What a gem of a restaurant! Everything was incredibly fresh, the portions were generous, and the food reminded us of how restaurants used to taste before COVID--made with care and quality ingredients. We were just passing through town on our way to San Diego, but this has officially become one of our must-stop places. I only wish they had a location in Phoenix because we'd be regulars! We even had the chance to meet the owner and Jerry, the grandfather. It was obvious how passionate they are about serving high-quality food, providing great service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. It really shows in every aspect of the restaurant. We can't wait to come back! read more

First off this place is cute and super clean. The food was a solid 10 and the coffees I'd say are a 7. The prices are pretty decent, except for a $16 sandwich. The service, however, was a bit lacking as the cashier seemed a bit off and unwelcoming. read more

With my group on a recent visit to Imperial, we easily placed an online order for a bunch of sandwiches. It was super easy to pick them up and we all enjoyed the sandwiches together. I got the Italian sandwich and it was stacked with Salami, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, pepperoncini, mustard and mayo -- such a great combo! I was so hungry and I enjoyed it a lot. Great option when you are on your way to Palm Springs or San Diego. I had a fabulous breakfast sandwich- it was the single and HUGE! Brickhouse is one of my favorite local businesses in the Imperial Valley. The service is amazing every time I visit. I love how the little cookies are passed around and they are delicious. The carter sandwich is my favorite sandwich from the deli. The asian wrap is my favorite food from the coffee shop. Both businesses are always packed which is a good sign. The environment is welcoming always. I will keep coming here! read more

BEST PLACE TO EAT in the Imperial Valley. Papa T, the owner and his staff are the absolute best! The menu has something for everyone, and if they don't have what you want, THEY WILL MAKE IT FOR YOU! I am such a picky eater they made me EXACTLY what I wanted for breakfast! Crossiant with cheese, egg whites, fresh avocado and heated sliced turkey! OMGOSHHH DELICIOUS! They have the BEST chicken pasta salad..bought some to take back to San Diego and oh can't forget the cinnamon rolls and rice krispy treats! If you need catering for your office or party, they do that too!! BEST PLACE EVER! read more

Fantastic food and service in the pearl of the desert! This sandwich shop has well crafted deli offerings and cold drinks in this large strip mall bistro. We go nearly every time we stop through on a roadtrip out East and pick up extra sandwiches. Gets busy, but plenty of tables in a clean and cool environment with great AC! read more

Brickhouse Deli is a solid spot for coffee, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. They consistently deliver delicious sandwiches--particularly the Papa T and Carter. My only qualm is there is no dining space when I went early in the morning at around 7:30 AM. They only take drive through orders. read more

Stopped on our way back from our daughter's wedding in Fallbrook. It was a little challenging to get there as there was a murder investigation going on so we were rerouted onto some farm roads, but the detour was worth it! The bread and ingredients were super fresh and we all enjoyed our sandwiches. The restroom was clean and the staff were friendly. Next time we travel to or from San Diego on I 8 I'll be sure to stop here. read more

Went to BrickHouse Delhi for their Reuben and thought it was great. I was really happy with the food and would definitely come back again.

Great sandwich! Very fresh and quick. Highly recommend. The restaurant was very busy and the sandwiches came out quickly

One of their employees made my kids cry and pissed my wife off on Saturdays event. Will never come back here again. Food is mid, comparable to McDonald's on a good day. EDIT: As an observation they only praise good reviews and don't acknowledge negative ones because they don't like to address issues. They as in I'm assuming Jordan read more

I finally went to Brickhouse Deli and it was amazing. I got a pastrami sandwich. Not to mention the service, excellent and very good with substitutes on your sandwich. An excellent spot for sandwiches, soups, and salads. It was our first time here, and the cashier highly recommended the Carter sandwich as it is by far their most popular sandwich. It's $14 for the full sandwich (half orders are available) but they give you a generous amount of turkey, so the price is on the high-end of reasonable. Overall, the sandwich was really good, and the bread was excellent. If I had to fault it, I would say that the bacon was thin cut and did not appear to be freshly cooked. But again, the sandwich as a whole was awesome. We also had the tomato basil soup. That was stellar. 10/10. Highly recommend it. While we were sitting, they also gave us complimentary chocolate chip cookies, which were really good too. Perfectly done. I'll be coming back and I recommend you try it too read more

