queen. The menu is simple with each burger having its own personality. Each sandwich can be made into a chicken sandwich or a meatless veggie option as well. Had the curds and Parmesan fries on the side. Cute trivia cards to entertain you and your table guests. Was excellent quality food, and wonderfully friendly service.

OK. OK. OK. I know you guys are expecting a taco review, but these burgers are off the chain! They were cooked on sunshine and sprinkled with happy thoughts and unbroken promises. I don't know how these guys consistently make burgers that taste like unicorns, and twinkle stars. But they do it. And the person who took our order must bathe in feathers and tickles, because she was wonderfully peppy. Their beer selection is great and no matter how picky you taste is you will find something you like. And I don't know where the cookie came from but holy smokes that was a good cookie! Now excuse me while I go run 3 1/2 miles to work off of some of this food. P.S.burgers may contain pork so check before consuming. P S.S I didn't take any pictures, I was so freaking hungry. The pictures were an afterthought, but they looks a lot like these...

Definitely the best place to get great cheese curds within walking distance in Portage Park! The breading is a good consistency, not too bread-like, more like a beer batter hybrid. Their burgers are good too, VERY fresh patties. You can totally tell they grind their own meat, but in a good way. The menu burgers all have unique flavor combos, but everything I've tried is delicious. Bonus points because they have boozy milkshakes on the menu!

Their fries are good, and actually stand out more than the burger. Everything is overpriced. I don't know why people complain about the wait; do some research like a responsible adult. I never just walk into a place and expect to be immediately seated, I call first - like anyone who has some sense. If they tell you the wait is 2 hours and you have 2 hours to kill, there are a bunch of bars in the area where you can have some drinks and an appetizer (and not feel like you're stiffing Au Cheval; they're the ones with the 2 hour wait, what do they expect people to do?) Not much to say about the decor or ambience; it's a typically loud West Loop bar with mostly 20 - 30 somethings all trying to one-up each other with their trendiness that instead makes them all basically clones of each other. It is crowded, and you're a moron if you think any place like this is suitable for your 5 year old. That's not the restaurant's fault - it's not Chuck E Cheese. Often I wish Yelp offered a 1/2 star option, because there are places that are a 4.5 or a 3.5. Not in this case. 3 stars is spot-on.

Stacked unapologetically high, this burger is everything you want and more: juicy, perfectly seared patties layered with melty cheese, crispy bacon, and those golden, crunchy fried onions that take it completely over the top. Every bite is rich, savory, and just messy enough to remind you you're eating something seriously good. The toasted bun somehow holds it all together (barely), soaking up every bit of flavor without getting lost in the chaos. And then... the shoestring fries. Thin, crispy, golden perfection--light but addictive, with that ideal crunch that makes it impossible to stop at just one (or ten). They're the kind of fries you keep reaching for without even realizing it, especially dipped in that creamy, tangy sauce on the side. And let's not forget the drinks--just as good as the food. Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and the kind you sip slow while taking it all in (but somehow they disappear way too fast). It's not just a burger--it's one of Chicago's most iconic bites for a reason. Bold, indulgent, and absolutely worth every single napkin you'll need after. The ambiance inside is GORGEOUS!

My husband got the burger with fried onions and I got some Bao because those also looked delicious and were a popular menu item. Honestly the 3 stars are only that high because of the service. Our server was friendly and attentive + the food came out hot and quick. Unfortunately, the food was pretty disappointing. The burger was swimming in a puddle of grease and just picking it up made your hands greasy + was dripping grease. The fries that came with it were floppy, soggy, and sad...but at least warm? I personally wouldn't order this again. The Bao were better, but small for the price and honestly were just okay? It was nice they gave you sauces you could add, but I found the Bao's to already have enough sauce so I didn't need them. Overall I left feeling confused and disappointed. I don't feel the need to come back here - Little Bad Will was a one and done experience for me.
