    The Spot

    The Spot

This review is for Saturday night…read more The Spot is one of the best nightlife places in the valley The Spot features two large pool tables. There is actually room to make your shot, unlike other bars, and plenty of area to put your drink down, as there is a counter on the 3 sides of the room. The floor and areas are kept clean. Two of the only beer pong tables that I have seen in the valley. Beer pong is a good way to make friends and perhaps break the ice with that doll that has been eying you down since you first ordered your drink. trying to throw that damn pong ball across the room. Shoot some pool with the regulars, and enjoy conversation with some other locals. At The Spot, you don't need to bring in any extra baggage or drama, just yourself looking for a good time. The Spot is for the under 30s crowd. Other Notes: The word just needs to be spread on how kick back The Spot is. Come to The Spot for a different atmosphere and change. Come alone or bring all of your friends (or party animals) to have fun. Enjoy the cheap pitchers and reasonably priced drinks. NO COVER CHARGE! Summary No cover charge Two full sized Pool Tables Two Beer Pong Tables Live DJ $7 dollar pitchers Large area, lots of counter space The bathroom very clean. The Spot also features a reggae night, with a live DJ. Which I believe is Thursday night (I will correct/update this when I am certain and experience it this week) Thanks for reading my reviews. On a recent two week trip to visit family in California, we discovered Twelve located on the top…read morefloor of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. It was on a Sunday evening. The place was relatively quiet with several people enjoying themselves at the bar. We opted to sit in the comfy lounge chairs overlooking the breathtaking scenery of mountains and blue skies. We had eaten dinner earlier in the casino and since I had a sweet craving, I ordered an Espresso Martini. It definitely satisfied my craving. It was a TREAT! The bartender informed us that live music is showcased on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. We decided to return to Thursday Night Rock Show featuring HWY 111. We actually met vocalist Niki Bente in the elevator on our way to Twelve! She was very friendly and personable. Niki Bente also preforms with Twisted Gypsy whom we had the pleasure of seeing at the Rock Yard on Saturday night. Rocking Show!!! HWY 111 was very entertaining as I danced the night away! The place was lively, filled with people having a great time. It proved to be a wonderful experience! I thoroughly enjoyed two different specialty cocktails from the menu. The bartenders are attentive and offer a choice of complimentary almonds with or without salt. Whether you're looking for a quieter place to enjoy a cocktail or two and take in the beautiful views or you prefer to Rock Out with live music, Twelve is the place to choose! I will definitely return to Twelve when I visit California in the future!

Had gone by the establishment many times and the outside appearance is fabulous. Very tropical,…read morecolorful and clean. Friends came to town and invited me for Happy Hour...as soon as you entered the premises you got the feel of old Cuba fabulous leaf fans to give you lovely warm tropical breezes. Arturo was our bartender and waiter and what a friendly knowledgeable and happy gentleman he is. The happy hour menu is superb with more to offer than most establishments. I chose a mango concoction and was delighted with the presentation and the taste. All of the servers appeared happy and content in their work and overall as you see... I gave it five stars! I definitely will go back and invite you to enjoy the pleasures and atmosphere. I'm going back time to the happiness of Cuba!

An absolute disappointment from beginning to end. And it ended quickly…read more Not only did I make a reservation on OpenTable for Valentine's Day, where I had traveled to the Desert for a special trip with my husband, but I had also spoken to Eddie on the phone and he told me that we would be by the music I was guaranteed an inside table. The hostess ignored us, sat two other parties that came in after we did, ignored that we were told to sit down and then finally came to me and told me she had a "special table for me outside by the Koi pond"...um, no. And this might not bother other people, but someone who works at the restaurant was wearing a huge diamond Trump crown that was massive and very obvious as we walked into the restaurant. That's our first impression of a restaurant where the public is supposed to come and have dinner. Also, there was a sign denoting that they play Real "American" music and the word American was in quotation marks like any other kind of music is not American. It was absolutely offensive from the minute. we walked in the restaurant to the minute - I stormed out and it ruined my holiday and I hope no one else makes the same mistake. Save your money!
