Visited 1/26/2023 First I need to say they need to change their address here on Yelp. The present address is, 538 E Street, Brawley Ca. Had to give them 4 Stars for the excellent flavor of their Delicious Pasta Sauces and food. The Lasagna was delicious but could have used more Ricotta Cheese. Again the Red Sauce was the Star. The Fresh Baked Italian Bread was fantastic although be careful as you might just get filled up on it and not be able to Finnish your Pasta dish. We tried the Fried Zucchini and found the breading very tasty and dipping it in more of the fantastic Red sauce wad a treat. I went with The Fettuccine with The Meat Marinara Sauce and Italian Sausage and Meatball's. Excellent and a nice large serving to boot. It's has a bar ambience with music in the background on one side and white tablecloths on the other. If your in a rush this isn't the place for you. It's a place to slow down and enjoy your meal. More of a down to earth Atmosphere family style. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

    Chicken Assaggio "fantastic!"

Restaurant has returned to it's original location only. 538 E St, Brawley, CA 92227 Food is as fantastic as it's always been since I first discovered it 23 years ago.

We came here three nights in a row for after work drinks and some rounds of pool.. The price of the drinks were pretty reasonable and at least one of the two pool tables were always free to take. The reviews regarding the actual restaurant were very poor ( we stayed in the lounge area) .... But decided to order some pizza instead driving around looking for a restaurant... That pizza was bomb! Thin crust with plenty of topping and they gave you real shaved cheese you can spoon on. Very good. The waitresses /bartenders were very nice and efficient. Right across from the Brawley inn....like it! Would like to mention how very sweet and accommodating Melissa is ....excellent bartender! Update 06/29/17- we've been eating the restaurant's food three days in a row- wow- great flavor and portions. We usually eat at the lounge and today we ate in the restaurant - service and food on point.

Small town feel for a "hole in the wall" restaurant. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but there is a warm welcome for you on the inside. Very friendly staff will serve you. The menu has good build your own pasta (choose a noodle and a sauce), good soups (minestrone, pasta fagioli), nice little side salads, and all the expected Italian staples (e.g. veal parm, Fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, cheese ravioli). They also have great looking steaks (rib-eye, filets) that come with fresh veggies (broccoli and carrots and baked potato) - my friend had the ribeye and it was huge, and he loved it. Next time I would try that. My other friend ordered the lasagna, and didn't love it as it was too oniony for their taste. If near the area, it is worth a visit.

It was a sad moment prior at the cemetery but Daya, Bryan and the staff really made our experience memorable. Daya provided superior customer service and top notch attention. Everything was great! The burrata was incredible and the bread had a lovely combo of flavors. The short rib was fall off the bone tender and delicious. And the salad was flavorful, too. The ambience is awesome, dimly lit with lively music bumping. Not only is the environment lively, the food and drinks are AWESOME. I sat at the self seating bar as I was dining solo. The bartender, very friendly guy, took my order. Forgot his name but he is a good looking guy, which sort of fits the upscale scene. Every table gets complimentary salsa tray which I presume has avocado salsa, verde, mocajete, and limes. The salsas were DELICIOUS. I do wish they gave some complimentary chips along with it. Everything I ordered: Carne asada burrito, substitute beans with rice - 9/10. Was very delicious especially when accompanied with the salsas. For the drinks: Oaxaca Old Fashioned - 10/10. I love old fashioneds and they nailed it here. Instead of whiskey, they use mezcal which was delicious. Agave Spritz - 10/10. Mezcal with prosecco. Fantastic. No words. The only thing I would recommend to the restaurant is including prices of the cocktails on the menu. After finishing eating I had no idea what the damage would be but it turned out to be very reasonable, $13 per cocktail. I wish I gave this place a shot earlier during my work trip, but anyhow if I am ever back in town, this is in my highly recommended list of restaurants. They also had one projector screen showing the World Cup game. They also have Happy Hour 3-6 PM. Parking is plentiful, shared with the rest of the plaza. Would I come back? You bet.

Apologies did not take a picture. I will update as I want to go again before I leave town.

Our second visit was on Valentine's Day two years ago, and unfortunately it was very disappointing. We had reservations, but by the time someone came to take our order, several menu items were already sold out. What made it more frustrating was that they continued seating people without reservations while guests with reservations were still waiting. We waited more than a year before coming back, hoping our first experience was the standard and the Valentine's Day visit was just a bad night. Unfortunately, this visit was also disappointing. Service was slow, we were served the wrong wine even after spelling it out for the waitress, and the whiskey I ordered was also incorrect. The food was not cooked properly, and the lobster mac and cheese came out cold. For a $300+ dinner, I expect much better. I understand this is the Valley, and I genuinely try to support local small businesses, but consistency matters -- especially at this price point. After two poor experiences in a row, it is hard to justify coming back.
