Upon walking in we were immediately greeted and received great customer service. We ordered sandwiches and a salad. All of the food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We left 15 minutes before they closed and unlike other establishments that begin cleaning around you they did not nor did we feel rushed. read more

Got the turkey on white. Everything bf was so good and ingredients is so fresh! Bread is good! Please don't change it

Great food, fun staff. Comfortable to eat. Feeling safe with a family is rare these days.

Sandwiches are so delicious and the homemade desserts! just wish this place would stay open a little later past 3. maybe at least until 5

First-time customer. I ordered a CARROT CAKE from these folks. Excellent product - handsome, moist, and flavorful. Abundant, too . . . I've never been up against such a hefty dessert. I'd assumed I'd be picking up an eight-inch cake, which was guesstimated/indicated on the phone. Wrong! It's a ten-inch cake, a bohemoth alongside its more traditional eight-inch cousin. So I'm a convert: My next Brawley lunch adventure will occur at Tropical Delights. read more

If you want something different Especially refreshing and non greasy these guys will fix you right now hooked up with their fine quality meats and bread of all choices to chose from, side of fruits or salads which I prefer the potato salad with a cold drink is so worth it I guarantee the best sandwich spot in Brawley! read more

This place was yummy. We've been in and out of Brawley for 30 years :) great little sandwich shop. Very reasonable prices. The portions are normal. You can also reserve a table in the back area for sit down dining. I had the tuna sandwich on rye - good Husband had the torpedoed a whole is two sandwiches! He loved it! My aunt had the fruit plate which was huge and all ripe and yummy fruits! Cousins had a BBQ and a turkey sandwich all were good! Service was great and the place was clean.... (it could use a deep deep cleaning) read more

This place doesn't care about their walk in clients. They will have you wait for an hour until they serve you. No staff to check on you and the sandwiches are not all that good. Sad this could be a good place but the service is horrible!! read more

Poor service. It sucks because my first time here was a definite 5 star. But today I call in my order, they say it will be 30 mins. And damn it if I say that 30 minutes is a VERY long time to make 2 sandwiches. I wait anyway. Get to the store 5 minutes later than the 30 min mark and still no order. A lady inside the door informed me she JUST ordered. She gets her THREE sandwiches AND sodas before I get 1 sandwich. It took them almost 50 minutes and they couldn't care less. Throw me a measly bag of chips or a fountain drink for godsake. Just do something besides letting the customer sit there upset. Btw I asked the cashier to confirm if they had just started my order and he flat out said yes. I would've given a 1 star but these sandwiches save them. read more

The most amazing staff food and drinks they do everything so quick and perfect the food presentation is amazing

This place is absolutely amazing! They always give a hefty amount of meat on their sandwiches which makes their prices unbeatable. Their tri-tip sandwich is my favorite and I find myself craving it often (whick makes dieting difficult lol). So grateful to have a place like this in Brawley ! read more

Paninis were great! It took time but definitely worth the wait. Smoothies were tasty, and fresh squeezed lemonade was perfect!

Ordered lunch for my family and felt like I got a lot of food! The jalapeno hummus is good. Not spicy just flavorful. They make their own soup. Its delicious! Full of vegetables and plenty of meat. My favorite is the Chef salad. read more

I don't get the hype.... Because of the great reviews we had to try this place. Very nice people at the counter... There were quite a few people having lunch there. We ordered food to go so naturally we were excited to dig in when we got back to the hotel. Wow.... The sandwiches were small and very generic.... Like something your mom would quickly make when you got home from school - like a snack to hold you over till dinner.... read more

Tropical Delights - Very small and unimpressive sandwiches. Flavor was okay but there's just so little of it... - Delis Near Me - Brawley, California

Love this deli it's so awesome, the oatmeal creme sandwiches are great!!!! The egg salad sandwich is so good!!

Love this place, with the addition of the cakes and sweets, it's made it so much more awesome!

