I've been by here many times and heard their tortas are good. I had the ham and cheese which also had tomato, avocado, lettuce, mayo etc. The bread was just made and extremely fresh! Walking in you could smell the fresh bolillos and it was intoxicating! I will say the sandwich looked great but lacked a little flavor. Maybe needed some salt but heck, this a Brawley! They also had pollo asada, carne asada, bologna as well as burritos, and an awesome selection of donuts! They are famous for their ice tea. I get half sweet tea and half unsweetened. It is perfect for me. Service was great, but there are inly 2 seating booths and the decor is typical old donut shop, Brawley. Don't expect much other than the food after a long drive. Awful At 6am Donuts are old and hard, when I asked for another one that might be a fresh batch they said there isn't any fresh batches till 11am so there ready for the next day.omg lol!!! The lady who served me had blondish hair and I ordered two sweet teas she gave me one sweet and one non sweet which I didn't ask for and also I asked for both lemon wedges on my teas and only put it on one of them and also btw she was not wearing a face mask as she was serving teas and my bread , not to mention there was a fly inside where they keep the donuts hopping from donut to donut I wish they had maybe had closing doors to make sure no flies get inside the donuts read more

Years and years of visiting this donut shop every time on our frequent road-trip from LA to Mexicali. The tortas here are amazing! Usually go with Steak or pierna (pork) torta which never disappoint. On this last visit, the steak had more fat than usual but with their housemade teleras it makes up for it. After so many years of coming here we asked if they make the teleras for the tortas and found out they do! We left the place with loads of this amazing bread! Premises could sure use an upgrade however not too bothered by this as this feels like a ghost town. Anyone passing by this old donut shop, make sure you grab yourself a torta! read more

Not on the top of my list for donuts. I came in at 4:30am to get a freshly baked treat, and what I got was a stale old-fashioned maple glazed. I typically can devour 2 donuts with in the bat of an eye... Yet This one donut took me a while to work through. It was hard and dry. And the chocolate bar I got is still in the bag... I'm afraid to eat that one. With another donut shop just a block away I'm curious how this place stays open with such sub-quality product. Looks like I need to get a torta... Holla at yo guuuurl mr cake and old fashion donut! Came in because the man loves the donut holes but they were out, so we opted to get a few to go. I didn't care much for the glazed donut, but their old fashion and cake donut were yummy!!! The cake was fried enough where the outside was crisp and delicious. It's a small place that also serves food, but we probably won't come for that. They also sell pan dulce if you're looking for some. read more

They are open 24 hours and were busy on Friday night at 1045. They offer tortas, burritos, croissant sandwiches, and lots of non donut items. The cookies could be sweeter. The baked goods loose some of their luster when eating them late night. The machaca and egg burritos were fantastic. Home made machaca with grilled onions and green chile mixed with egg in a fresh tortilla for 5,99. Fantastic! The people behind the counter were very friendly and suggested machaca. You could see a hug slab of beef in the fridge waiting to be turned into machaca. Parking is out front. Restroom is dirty. They have several types of brewed iced t. I often drive by this Tasty Donuts between El Centro and Palm Springs, where the freeway takes a right turn down the main drag in Brawley. Usually I stop at the McDonalds because it is right on the route, but this donut shop is right next to it, and I've always been intrigued by the sign "24 Hours Tasty Doughnuts"- an all night donut shop in Brawley, really? It's certainly nothing to look at, and probably not the cleanest place in the world, but what this place actually is, is part doughnut shop part panaderia (mexican bakery) with all the treats of both bakeries fully in the house at my late afternoon stop. My glazed doughnut sucked, but considering the time of day I won't hold it against them. read more

I am allergic to Avocado. And in three different occasions they have given me tortas with avocado even when I told them no avocado because I am allergic. I have always being very nice about it and I just ask them to give me another one without avocado. Today (03.25.2021) the female owner went to the kitchen, probably thinking I had left, she made fun of me. She was saying, "sure she is allergic to avocado" and she said something in Mandarin or Cantonese. And everyone laughed. read more

a donut haven in the middle of a baked goods desert. foods great, staffs great, prices are great. cashier called her dad for me to help with my car. checked the spark plugs and gave me new fuses, even came on a test drive with me. only charged 20 bucks. really nice guy. the spark plugs were actually loose we learned a few days later but cant blame the guy, was a really nice guy. recommend both him and his daughter for either donuts or car needs. read more
