We were advised to dine at Inferno by a local who lives in the community. We were told that this restaurant caters to an abundant community: pizzas, burgers, chicken and steaks. We were peckish so we ordered salads. I ordered the Wedge & added chicken. My salad had green onion, blue cheese crumbles & minimal bacon. The side order of overcooked chicken was placed hot on the salad, causing part of the salad to wilt. The salt was covered with an excessive amount of greasy croutons also. Inferno Grill: Where the food is hotter than my ex's new boyfriend and twice as satisfying! Listen, I rolled into Inferno Grill expecting the usual "eh, it's fine" vibe, but NOPE. This place straight-up kidnapped my taste buds and held them for ransom in the best way possible. The steak? Cooked so perfectly it should come with a marriage proposal and a safe word. Juicy, charred, melt-in-your-mouth ridiculousness that ruined every other steak I'll ever eat for the rest of my life. The mac & cheese so creamy it's basically foreplay on a plate. And the spicy honey-glazed wings? I saw the light, people. There was a choir. They were holding tiny forks. But the real MVP, the absolute queen, the human sunshine with a tray = RACHELY. This legend doesn't just serve food; she conducts a full symphony of flavor and chaos. She refilled my drink before I knew I was thirsty, roasted me gently for ordering the steak "medium-rare like a real man" (her words), and when I went full savage on the "inferno-level" heat, she slid a milkshake across the table like a drug dealer and whispered, "You're gonna need this, tough guy." I've been coming to Brawley for many years for work and I must say there aren't a whole lot of decent places to eat. The pizza tastes great.

Visited 1/26/2023 It was so unexpected to find out just how good this place is. We weren't expecting a place to have an amazing menu with tasty food like we found at Inferno. The ambience was nice for a pizza joint in downtown Brawley. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Everything we tried was extremely flavorful and well prepared. We started with The Caprice Salad. It was perfect and the Balsamic Vinegar was Amazing. Next we tried The Chicken wings (Naked) With the sauce on the side. Very Good. Another Winner. We also tried The Western Slinger Bacon Cheese Burger. Large and cooked a perfect medium rare. Extremely Delicious. To top it all off we went with The Chicken Alfredo Pizza. Excellent for sure. It's so crazy how slow they are. We waited more than one hour to wait for our pizza. While we are waiting, we saw a huge live cockroach on the floor. They brought our salad, which is almost only mixed greens inside, really few cheese. And finally we got our pizza. I was soooo hungry and had a big bite, the first bite was fine. But it was crazy spicy when I continued eating. It is tooooooooooo spicy! I can eat quite good spicy food, but this one is burning. It's dangerous and they didn't warn us when we put the order. So I had to leave and find another place to eat because they were too busy to take more orders. read more

