Chicken Chimichanga

This restaurant was very cute and the food was great! We got large portions and very flavorful. We ordered a lot because we are used to small servings and high prices in San Diego but this place is very generous and prices are low. Service was quick and staff was friendly. My margarita was great, and I'm pretty sure they serve their food and drinks on authentic hand made dishes from Mexico just a guess but my margarita glass looked hand made, which is awesome cute bar and outdoor area in the back that I would probably hang out at a bit if I lived in that area. Will go here again if I'm nearby :)

Stopped in on our way home from Glamis. We were greeted friendly and sat down right away. Our server was very sweet and efficient! We ordered bean, cheese and egg burritos, a fresh garden salad and a Cadillac margarita. Everything was delicious! We're happy to have found this little gem and we'll definitely be back next time we're in town.

My husband and I went there last night to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first time there. Everyone was so nice and the service was great. Our food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are definitely going back again.

Visited 9/9/2021 Wanting something good for dinner on our way home from the river we checked out this place by reading the reviews. Looked and sounded like our kind of place. First it's a little run down but still good to go. The staff was friendly when we walked in and said we could sit anywhere we wanted so we chose to sit in the bar. Short staffed it took a few minutes but we were not in a hurry anyway. The Margaritas were not all that great so went with a Coke. 1 Star. After ordering the food came quickly and service was good as they checked up on us with regularity. 3 Stars. Everything we ordered was very tasty. 3 1/2 Stars. But unfortunately Everything all the dishes we ordered came to us barely worm. Some quite cold. 2 Stars. We were starving and not willing to wait till they took everything back to make them hot so we just ate it as it was. To bad maybe it was just a off night and management Wasn't keeping check on the kitchen. But like I said the food was very tasty and just Maybe in the future we will try this place again. Maybe? This review is between 2 and 3 Stars.

Great ambiance and interior design, tasty food, especially the pozole, and the service was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and friendly all around.

The food is good and it is the best food we have been able to find in the brawley area. The portions are good sizes, friendly staff and it is fair priced.

Shrimp Cocktail - $12.79

This place is popular and one of the few restaurant / bars in Brawley that I would go to. The bar area is separate from the restaurant. Food - Good with lots of seafood dishes. The large shrimp cocktail ($12.79) was very good with great flavor. They have the standar 1,2,3 item combos with many options. I had the (shredded) beef taco with a tostada (only $7.29). The beers were cold and the service was great! Service - Great! If you're eating Mexican food in Brawley, guranteed it will be authentic or the place will be out of business. Las Chabelas has been around fore a long time and is also a good place ot have birthday parties etc. On Friday night they had a DJ with the music pumping. Good music too! GIve them a try if you're passing through Brawley, maybe on your way to of from Glamis.

Sooo disappointed the Mole was served cold.

Okay Mexican food, but they have good portions. The fajitas were the best plate we got.

5/5 Would Let Cameron Ruin My Diet Again Listen up, desert…read morerats and accidental Salton Sea tourists: if you're cruising past that apocalyptic inland ocean and your stomach starts growling louder than your regrets, you NEED to slam on the brakes at the Ski Inn. Why? Two words: Cameron. And her curves. Sweet baby Jesus on a jet ski, this woman floats behind the bar like a mirage you actually get to touch (the drinks, people, touch the drinks). She's serving looks so dangerous I forgot how to blink. Hips that could cause a 20-car pileup on the 86. I ordered a beer and accidentally proposed. She just laughed, poured me another, and said "Honey, slow down, the burgers aren't going anywhere." Ma'am, neither am I. Speaking of the burgers... these world-famous bad boys are so juicy they should come with a towel and a safe word. I'm pretty sure they're 50% beef, 50% black magic, and 100% the reason I now need new pants. One bite and I saw God. He was wearing a Ski Inn t-shirt and nodding approvingly at Cameron's... service skills. Pro tip: sit at the bar so Cameron can lean over to take your order and you can die happy right there between the peanut shells and your own drool. 10/10. The burgers are life-changing. Cameron is a national treasure. My cholesterol is crying but my soul is full. Ski Inn: Come for the greasy perfection, stay because Cameron smiled at you and now you live here.