Super fresh and clean. Sandwiches are amazing the desserts must to try. Had the caret cake it's so good and light never had anywhere else! You won't be disappointed! read more

I had the club sandwich with potato salad. The club was good and bread was moist. My only complaint is that they charge me extra for cheese on a club????? The atmosphere is simple - like a sandwich shop. The owners are nice and the service was good. But for a club, potato salad, with cheese and avocado added, plus 2 drinks it was over $13. read more

Great place to grab lunch. Freshly-made sandwiches, salads, and smoothies available. Sides served with your choice of chips, fruit, macaroni or potato salad. My favorites are the BBQ beef and chicken salad sandwiches. Don't be worried about the orange-colored chicken - the taste is great. read more

My favorite sandwich shop! Everytime i pass by, i have to get one! Great service, and always super friendly. Highly recommended.

Soo good! Club sandwich + potato salad= bomb-dot-com! Really it's the only thing I'd had because if it ain't broke don't fix it! =) only downside is the hours... good luck finding this place open the hours are super weird but if your lucky enough to catch em open most definitely try their club you won't be disappointed... Yum! read more

This amazing little place isn't right on main street, but it is definitely worth stopping by. I can't believe I just found this place recently when it's been here for a while now. This is the best place in town to eat sandwiches. It's not like a subway it is better because everything is freshly made and has a better selection.Their menu doesn't just include sandwiches they have a dinner selection as well which is different every night but occasionally includes steak and also carries various salads such as crab salad. But definitely over all my favorite from here has to be the club sandwich. I have tried club sandwiches everywhere and nothing compares to there's. So next time you pass through the small town of Brawley make sure you stop by tropical delights even if it's just for a drink because they also have best sweet tea in town. read more

Place is off Main Street, so unless you've been told about it, or your local you probably haven't seen the building it's in, but if you're lucky enough to find it you will NOT be disappointed. Sandwiches are hand made right there when you order them by the couple that owns the place. Salads are large and full of veggies and homemade dressing, vegetarian sandwich is loaded with veggies for those who don't eat meat and the sweet tea is perfect for those hot afternoons. It's a little desert oasis during the long summer days in the valley and you don't wanna cook anything. Highly recommend. read more

Recently this little restaurant was sold to new owners, and so initially I was a little skeptical about dining here. However, As I walked in, I noticed the menu had remained the same & the food was just as delicious as with the original owners. As you walk in, the restaurant itself, small in size, nice, quiet, quaint had a fresh feeling about it. It seems just as the name states, tropical. The nice wood flooring complements the paintings on the walls of birds & trees (hence the name Tropical Delights). There are small tables that sit 4 to each table (I'm sure you could move tables together if needed). You can either order take out, or walk & & sot where you'd like. The menu serves sandwiches, salads, & smoothies. I had the roast beef sandwich (which was my favorite with the original owners), & it did not disappoints. I had a choice of which bread to choose, Rye, sourdough, wheat, white, roll. I chose a roll, no mayo, with cheese. You are also given a choice of sides. Although I really wanted potato salad, I had BBQ lays instead (still being careful to my choice in food). My husband ordered the hot pastrami sandwich also on a roll & also with American cheese. He had a side of macaroni salad, thankfully because I really wanted to try it! I had a fountain soda & he had a coconut smoothie, even though you could technically add another flavor to the smoothie, even 3 combinations are allowed, again, we were playing it safe. The food came out pretty quick considering it was lunch time. The sandwiches, both, were pretty flavorful, although they are just sandwiches, they are so fresh & taste pretty awesome with the side of macaroni salad. (Yes I ate most of my husbands, poor guy). Needless to say, we will be visiting again, I will go all out with my sandwich & side, maybe even pick 2 sides! & we will definitely get a smoothie! Coconut smoothie was very refreshing & complimented the sandwich & salad just right! If you're in the neighborhood or just passing by, check this cute restaurant out, it's worth it! read more