The Slowjamastan parliament took a last minute drive up to Brawley to check out the scene. It seemed like the perfect time to get out and mingle with the people. During our visit, we decided to make a last minute dinner stop. We arrived (unannounced) to a place called Inferno Restaurant. Upon our Saturday night arrival, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server (excited at the fact we were there) had a friendly smile and very attentive. Our drinks always re-filled and our food was hot and tasty. Protocol is to always call ahead before the Sultan makes an appearance. Unfortunately, time was not on our side. But, even though we showed up announced, Inferno jumped into action and took care of us well. They were so excited we were there, they almost rolled out a red carpet. Not wanting to call any attention unto ourselves, our Chief Border Agent let them off the hook. One complaint; we were not happy with the styrofoam plates. Using a fork and knife to cut our pizza, the plates allowed us to cut into their table. Plus, styrofoam is bad for the environment, according to Jesse Spano on Saved By The Bell. Outside of that minor inconvenience, we had a great experience. Once other patrons caught wind of our attendance, we had to make a quick get away. Thanks to our EMT, Rescue Rick, he threw us into the vehicle and peeled away. Safely, of course. We will definitely be returning. I've been craving a good, thin crust pizza. Reading the reviews I decided to try Inferno Pizza. I really, really wanted to like it. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review to help support the business. I just couldn't. Ambiance was nice. Beautiful wood, rustic interior with plenty of room for partying and bbq's. Waitstaff was very attentive, polite and quick to fill our drinks. It went downhill from there. We ordered parm fries as a starter. Hard to go wrong with these! And they were delicious but could have been a crisper. The mozzarella sticks were nice, crunchy and cheesey...just the way we like them. However, the supreme pizza was disappointing. The crust was tough and chewy. Not what I expected from a thin crust pizza. Minimal sauce and a scattering of toppings just made for a lackluster experience. I expected all around better quality for our $70.00 bill. I can offer a suggestion. This business has so many wonderful sounding items on their menu. You'd think the place would smell amazing. Not a single cooking or food smell. Put a pot to simmering herbs and spices on the stove. Let those wonderful smells permeate the building!! It will be getting a return visit from us. I read the recent reviews and disregarded them. Very nice environment, had Monday Night Football on which was nice since I was by myself due to work. House salad was amazing and the croutons were delicious. Ordered the Inferno Pizza and had them twice cook it. Came out as expected (awesome) but dont add chili peppers to it. Weird that anyone can make nachos bad? Don't get me wrong, all the ingredients were fresh but no flavor. And for a place that is upscale for Brawley, they use that soybean cheese dip you get in the chips part of the grocery store. Location is supposed to close at 9PM (closing hour indicated) Arrived at the location, sat down and a minute later an employee approached us stating the kitchen was closed (8:26PM) apparently they were only serving drinks. As we walked in at 8:25, we saw a server take food to a customer. Several deputies seemed to be waiting for their food as it appeared they had nothing on their table besides water. I support law enforcement 100%. However, this place clearly picked who they wanted to serve and decided to just close their kitchen at the time they desired. We also asked the server why the kitchen was already closed and she shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know." If a restaurant is designated to be opened until a particular time then everything should be available until that time. If I could put 0 stars, I would but I have to select one star! Spoke to another couple outside who said they were also turned away with another couple. I like this place! I'd of preferred 4.5 stars. I was with a good size group and the server and the service was rather quick. The server apologized for only having two servers but the service was excellent!!! Now for the food. I had the inferno brisket with a patty and it was delish. I wish it was more on the inferno side. This place is a gem in the desert! We were passing through Brawely on our way home from San Diego (clearly, we took the scenic route.) We Yelp'd a place to eating, trying to decide if we wanted to stop in Brawley or Quartzsite. Found Inferno, and thought we would give it a try, since nothing piqued our interest in Quartzsite. We are SO glad we stopped! The restaurant itself is really neat and clean. It is easy to find and had decent parking. We sat at the back bar. The bartender was great and very personable. The locals were friendly and they had the Sunday football games on TV. The food was outstanding! We started with the Sidewinder Potato Rings, not really sure what to expect (they ended up being like loaded fries). I had a salad and my husband had a burger. It was huge! They don't currently offer mixed drinks, but had a good sized beer and wine selection, with a variety of beers on tap. They have a beautiful patio, although it was too hot for it to be opened when we stopped. We frequent the Glamis sand dunes and will definitely make the trip to Brawley a time or two just to stop in here and eat again! A real find in the desert! read more

Absolutely disappointed in this place. I came with a group of 5 at 5:45 for dinner. The waitress was short with us from the second we sat down. It took us 45 minutes to get our food and it when it came it was cold. One of our group members didn't get their food at all until we were all done eating- about 30 minutes after we got ours ("the kitchen was messing up a lot tonight") I had to ask multiple times to get a side of blue cheese (it took her 20 minutes to bring that out) She was not apologetic and didn't give reasons for all the mishaps. I really wanted to like this place considering my husband says how good they are but from my experience the food was horrible & the server was great tho. The food was served cold and my sisters pizza was all burnt on the crust to where it had no eatable crust, I got the appetizer fries with Parmesan garlic something like that and the fries were just so cold and soggy I didn't mention it the the server because she was already super busy handling everyone by her self.
