This is a blast to our trip. This cute store sells different types of donuts, Mexican pastries and Mexican foods. They open 24 hours and their price is so cheap!!! The quality of their foods are so nice. I'll say their torta probably is one of the best I've ever had and it's only $6.49! I'll come back everyday if I live at here. Visited 11/25/2020 Wow for a small hole in the wall this place surprised me. The staff were friendly and they sell much more than just donuts. I tried the Machaca burrito and wow it was amazing. Tender juicy and delicious. I can tell the Mexican food here is very good and not bad for the price. I also got two dozen donuts several of each that they make and I was very impressed. The jelly donuts and the Bavarian cream donuts were spectacular as well as the apple fritters. This place Has to be the best donut shop in Brawley. Not a bad place for lunch either. I will be stopping here whenever I pass through Brawley. It may not be the cleanest or fanciest shop you've been in but it's worth a stop. read more

It's Calipatria people... Thank you baby Jesus for this spot in the middle of literally no where. And it's good too. I had a bean and cheese and my daughter in law a Chorizo burrito. Yes simple. But the beans were good. And that tells you all you need to know about the rest of the food. When the beans are good 9 times out of 10 so is the rest. They were busy the entire time and quick with only 3 people working there. They sell donuts, Mexican food, drinks and it's a mini convenience store too. read more

Love their boba drinks! Their donuts are enormous and delicious! You have got to try their cinnamon rolls and the apple fritters! Love their pan dulce! Donut Ave is good for drinks and donuts, but they can't seem to get it together with the hot food. Highly recommended as a sweet tea and soda stop, and the donuts are good, but all three times I have ordered food I have regretted it. I think whoever is cooking/running the kitchen doesn't get how to do quick serve food and handle orders simultaneously. They seem to work on one order at a time, and not start anything else until that order is served. If someone ahead of you is getting a burrito and you want fries with cheese or a pizza pocket it seems like they don't drop your stuff in the fryer until they are totally done with the first order, then start the clock on the next thing. My want is to always get pizza pockets when I drop in for a tea (they buy the same brand frozen pizza pockets as Johnny's), but I have not waited less than 20 minutes for any hot food ordered here and one time waited over 30 mins for taquitos and fries with cheese, with two orders ahead of me. read more

Disappointed. I feel that these local donut shops are really letting me down with the freshness quotient. It's 4am. Shouldn't there be donuts coming out of the oven? The place doesn't even smell like freshly baked donuts. Le sigh. Maybe I need to come in at 5am... Give them an extra hour to warm up. Always get the wrong donut. I keep telling them with no filling!!! It's okay though, but I did see a little kid get ripped off. He young right after school and charged $03.00 for a regular glaze donut. The worker was a gay male around his 20s. I just hope it was a mistake and not done on purpose. I use to work here and let me tell you this is the most un-sanitaize place ever. My formal boss would make the lemonade on her own and I would always see her stir the lemonade with her hands I never once seen her wash her hands before stiring the lemonade. As for the buckets we would use to make the teas they wouldn't even wash them after use they would make new teas and after awhile I noticed mildew on the bottom of the bucket. read more

I stumbled across this ''eatery" (more than donuts) while a brief stay in Brawley, CA. It's off the beaten path on E st between N. 5th & N. 6th Street- west of Main Street), but mostly locals frequent the place (which is a great sign). They have everything from American to Asian and in between. Plus, they stay open 24 hours a day. I ordered the chicken bowl for dinner, and made a phone call to quickly pick up my breakfast burrito and large coffee in the morning before heading out to the Mesquite Mines at 4:30am. read more
