Well first of all we live in YUMA so hubby wanted to go to Sizzler for their buffet for their Ultimate Salad Bar. First right away I started seeing all kinds of foods outside their container that looked very dry & nasty outside. Lot of empty food that were not refilled or cleaned around them . Their soup was barely warm not hot at all everything looked so unappealing didn't want to eat but made myself eat cause wanted hubby's Birthday to be good. Just their foods looked so bad as it needed cleaning all around. I think it was 1 of the worse place we been out to eat. WE WILL NOT GO BACK THEIR. Hope they will improve. read more

The food is always great. I love the food. The setting is just like any other old looking sizzler. The service is always horrible. I never expect anything good out of the servers. Definitely recommend the steak and unlimited shrimp. read more

Food is good, good value for what you pay but service not so great, stinks!. Cashier did not greet us, can she at least say Hi? Hello? Just gave a blank stare. The cashier did not give me waters. It is 104 degrees outside and you cannot give us ice water? I had to ask the waitress for waters and she looked annoyed. They ran out of brownies, I did not see that they restocked. They ran out of spoons at salad and took awhile to restock. I had to go upfront to retrieve more plates and napkins myself. When I complained up front, the waitress gave me a weird look and had a condescending demeanor. I tip very well and intended to give a big cash tip, but not here. Service stinks, food decent. Went today at 11:00 AND was not open. Sadly elderly couple sat and waited in 110 degrees outside. Bigger disappointment. Air Conditioning was not working & was warm . Ice cream car is served in paper bowls & plastic spoons. Potato wedges now are potato chunks, hot wings are burned chicken nuggets with sprinkled sauce/joke! Bread what use to be Texas Toast is two slices of white wonder bread or Bimbo since it's owned or managed by Mexicali person! Sad that such a great place is going downhill fast because of GREED! This is comparing the Sizzler to other chain restaurants of its type. You come in to the Sizzler to see giant menus on the wall. It's pretty safe because all Sizzlers have pretty much the same food-though quality and cleanliness can vary greatly. I took a quick walk around to get photos and assess the cleanliness and while there was some food spillage from customers being sloppy, the place looked very clean and the customers looked happy. Good sign. We were getting hangry from working and not getting lunch so we wanted dinner with no surprises. Sizzler was recommended and we thought we'd give it a try. Beatriz took our order and gave use side options. She was very professional and friendly despite being fairly busy. We got our tray and made our way to a nice booth. The restaurant is fairly large and was full. The place is open with nice wooden tables, soft seating and beams giving it a warm and comfy feel. Juan was our server in our area. He brought us two warm rolls that were really good. It came with honey butter but since the bread had a hint of natural sweetness we preferred it with regular butter. Juan was great, friendly and really took care of business. He cleared dirty dishes and immediately brought new ones for your next trip to the salad bar. Our entrees were brought hot to the table. They were a sirloin steak (6 oz) with baked potato and Burgundy Mushroom sirloin tips with rice pilaf. There was also a baked potato for the side because we forgot about the rice pilaf. The meals were large enough and came with salad bar. The salad bar had fresh lettuce and prepared salads as well as 3 soups, a taco/nacho bar, hot wings, fried wings, as well as a dessert bar. That really is a meal in itself. I had the spinach cranberry salad which had good flavor and I doctored it with chopped egg and sunflower seeds and crab (surimi) salad on the side. The chicken wings were quite good and the hot wing was not real hot to appeal to many. That's all we could fit in from the salad bar. Our entrees were quite good as well. The steak had good grill marks, was peppery, quite tender for a sirloin and a perfect medium rare. The sirloin tips were on a skewer, also had grill marks and were tender. The burgundy sauce was a bit sweet for us but not bad when mixed with a bite of meat and rice pilaf. The rice pilaf was pretty good as well. We ended up taking home most of the sirloin tips, rice, a roll and a baked potato. Our meals came to just over $30. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Sizzler. It is not a fine dining establishment but you get good food, good quantity, prices are good and the service was excellent. read more

