I decided to take the drive out there, after arriving too early on one attempt I came back to try again and they were open! I met Nate, tending the bar. Nate was awesome. We had a great conversation about all kinds of stuff like Michigan. I had to have him bake me one of their Red Baron pizzas. The place is decorated with all kinds of random quirky stuff, totally my kinda vibe. The pizza was good the beer better and the company the best! Definitely a spot worth making the trek out for! Wine bar doesn't open till 5 which was when happy hour started. For the first hour, they had wine, well drinks and draft beer. A few small plates also offered. It's a wine and tapas bar. It's along El Paseo before you hit the main shopping area, depending on which way you come. Entrance has a nice wall created by ficus trees and mister spraying to keep you cool. There's a decent patio with a good amount of seating. Inside is where the party is. The place is set with two seating area. Right when you walk in is the bar. A good amount of hi top seating and tables. Hi top seating that are along the window were actually very uncomfortable. Padded seats were so narrow that seating was so uncomfortable but oh well. There's the other room seating area which houses all the wine on shelves. I believe it's also a wine store but that sectioned was closed for a private event. We just wanted a drink before dinner so no food was had. From the looks of the dishes that were coming out, they looked really nice. Tapas style dishes made for sharing. With happy hour, there was a couple dishes that was included. Also they offered a deal with a charcuterie board and a bottle included. We just went with a glass of their house red and white. And an order of spicy margaritas. It's a full bar so that was nice. Margaritas were great and house wine was decent. The service was great with the bartender who was a doll and very sweet. Made drinks and still had time to come check out on people. It was still early but it did pick up for happy hour which is from 5-6 right when they open. The place was quite nice and well decorated. Beautiful wine bar that's great for mingling with friends over food drinks and tapas. Will definitely be back for some food.

It's part of a little strip mall with a few other business. The parking situation was a little confusing as we didn't know if you were allowed to park at any of the spots. Some were reserved while some didn't have anything assigned to them. Afterwards we did find out that you were allowed to park there. Street parking is also available if needed. The place is quite nice and literally down the street from the main downtown strip. Also around the corner for the casino. There's a massive patio seating but with the summer heat, no one was outside .Right when you walk in, there's a cute seating area before heading straight to the bar. Main bar as you walk in as well as second bar towards the back area. It's a full bar so whatever you like, it could be made. As we were here for an event, a meet and greet with everyone was perfect for this place. Drinks were rolling and people enjoying getting to know each other. A nice concept to make new friends in the area. Besides wine and cocktails, there's beer as well as food. I didn't get a chance to check the menu but food was supplied at the event. Flatbread were brought out as well as hummus and crudités. Let me say, the selections of flatbread that was served was great. So many different selections and flavors to go around. They were quite nice. The indoor area is an open concept with loads of tables and comfy couches places throughout like seating areas. We also found out that certain nights they offer karaoke. Plus happy hours happens nightly. The crowd for the event was great but being able to check out new places that Palm Springs has to offer was great. It's a place thats perfect for mingling with friends, popping in for a drink or just lounging with a nice glass of wine. Grab some food if you want as they have a good selection on the menu. When the weather allows it, it's perfect for an evening on the patio. This place is now a must for us as it was great. A fun place for a nice glass of wine or cocktails. Glad we finally tried it out. The espresso Martini was just incredible, so smooth cold and delicious. The raspberry Lemon Drop was the best, not sweet not too tart just perfect. Next was the blueberry Kinsey equally amazing! These are truly perfectly made drinks! If you're looking for true martinis this is it! It's a fun crowd with nice people, lively music and folks jumping up on the dance floor. Bathrooms are clean. He took the time to ask what I enjoy, shared his knowledge of different brands, wrappers, and blends, and introduced me to several underrated cigars I probably would have overlooked. You can tell he genuinely loves cigars and enjoys helping others discover something new. So, just ask him to recommend a stick if you're feeling like trying something new or not sure what would hit the spot. With his recommendations, I ended up taking home a few My Father, Oliva Serie V Melanio, and Arturo Fuente cigars. It wasn't a sales pitch--it was just a great conversation between cigar enthusiasts. Unfortunately, I was traveling through and couldn't stay to enjoy a cigar in the lounge, but that's definitely on my list next time. It was just me this visit, but the next time I'm in the area I'll be calling a few friends to meet me here so we can relax, enjoy a few great cigars, and spend some quality time together. They had some fairly steady stream of customers, some were regulars and some were first-timers like me. Next time I will try one of the salads which I saw and it looked amazing. I have a feeling they will need to be expanding if the word gets out on how wonderful everything is. I added it to my list of stops whenever I am at my vacation place in Indian Wells.