Traveling from San Diego to Mesa and needed a breakfast stop. The reviews seemed good so our group of four from Iowa decided to make the stop. We are so glad we did. We all ordered something different from the breakfast menu and were all impressed with the food. I had the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten. Croissant was flaky. The meat and egg made fresh and the Chipotle sauce was such a great added touch. The restaurant itself was clean and quaint with fresh flowers on every table. The topper was the hospitality we received while dining in. The owner delivered our meals to our table. He asked if there was anything else we needed; sauces, salt, pepper, anything else. Then he visited with us for several minutes. This was the friendliest encounter our "Iowa Nice" group had the entire week we've been in California and Arizona. I can't recommend this establishment more. Personal touch just added to our amazing food. read more

Great deli/sandwich shoppe. Friendly service. Order at the counter, they deliver to table when ready.

I've never said what I'm about to convey in a Yelp review, or any other social media application that is available other than Yelp. But here it goes- of all the businesses that I have visited in my business travels over the years (to include the thousands of prior reviews I've written across various mediums), the customer service that I received from Brickhouse Deli was perhaps the very best that I've ever received. No exaggeration. Here's a brief summary of what occurred in November of this year. I needed a nearby place to eat due to having my vehicle serviced, and didn't want a chain restaurant. Enter Brickhouse. Upon arrival, a college-aged brunette female full of genuine energy & enthusiasm greeted me at the door, and proceeded to recommend what the popular choices were to eat upon my prompting. While I indicated that I really wanted caffeine, the employee walked me next door to the area where coffee was received. No problem with that. After returning to the deli, I order a couple of marshmallow pastries, to which the manager reduces by half due to this being in the afternoon. Ok, surprise there. Then, she throws in a brownie and additional pastry for free just because. Ok, didn't expect that, yet I like the customer service even more. So when it comes time for me to get seated in my chair, I indicate that I was going to go next door to pick up my specialty drink order. The same brunette female that introduced me to the coffee area early says "No problem, let me check something first." So I wait about 30 seconds wondering by what she meant by that, only to discover that she actually brought me my drink unexpectedly. I was quite surprised, in that she didn't have to do that. She mentioned that she tries to do that for all of her customer s. I greatly appreciated this gesture, as I found it as going above and beyond expectations. When it came time to depart, I was surprised yet again by a male employee that offered me free cookies (turns out that this was the owner's son). Prior to leaving, I asked the manager that I spoke to earlier if everyone that worked here was being for real, and that if the customer service is consistently like this. Her response? That everyone enjoys working here, and that the owners take good care of everyone due to it being a family business that treats everyone like family. I was initially reluctant to leave here, yet closing hours were closing hours (this is strictly a breakfast and lunch location). The big question that I asked myself after leaving was "Did this just really happen when it comes to customer service?" The above and beyond service that I unexpectedly received was so good that it's difficult to compare to to something of similar experience anywhere. Without question, the absolute best customer service that I've ever received in at least a decade (possibly two). Am I coming back? Do you really have to ask that question? read more

Yelpers to the rescue. Road trippin from AZ to San Diego, looking for lunch, 3 miles off the freeway ain't no big deal! Fabulous Porker sandwich made exactly to my order. Outstanding staff! The ervice at register was very snarky and rude. It says our server was Jorden T. and this is the 2nd time in a row that she has been rude, short, and snarky. Solid healthy salad and sandwich option in the area. I stopped by for lunch on my way to Arizona. The half salad and half sandwich option was great. Salad was fresh and portion was large. I recommend the Ashley. Sandwich was pretty good. The 3-bread stacked half Papa T sandwich was hard to eat and $16 for a full size sandwich feels really steep. Tuna sandwich was ok--nothing special. Sour dough bread was crumbly. Service was friendly and everyone had masks on. Outdoor and indoor dining. Outdoor is not shaded. read more
