    Salad

Went for what I thought would be a delicious salad but half way through it found a disgusting dead bug in my salad. Sent the restaurant a message about it and haven't heard a thing. This isn't the first time I've heard people getting sick from here or people having bugs in their salad. I should've known! Kinda had a bad feeling about it before even eating but just wanted to give it a try! If this bug was in the salad and dead it means everything else was contaminated and they fed it to other people. Who knows what else had bugs in it too!

Half of a chicken wrap to go. They were kind enough to wrap them separately.

Came for raspado but stayed for the chicken wrap. Really surprised by this place, nice decor, and really clean. This would be a great place to franchise out. Nice local cafe feel at this establishment. The raspados, whichever combination or flavors you get are pretty typical, with a big assortment of snacks, fruits, and ice cream. Here's what makes this place stand out: the chicken wrap. They have a small assortment of finger foods such as asada fries and nachos, along with salad bowls and plates but the wraps are the best. You have onions, lettuce, spinach, mushrooms, pasta, bell pepper, cheese, jalapeños and probably a few other options I've missed. It's all topped off with an avocado or chipotle sauce (yes you can mix them!) wrapped in a green tortilla. Delightfully fresh and tasty. Pros: plenty of parking Cheap/affordable Clean Cons: menu isn't overly simplified in English. May be a tad daunting to order a combo raspado, but just ask, they're very friendly. Will be back!

Payed $2 for a tea that's not even filled all the way

If La Fresa charges $2 for a XL tea the least they can do is fill up the cup all the waymight as well go to the donut shop they charge $1.10 and they fill the cup all the way! Ridiculous Also common sense when a customer orders more than one drink they're going to need a cup holder!

Even joking to my friends as i drive up that I was about to go get the door slammed in my face again... At one point I just kept trying because it was a habit and the group is very important. But somehow this week I was able to make the impossible happen! Yay! Persistence paid off for once, rather then just wasting my precious energy and time like I have with so many other people/things. Lol! So to reward myself for the craziness of going from completely shut out to having near full access, even if it will still be a long road of doing my job..... I thought "ICE CREAM!!!" I have been here once before and it is such a cute idea. A little drive thru stand that isn't common place where I live. I drove up and spent $4 on a chocolate sundae. Great price and it was a good amount of ice cream. While not this crazy high quality type of thing, it was still really good and was decorated in such an old school happy way. Sometimes you have to celebrate the things you do well. Especially, if they are things that others might not totally understand or appreciate as a win. This is not a bad stop for such a mini celebration! Yay I am so excited and full of ice cream!!!!

It's the perfect place to fulfill your cravings whether its sweet, salty or both. My favorite is the Strawberry natural raspado with creme. My boyfriends favorite is the clamato cocktail and my daughters get hot cheetos and ice cream. I've also had the elote in a cup which is just okay. Stick with the raspados and cocktails! It's a small little building that you can drive thru or walk up to. But dont let the size of the building fool you because they have plenty of options and the service is pretty quick. Not to mention everyone I've ordered from has been pretty cool.

The owner(I'm assuming) didn't want to give me my food. I couldn't find my receipt and she held back the food as if I were going to steal it. When I pointed at the cashier who took my order she pretended as if she had never seen me before. I guess she forgot who I was because the order took way too long. But once again, held the food as if she was protecting it with her life. Yes, I'm totally gonna steal the food I just bought. Mozzarella dog was meh. Boba is made with powder. We went in "just to look" (famous last words) and walked out with 3 cupcakes: vanilla bean, red velvet, and salted caramel toffee... plus a mocha tres leches parfait because self-control is seasonal and clearly out of stock!! Every single bite was the kind of good that makes you close your eyes mid-chew and ignore whoever's talking to you. But let's discuss the real star: the frosting!!! I was fully prepared for standard whipped cream or buttercream vibes, and instead got this cloud-like, silky situation that tasted rich but somehow light enough to justify eating an entire cupcake without emotional consequences. Tiffany herself let me in on the secret.... it's Italian meringue buttercream. So basically, classy buttercream that went to finishing school. Tiffany is also an absolute gem... warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what she's baking up. You can taste the love (and the butter, but mostly the love)!!! If you're in the desert and your sweet tooth starts whispering reckless ideas, listen to it. And definitely support this family-owned local spot. We'll be back for "research purposes" and to satisfy our sweet tooth!!
