Wow, absolutely delicious!! I got the June burger of the month, it comes with havarti cheese, bacon, blueberry compote, & aoli sauce. It was so juicy, the bun was toasted nicely, and the blueberry compote gives the perfect sweetness to the burger. The fries were very good too, nice and crispy! The chocolate milkshake is delicious, it's made with chocolate icecream, so it's super chocolatey. Service was wonderful, easy, and our orders were correct. We sat outside, seating was abundant, and overall a perfect experience. We will recommend this place to family & friends for sure! read more

I've always seen this spot in my Facebook feed and today I was close enough to give them a try. I'm so glad I did. I walked in and was greeted by a very nice lady behind the counter. After looking over the menu, I had it narrowed down to a couple of burgers, then the lady told me about the Burger of the Month named "Good Night Irene" which has a panko breaded crab cake with pico de gallo and a spicy remoulade on top of half pound in-house chuck and pork belly blend burger patty. Thats all I needed to hear, so I order the burger and the garlic Parmesan fries. While I waited for my food, I noticed how cool the place was. Rock and Roll memorabilia all through the restaurant. They had a Heart concert playing on the screens. Even the bathroom had rock and roll quotes on the walls. I received my food and after the first bite I was in burger nirvana. The crab cake was crisp and seasoned well. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium. They combined for one hell of a delicious bite. The remoulade and pico de gallo had a nice zip that pulled the entire burger together. The garlic Parmesan fries were crisp and fluffy with just the right amount of garlic and Parmesan. My food also came with a delicious Almost Famous butter cookie. It would have been awesome with a milkshake. They have milkshakes on the menu, but I didn't order one. At the end of my meal I had to tell the gentleman behind the counter that it was an awesome burger. All in all, great burger, great service, great music and a great vibe. The flavor was bold, the chicken was juicy, and the crispiness was exactly what you want in every bite. They've mastered balancing texture and taste, especially with the pimento cheese, Cajun aioli, and bacon! YUMMMMM! My husband also enjoyed his food because he ordered the Leadbelly Burger ($10.95), but then added grilled onions and bacon onto it for $1.95 each. What stood out was the atmosphere. The walls are covered with rockstar photos and they play good music. They also have music trivia cards on each table so you can play with your friends/family. It felt like stepping into a tribute to rock and roll while enjoying some excellent food. Whether you're a music lover or just someone looking for a unique dining experience, this place delivers on all fronts. The service was also fantastic because the workers were friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu! Honestly, the burgers all tasted the same and my table had 4 different ones. They were good. There wasn't distinct flavors I could taste from each of the burgers although the menu touted a list of distinct burger creations. That was disappointing. A free cookie came with the burger. I asked for to go containers and the lady gave us these two tiny tiny take home containers that would not fit all of our food. When we asked for bigger Containers they said they did not have anymore. I was confused by this as the containers my DoorDash delivery came in the previous night were very different and much bigger. When I referred to those containers she told my boyfriend she had them but wouldn't know how to charge us for them. Then a couple minutes later she proceeded to tell us we must've not ordered from burger belly when I kept referring to the clear top and black bottom containers That came in my DoorDash order just last night. We spent about $55 bucks for 3 meals and couldn't take the majority of it home, including my 2 year old daughters uneaten dinner. When we were packing up to leave my daughter started crying and the lady had told us that we should go to take care of our daughter. I've worked at countless Of restaurants and bars As a server and hostess. I get people are busy. However, I think it's ridiculous and disappointing to spend money on these huge portions and then have to take them home in such an inconvenient way. Definitely the best place to get great cheese curds within walking distance in Portage Park! The breading is a good consistency, not too bread-like, more like a beer batter hybrid. Their burgers are good too, VERY fresh patties. You can totally tell they grind their own meat, but in a good way. Brgrbelly is within walking distance of my house, and has been my go to for a delicious burger in the Portage Park neighborhood for years. Hands down, one of my top 5 burgers of all time. All of their burgers contain smoked pork belly, and the buns are made in-house. If red meat isn't your thing they can substitute for a Beyond burger, or grilled