We always go to another popular shave ice chain. But, this is so much better! Thier small is what I would call a medium or larger at other places. The ice was thinly shaved and perfect texture. There is also a whole adult shaved ice menu for those that want alcohol mixed in. They also have various ice cream flavors that you can add. Our hotel gave us a couple of coupons for Breakwall; free scoop of ice cream with shaved ice. The girls who were serving today were drowning in the amount of work they had to accomplish. Unfortunately, it transcended into how they treated the customers; not friendly at all. They both were making comments to each other about how frustrated they were. One even started cussing in front of children waiting to be served. One was rolling her eyes at a mother who was ordering. It was just not pleasant being there. The tense atmosphere made me not want to eat my shaved ice (and that's saying a lot lol!) I would recommend to pass on this business. Açaí bowl was pretty okay but the shaved ice was not comparable to ululani's. It was not flavorful and bland.

First time ever trying this type of shaved ice HANDS DOWN BEST PLACE even though there wasn't all the flavors after picking from the few once you taste it OHHHH Eemmm Geee. Wow. Soooooo good! The person who made my shaved ice, named Mia, was so nice and gave me a great recommendation for what to get, and I am sooo glad I followed her advice! I got the large shaved ice with a scoop of macadamia nut ice cream in the bottom and for the syrups I got POG (Passion, orange, guava), tiger's blood, and pina colada. Then she put sweetened condensed milk on the top, which I think was called a white cap. The flavors were so delicious separately but as it melted together they were even more delicious to eat with the ice cream! Mia packed the shaved ice together and patted it with a little paddle so that it wouldn't just instantly melt when she put the syrup on. Then she poked a bunch of little holes in it so the syrup would penetrate down into it. She was like a freaking artist. I highly recommend that you try this place. It is head and shoulders above any shaved ice side I've had anywhere else. Visiting Lahaina from Utah and we'll definitely come back here! Mia will take good care of you. read more
