Hot sandwiches have my heart! All the sandwiches here are served hot! Don't sleep on the Lomo Saltado and the Muffuletta! The steak on the Lomo Saltado was tender and loved the aji sauce! Also tried the chimichurri fries, loaded potato wedges, house slaw, and had to run away with a bag of Chicago style hot dog chips. The fries and wedges were magical! I can't wait to go back and try their other sandwiches! I love they have the small hospital like ice cubes. Owner Mike was super nice and love the neighborhood feel of this spot. Free parking lot makes it easy!

This place is FANTASTIC and there's bugger all good stuff in Jefferson Park when it comes to lunch so this place is a GEM. First off THE FRIES which are skin on and epic and ALSO come with malt vinegar aioli. The owner should win an award for just this! Next up, the sandwiches. Tasty, fresh and delicious. The Lomo Saltado was our most recent and is beyond good! The soup I've had a few times; delicious. The slaw, also delicious. I could go on.. have had nothing that hasn't been review worthy! Service is also top notch warm local friendly awesomeness.

Tried Cured & Crafted for the first time and it was excellent. I ordered the Veggies & Such on ciabatta with marinated feta, roasted eggplant, pickled red onions, labneh, arugula, ajvar, and balsamic glaze. It was one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've had! It's fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without needing any meat. We also tried another Italian-style veggie sandwich and it was just as good. The homemade chipotle mayo on the side was a great addition, and the Woodwright salad was also delicious. The owner himself was there, very kind and welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the place. The whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and you can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. If you're in Jefferson Park or nearby, I highly recommend stopping in. I'll definitely be back.

Sick of same tired a$$ sandwiches, fries, salads & beverages? Sick of sorry a$$ service? Welp! Your cure for that is Cured & Crafted! They put their own unique spin on everything and it's amazing! Pro tips: *10% discount is offered to Government workers. Ya'll are welcome ;-) *Cashless *Electronic and physical gift cards now available. *Everything is fried in tallow. *Cute eating area and great ambiance. *Parking in strip mall and street. Mike, you and your staff work so hard and it shows in the deliciousness that comes out of your kitchen. Your customer service is fantastic and all good vibes at C&C. Wishing you nothing but success. We so desperately needed a good & unique spot in our area. Cannot wait to see what Mike and the gang come up with next! I'll be your test dummy! I bought gift cards for my neighbors and told them about this place and they are all raving! People I urge you to help this small business that is just starting out...spread the word, buy a gift card, write a review...or at least give them a try. I think you'll be back for more! Don't take my word...GO GET YOU SOME!

Amazing food and service. I placed an online order and everything was ready very timely and everything looked exactly like their pictures. I can't wait to try the entire menu.!!!

Best sandwich I've had in a long time. Turkey Etc - turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and bacon on a soft sesame seed bun. I also ordered their homemade onion rings with chipotle mayo. Delicious doesn 't begin to describe it. There are a lot of items to choose from. It may take me a while, but I can see myself eating one of everything their menu has to offer.

Fresh crafted excellence. From the moment you walk in you can feel the love for the Midwest from the Chicago and Great Lakes potato chips to the Midwest map art . The food is definitely created for the love of a great sandwich. The onion rings are light and fluffy battered . There's a hardcore foodie leading the way to a great sandwich / salad shop . Whether you want to go with traditional sandwich or go outside your comfort zone and try something different. You definitely will not be disappointed. The soups of the day are homemade and tasty . It's a cashless establishment so bring your credit card/ debit card . You will feel like you're over at your favorite foodie friends house !

    Chopped cheese sandwich

Food, service and ambiance...yea they have it all. I was working in the area and stopped in for a sandwich. I saw they had chopped cheese IYKYK!! This was one of the best I have had for sure! I tried the cheese sticks too. The owner said they were new and trying them out and he asked for feedback. I was honest. Told him the chopped cheese was AWESOME but cheese sticks a little bland. The owner was literally one of the nicest guys I've met. He brought out his home made cheese curds with the green chili ranch Ohhh man those things smacked ! So much flavor Wish this place was closer to my house ! Highly recommend

You HAVE to check this place out! Delicious food, reasonable prices and unique options, kind and helpful service. We had the Chimmichuri Steak, The Rachel, and two different orders of fries. The steak was perfectly cooked and I loved the thousand island dressing on the Rachel. I will definitely be back!

It came as a great recommendation! We didn't have it for a while since we live the low-carb life but were thrilled to learn they do a "sub in a tub". I love their tuna salad/sub. Their bread is soft, back when I could eat it. They don't overfill it with mayo either and add some mild peppers or hot on request. I like that they don't have onions at the deli so it doesn't overpower everything else. My husband typically loves the club. They rolled a generous amount into a container and I used scissors to quickly and easily cut it. It was a perfect lunch and I have enough for another tomorrow! Service was ok, spotty at bits, but I also attribute it to the place being busy. We had to ask a second time for some missing items. To eat, I got the berry crepes and a side of hash browns with cheese. My friend got the eggs Benedict with a side of pancakes. The crepes were very good, but I preferred the bites without the berry mascarpone filling. The side of pancakes my friend got was huge, this would be plenty as a main. I haven't been to the location but have had these bagels consistently for over 10 years. The texture and flavor of the bagel is everything a NY bagel is and should be. Fluffy on the inside, somewhat crispy on the outside, and oh so thiccccccccck! Their cream cheese?! Ugh! Don't skip on it, seriously everything about this place is perfect. If you're expecting this to be interchangeable with the franchised bagel places that have spread…read moreacross the country, recalibrate now. This is not that. I've been going to New York Bagel & Bialy for over 50 years, and places like this operate on a different clock, a different standard, and frankly, a different philosophy of what a bagel is supposed to be. Timing matters. If you show up after about 8:00 AM, your odds of getting bagels at their absolute peak--still warm, properly textured, with that slight resistance on the outside and softness inside--go up significantly. Earlier can be hit or miss depending on the batch cycle, but once they're in stride, this place delivers. The essentials are all here and worth your time: poppy seed, sesame, everything, and especially the bialys. The bialys alone are reason enough to make the trip--properly done, with the right chew and depth of flavor that you simply won't find in mass-produced versions. Don't overcomplicate it. Grab a dozen. On your way home, stop and pick up a couple packages of Philadelphia Cream Cheese and some smoked salmon a jar of capers, a Bermuda onion--whether here or even from Walmart--and you've got a meal that outperforms most brunch menus at a fraction of the cost. This isn't trendy. It's not trying to be. It's something better: consistent, old-world, and still doing it the right way. If you're going to call something a bagel, the standard is not branding--it's process. That's why New York Bagel & Bialy on Touhy stands apart. They actually do it right: kettle-boiled first, then baked in rotating ovens. That single decision--boiling--changes the entire structure. It gelatinizes the outer starch layer, locks in density, and produces that thin, glossy crust with real chew. Without it, you don't have a bagel--you have bread with a hole. The rotating ovens matter too. They deliver even heat, which means you get the correct balance: a slight exterior crisp with a dense, elastic interior. No puffiness. No sponge. No collapse under toppings. That's the difference here. Most chains optimize for speed and shelf life, so they steam or shortcut the process. Many local shops land in the middle. This place doesn't compromise. If you care about what a bagel is supposed to be--not just what it's called--this is the benchmark in Chicago.