or fried chicken. Brgrbelly is rock & roll themed with a small dining room, and patio seating when the weather is nice. They have a nice beer selection, and a rotating menu of spike shakes. I love the Black Betty burger, the House of the Rising Sun, and the Amazing Grace. The toppings are always plentiful, and my burger is always cooked exactly how I order it. Garlic parmesan fries are off the chain, so do yourself a favor and order them. They recently added more items to their menu, so I was excited to try their house made sriracha fried pickles, and they did not disappoint. So good, I almost didn't share. Each burger comes with a free butter cookie that is drizzled with chocolate. Eat it while you are there, so you can buy a jar and don't go home with regret. At the time they also had another location on Milwaukee Ave. I went here w/a couple of my co-workers for lunch. Unfortunately this location has closed and now the only location is the restaurant at 5739 Irving Park Road. They use to have lunch hours and lunch specials that I really loved. They offered a burger & fries for $9.95. Such an awesome deal. Now the only hours that they have are from 5-9 at the only store on Irving Park. They still offer the same amazing burgers & fries. This place is amazing! What a gem. I came here with my family on a Sunday afternoon. No issue getting a table and there was also room on the patio if we had wanted to sit outside. The space is small and inviting, with music memorabilia all over the walls. Two women were working there, one at the register and one in the kitchen. They were both so kind and helpful. And the food...THE FOOD!!! It was unbelievable. I had the special burger of the month, which was the Prosciutto Thrill. It was one of the best burgers I have had maybe in my whole life, cooked to perfection. Everyone else loved their food as well. I also tried the garlic butter bombs, garlicky white cheddar cheese curds, house fries, and garlic parm fries: all amazing. Boy oh boy, do I feel cheated!! Ordered the "Good Night Irene" which was supposed to be a burger topped with a crab cake but instead got what seemed to be a cold hash brown patty. Absolutely deceitful and quite embarrassing for me! The burger overall tasted mass produced, almost like something I would be served at Applebees or Cheesecake Factory. Nothing really made my burger stand out. The Polish fries were solid, however. Very generous amounts of sausage slices and sauerkraut. Could've used a little more of that horseradish aioli drizzled on top. The garlic butter bombs were ok, but could've been much better. Perhaps a warm, gooey cheese filling or something like that in the middle would make them more enjoyable. I believe the service took way too long for the quality of the burger I received. Everyone I interacted with was nice at least. Definitely a bar-esque atmosphere, except without the actual bar component. Like what's the point of having that sort of ambiance if there isn't really a full service bar? 1 star for the fries and another for the friendly service. Bottom line: won't plan on returning. They have rock artist photos throughout the restaurant and they also play rock concert video. Never been much of a rock fan, but the theme didn't bother me. Reminds of of Kumas a little bit. I ordered their Amazing Grace Burger, my wife ordered their Black Betty and we shared an order of their Garlic Parm Fries. The fries, were perfectly hand cut fries, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and tossed garlic. I've eaten garlic fries in Gilroy, garlic capital of the world, and If you want a real garlic experience that would be the place to get. I would have preferred a stronger garlic taste on the fries, because to be honest I could barely taste any garlic. Nonetheless they were still delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to order them again. I got a few bites off of my wife's black Betty. It came with smoked bacon, bleu cheese, buffalo bleu sauce and onion straws. A very tasty burger and very bleu cheesy burger. I'm not quite sure why I ordered their amazing grace burger, but I'm glad I did. Last time I ordered a bbq burger with onion straws at another place I didn't really enjoy it and I told myself I would stay away from bbq burgers. It sounded tasty on the menu, so I gave it a try. Staple in Portage Park!!! I've been here 3 times now and I've never been disappointed. Good looking restaurant with a nice ambiance and outdoor seating with lights. The inside has TVs and nice display of all their beers and other products. The first time I had BRGRBELLY was through delivery and I had the Amazing Grace and the sweet potato nuggets. Both were amazing so I had to come and dine in (and I brought my boyfriend and his dad)! They both enjoyed their food plus the starters. We ate everything besides two jalapeño poppers but took it to go. Garlic Parmesan fries were yummy! They had so many delivery orders while we were there, plus a large group dining in. It's not a big place so I think that speaks on how great it is there.