It's alright. It has ice cream, chicken wings, and good service. However the main course is almost always bad. The baked potato is almost always bland and the steak I get is always cooked wrong. I.e. always getting medium well when I order medium rare. The whole place feels cheap but the infinite chicken wings and ice cream makes this place stick out... a little. read more

I went to lunch on Sunday with a group and we had awful service with Ramon. We didn't get refills on our drink. He pass by our tables even though we were breaking our arms, trying to flag him down more than one time totally ignored us. This man walks around, like he's angry at the world. When he finally came to our table after we flagged another waitress down, he comes to our table and argues that he's very busy. Why does Sizzler even still have him working there? The food was great. Well ordered two ribeyes one medium rare one medium the first one came out medium but was supposed to be rare the second ribeye was a top sirloin and it was medium well in the middle an medium rare on the ends tried to eat it but was to chewy the medium rare was sent back and came back raw not a good day for sizzler read more

Absolutely disgusted. So I order the 6 ribs. The three ribs in top were still in bone and when I got to the ones it was strange they were already deboned. Thought it was strange, then when I got to the second piece of bread it seemed to already been eaten. Went to show manager and he said that's the way it is. Just thinking about it I'm disgusted. It's just not what it used to be they don't know how to steam vegetables , the meat tasted as if it had been frozen and thawed out, they try to mix it in with fresh stuff if that was fresh the cooked meat. The soups and the clam chowder watered and milk was added to the chowder. I guess they figured if you put more milk in it , it would go further. when I returned home I had the bubble gut and for my sister-in-law She had to throw up at the restaurant and at home some people should just not cook or attempt to cook what they know nothing about I don't recommend anybody stopping at that Sizzler read more

Well, the place looks clean, and the servers are very friendly!!! I'm going with two stars, but 1.5 is probably a better reflection of the restaurant. I've eaten at a lot of Sizzlers in my life. I kinda know the "standard" set by the corporation. I'm happy if my mild expectations for a mid-level sit-down buffet are met. I think that at the Sizzlers in El Centro, they kinda go with what people will accept. They go for a month at a time with NO Hot Wings. The servers say that the owner won't put them on the buffet, when the price is too high; I try to like the fried shrimp on occasion, but they serve it with catsup mixed with hot sauce -- and not with cocktail sauce (maybe/probably cheaper); they have no concept of how to cook a medium sirloin steak, instead of cooking it on the hot side of the grill, to give it a sear (but for a shorter period of time) they cook it on a lower heat (never a char) for waaay too long until it is cooked through and brown/dry in the center; and ya gotta love the Signature Potato Soup, with an abundance of clam juice, I've NEVER seen a clam in my bowl yet. read more

Good place to eat but if you are Hispanic BE AWARE if you get a certain attendant/waitresses. These specific attendants enjoy making you feel inferior and blatantly discriminate. Unfortunately they also have Hispanic background. The American waitresses are very nice and make you feel welcomed. Go figure I am posting this on behalf of my dad. Very rude owner. It was 3 of us and we ordered two plates and a salad bar. Apparently, we were charge the salad bar as an add on to the meal and the owner RUDELY came to our table while we were eating to tell us we only ordered for two people. When we ordered we told the girl taking our order it was THREE of us and she gave us THREE silverware. It was very unprofessional and rude to go to our table while we're eating and accuse us of ordering for only two people. Also, our waiter was not friendly and did not check on us at all. First time coming to this location and I am definitely coming back. I was greeted by a young gentleman who was kind and courteous, after placing our order we sat down and Ramon quickly expedited our water. Ramon was very kind and his service was quick and friendly. We spoke briefly about how delicious the Clam Chowder was which was my favorite. In Brawley there aren't really any steakhouses that I know of, so this is the one I go to. With your order of a steak you get the salad bar and a baked potato. My steak was good, but not awesome due to a little bit of fatty & tough tendons and flavoring but I blame myself for not asking for it "lean".
