Visited 1/26/2023 First I need to say they need to change their address here on Yelp. The present address is, 538 E Street, Brawley Ca. Had to give them 4 Stars for the excellent flavor of their Delicious Pasta Sauces and food. The Lasagna was delicious but could have used more Ricotta Cheese. Again the Red Sauce was the Star. The Fresh Baked Italian Bread was fantastic although be careful as you might just get filled up on it and not be able to Finnish your Pasta dish. We tried the Fried Zucchini and found the breading very tasty and dipping it in more of the fantastic Red sauce wad a treat. I went with The Fettuccine with The Meat Marinara Sauce and Italian Sausage and Meatball's. Excellent and a nice large serving to boot. It's has a bar ambience with music in the background on one side and white tablecloths on the other. If your in a rush this isn't the place for you. It's a place to slow down and enjoy your meal. More of a down to earth Atmosphere family style. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu.

Chicken Assaggio "fantastic!"

Restaurant has returned to it's original location only. 538 E St, Brawley, CA 92227 Food is as fantastic as it's always been since I first discovered it 23 years ago.

We came here three nights in a row for after work drinks and some rounds of pool.. The price of the drinks were pretty reasonable and at least one of the two pool tables were always free to take. The reviews regarding the actual restaurant were very poor ( we stayed in the lounge area) .... But decided to order some pizza instead driving around looking for a restaurant... That pizza was bomb! Thin crust with plenty of topping and they gave you real shaved cheese you can spoon on. Very good. The waitresses /bartenders were very nice and efficient. Right across from the Brawley inn....like it! Would like to mention how very sweet and accommodating Melissa is ....excellent bartender! Update 06/29/17- we've been eating the restaurant's food three days in a row- wow- great flavor and portions. We usually eat at the lounge and today we ate in the restaurant - service and food on point.

Small town feel for a "hole in the wall" restaurant. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but there is a warm welcome for you on the inside. Very friendly staff will serve you. The menu has good build your own pasta (choose a noodle and a sauce), good soups (minestrone, pasta fagioli), nice little side salads, and all the expected Italian staples (e.g. veal parm, Fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, cheese ravioli). They also have great looking steaks (rib-eye, filets) that come with fresh veggies (broccoli and carrots and baked potato) - my friend had the ribeye and it was huge, and he loved it. Next time I would try that. My other friend ordered the lasagna, and didn't love it as it was too oniony for their taste. If near the area, it is worth a visit.

It's located inside a hotel, but it doesn't feel generic. The valley has been needing a spot like this! There's plenty of seating options: bar seating, high tops, low tops, and booths, so it works whether you're popping in for a quick bite like we were or settling in with a group for a longer meal. We ordered Bloody Marys, wings ($15), the short rib hash ($21), and chilaquiles ($16). Service was friendly and attentive. Everything was delicious!

We got seated right away thanks to our reservation and the place wasn't too loud; it was just right to be lively, but also carry on a conversation with your group. We ordered the Anza Burrata (Burrata cheese, Coachella Valley roasted grapes, hot honey, pistachio, side of warm sourdough boulé); the Caesar Salad (Baby Gem Lettuce, Parmigiano-Reggiano, House Croutons, Garlic Dressing, Seed Mix); and Braised Short Rib (BRANDT beef, potato puree, grilled broccolini, sweet garlic). Everything was great! The burrata was incredible and the bread had a lovely combo of flavors. The short rib was fall off the bone tender and delicious. And the salad was flavorful, too. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

I intended to travel the entire 2,600-mile length of the Pacific Crest Trail, but my adventure unceremoniously ended in El Centro under a tree about 60 miles east of my starting point. The paramedics told me that hiking is not for everyone. After a desperate two weeks of hiking with little food and water through BLM land tracks, old service roads, and desert washes, as best I can recall, I finally set up camp in El Centro under a farmer's tree near his washing line. Soon after the farmer called the police about my campfire, the authorities and my ex-wife found me in a state of delerium hosting a tea party under a large avocado tree wearing the farmer's wife's plus size nightgown while serving "cups of chai tea" to a sizable pile of rotten avocados and a rusty shovel that I thought was "Jan" from those Toyota commercials. My first real meal after being found by the authorities and my ex-wife was at D'Poly Taco Grill and Beer. D'Poly was the perfect welcome back to civilization as it has a spectacular menu full of delicious Mexican cuisine like street tacos, flautas, sopes and empanadas. The Lineman burrito is my absolute favorite. And they have a wonderful breakfast menu! It's fast casual dining, but it has a sort of classic and moody vibe that gives off a more upscale feel. Love it! A wonderful place to break free of your delusions. My ex-wife tried to tell me that hiking is not for everyone. Thankfully, the paramedics found my emergency contact list and phoned my ex-wife who showed up and broke me out of my stupor by making me drop my emotional support avocado, taking me by the shoulders and shaking me vigorously while yelling "it's over, it's over!" Ironically, that was the same way she told me we were getting divorced. I'm not a quitter, so it takes a while for me to give up. I've since tried many items on the D'Poly menu and everything is exceptional, though I do avoid adding avocado. It's just too soon. Thank you D'Poly Taco Grill and Beer! Five stars.
