Had a great brunch here yesterday. I had a California Benedict, which was just the right size, and…read morethe eggs were cooked perfectly. Mom had a Californian Omelette, which was great, cooked well, but was a bit too large for her - we took the rest home and I had it the next day. I had a diet soda, Mom had a Bloody Mary. They have a choice of bloodies, with different faux alcohol. The mix and the veggies were great, the alcohol was meh. The big booth table was hard to get our feet around. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was pleasant, we ran into a friend there.

Looking for a great breakfast in the IV is like looking for the fountain of youth!…read more After reviewing several possibilities I decided on the Broken Yolk simply because it was pet friendly. The place wasn't busy and was seated in the outside patio that turned out to be infested with several mosquito gangs that were relentless and annoying. The waitress came by quickly and took my drink order and gave me a bit of time to decide on my order. The menu has an insurmountable amount of items that even Chef Ramsey would have cried over. I decided on the mom omelette and a side of pumpkin spice pancakes. As I waited for my order I did enjoy the coffee that was the highlight of the meal. My order arrived and they looked like there was enough food on my plates to feed the entire valley. As I started my meal adventure it became apparent to me that I had chosen the wrong pill and would have to live in this nightmare for the next 20 or 30 minutes. I basically had to pick away at the only salvageable part of the meal which was the egg. Even the has browns were soggy and tasteless. The veggie interior was overwhelming and off putting! But there was one last hope in my side order of pumpkin pancakes. They were the size of the salton sea and tasted about as salty as the salton sea. They were uncooked and the pumpkin was no where to be found. After a couple of attempts trying to find a cooked piece I had to do a Linda Blair and spit out the hellish pieces onto my plate. It became apparently obvious to me that the Broken Yolk is about as broken as Humpty Dumpty and this place cannot be put back together! Disappointment is the only thing on this menu that is done right at this place! Do yourself a favor and just drive to Yuma or San Diego next time you wake up hungry. Or simply go next door to Dunkin Donuts.

This is comparing the Sizzler to other chain restaurants of its type. You come in to the Sizzler to…read moresee giant menus on the wall. It's pretty safe because all Sizzlers have pretty much the same food-though quality and cleanliness can vary greatly. I took a quick walk around to get photos and assess the cleanliness and while there was some food spillage from customers being sloppy, the place looked very clean and the customers looked happy. Good sign. We were getting hangry from working and not getting lunch so we wanted dinner with no surprises. Sizzler was recommended and we thought we'd give it a try. Beatriz took our order and gave use side options. She was very professional and friendly despite being fairly busy. We got our tray and made our way to a nice booth. The restaurant is fairly large and was full. The place is open with nice wooden tables, soft seating and beams giving it a warm and comfy feel. Juan was our server in our area. He brought us two warm rolls that were really good. It came with honey butter but since the bread had a hint of natural sweetness we preferred it with regular butter. Juan was great, friendly and really took care of business. He cleared dirty dishes and immediately brought new ones for your next trip to the salad bar. Our entrees were brought hot to the table. They were a sirloin steak (6 oz) with baked potato and Burgundy Mushroom sirloin tips with rice pilaf. There was also a baked potato for the side because we forgot about the rice pilaf. The meals were large enough and came with salad bar. The salad bar had fresh lettuce and prepared salads as well as 3 soups, a taco/nacho bar, hot wings, fried wings, as well as a dessert bar. That really is a meal in itself. I had the spinach cranberry salad which had good flavor and I doctored it with chopped egg and sunflower seeds and crab (surimi) salad on the side. The chicken wings were quite good and the hot wing was not real hot to appeal to many. That's all we could fit in from the salad bar. Our entrees were quite good as well. The steak had good grill marks, was peppery, quite tender for a sirloin and a perfect medium rare. The sirloin tips were on a skewer, also had grill marks and were tender. The burgundy sauce was a bit sweet for us but not bad when mixed with a bite of meat and rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was pretty good as well. We ended up taking home most of the sirloin tips, rice, a roll and a baked potato. Our meals came to just over $30. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Sizzler. It is not a fine dining establishment but you get good food, good quantity, prices are good and the service was excellent.

First right away I started seeing all kinds of foods outside their container that looked very dry & nasty outside. Lot of empty food that were not refilled or cleaned around them . Their soup was barely warm not hot at all everything looked so unappealing didn't want to eat but made myself eat cause wanted hubby's Birthday to be good. Just their foods looked so bad as it needed cleaning all around. I think it was 1 of the worse place we been out to eat. WE WILL NOT GO BACK THEIR. Hope they will improve.

Subsequent trips to wild wings I've ordered the same burger but it isn't as good. But I went again a week ago and the burger was fine so it kinda depends on which cook is working. I would have rated them 5 stars but due to inconsistency I had to rate them 4. I liked the fries and that burger is a 5 star burger when made right.

I need everyone to gather 'round because what I'm about to say…read more.. hurts my soul, my spirit, and my taste buds. Today, I encountered chicken wings so offensively bad, so disrespectfully dry, so dramatically flavorless... that I'm convinced they were created out of pure hatred. Dry? These wings weren't dry -- they were ASHES with bones. I picked one up and swear it whispered, "please... let me go." Flavor? Nonexistent. Absent. Missing in action. Flavor filed a restraining order against these wings. Tasteless? Bro... these wings tasted like a broken promise. Like someone shouted "SEASONING!" across the room and nobody heard. And the price??? They charged me like these wings were raised on a private ranch, massaged daily, and read bedtime stories in three languages. But what I got tasted like they were cooked by someone who was actively beefing with chickens. I didn't just eat bad wings... I survived a culinary tragedy. A dramatic novela-level betrayal. I'm still waiting for the background music to kick in and someone to scream, "¡NOOOO, MARIO, NOOOOOO!" If these wings were a movie, they'd be rated F for "FAILURE." El Centro, be warned: Not all heroes wear capes... and not all wings deserve to exist. I understand this place never cared about customer service, but not serving horrible food like this . It's like they were old Wings from yesterday and got thrown into the fryer again today. Hey man, I work hard for my money and when we can we eat somewhere in town, but this was totally out of control as far as laziness and disregard for serving even a decent product
