I really do love this place. Such a great spot for lunch with many sandwich and side options. The decor is very unique and beautiful - it's very inviting. I've only ordered to-go, but the staff is welcoming and communicative. My favorites are the Diavolo Italiano, Muffuletta, and Onion Rings which are probably one of the best I've ever had. I tried the Veggies & Such sandwich which was really good. It does come warmed, but I really enjoyed it cold which I ate the next day. The cabbage soup was disappointing, it tasted more like a minestrone soup, which was ok, but expected cabbage soup with a unique tastes. This place is very nice and clean. This is a cashless eating establishment. Ordered the Cubano and the Steak Chimichurri sandwich. The Cubano was really good. It is as good as the Cubano sandwiches you get from Miami's little Havana area. Highly recommend. The Chimichurri Steak sandwich on the other hand was Good, but not as great as the Cubanoz the steak sandwich consisted of pieces of steak, topped with fries and chimichurri. I think this sandwich would be way better if it had more Steak, (especially for the high cost). I felt like I was eating too much bread. The bread overtook the great taste of the steak. Also, the Chimichurri was more like a pesto sauce. It was good but that's what I felt like I was tasting. The regular fries were tasty, and coleslaw was very good. This place is legit. We've been here three times and each time the food is excellent. The sandwiches, salads, burgers, and fries are superb with good flavor and nice takes on old classics. The staff is friendly. The restaurant itself is small so there might not be enough seating if it's busy. Being that it's close to home and decently priced, we will return again and again. So they were nice enough to send me a five dollar off deal for my birthday . So of course I had to get something . I tried the bacon chicken ranch sandwich with no bacon . Also the cabbage soup , onion rings , and a dollar off fries . My sandwich was sloppy and delicious. Chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Hot sandwiches have my heart! All the sandwiches here are served hot! Don't sleep on the Lomo Saltado and the Muffuletta! The steak on the Lomo Saltado was tender and loved the aji sauce! Also tried the chimichurri fries, loaded potato wedges, house slaw, and had to run away with a bag of Chicago style hot dog chips. The fries and wedges were magical! Tried Cured & Crafted for the first time and it was excellent. I ordered the Veggies & Such on ciabatta with marinated feta, roasted eggplant, pickled red onions, labneh, arugula, ajvar, and balsamic glaze. It was one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've had! It's fresh, flavorful, and satisfying without needing any meat. We also tried another Italian-style veggie sandwich and it was just as good. The homemade chipotle mayo on the side was a great addition, and the Woodwright salad was also delicious. The owner himself was there, very kind and welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the place. The whole atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and you can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. If you're in Jefferson Park or nearby, I highly recommend stopping in. First off THE FRIES which are skin on and epic and ALSO come with malt vinegar aioli. The owner should win an award for just this! Next up, the sandwiches. Tasty, fresh and delicious. Craft sandwhich shop located in Jefferson Park that I believe more recently opened up! I called ahead for pick up and it was just about ready when I got there. The girl who took my order on the phone and rang me up was really friendly. I ordered the Lomo Saltado sandwich was was EXCELLENT, but my only complaint is that I found it to be extremely expensive. It was roughly $20 just for the sandwich alone. With the tip I left there spending over $23. While I did love the taste and flavor and ingredients, I don't know if I'd come back often just for the price point. They do have some other sandwiches at lower price points, but still seem a bit high to me. read more

Ordered pickup, first the good, place was super clean! There also were no customers inside at the time of my pickup. The girl behind the counter gets a five stars out of five! Very nice, met with a smile, got my order gave it with a smile and wished me a good night. Now the bad. The sandwiches were decent not great, bordering on good but I've had better sandwiches at other places (note the bread was great). The fries were horribly over salted. I love that they are tallow fried, was looking forward to that old taste but the only thing I could taste was salt. In fact it was so salty the salt taste started messing with my sandwich taste because as I ate it it started to taste salty too. We ordered the cheese curds too. They were good but there seemed to be more crumbs than curds in the box. All in all, would I go again if I was hungry and I was in the area? Yes. Would I go out of my way to go again?
