What a real jewel in the desert this place is! Ray the owner and host is the most charming man and friendships are quickly made! Excellent atmosphere in this family owned for over 70 years ensures that the stories and anecdotes are enthralling!

Amazing experience at a true Dive Bar. Dive bars are a dying breed. Must Stop and have a beer with Ray (the owner). Hidden gem of Imperial Valley!

An amazing little bar, a must if you are going through Brawley. Ray (the owner and bartender) has a ton of great stories about his interesting life. 85 cents to play pool and cash only beers. Absolutely one of my favorite secret places! Also if the weather permits check out the back patio a cute little garden that Ray keeps up. Been in his family for 70 + years!

    Ray sharing tales

Naty's is the real deal and Ray is an angel. We were skeptical of all of the 5 star reviews, but over a few beers, he completely won us over with his incredible stories, charming hospitality and home grown oranges.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Small place, pool table, cold beer, and a great host in the owner, Ray. What more could you want.

One of the finest receptions we have had anywhere. Ray and his dog, Goodboy, welcomed us in as though we were long lost friends. We were the only ones in the place and we sat up at the bar as Ray regaled us with tales of building a house for his dog and the time Prince William came in for a beer a couple of years ago and sat just where I sat. The beers we icy cold and his wild conspiracy tales convincing. We learned all about the microchips the government is planting in people and about his experiences buying a lovely used Lexus (only 35,000 on the clock). We were allowed to smoke in the bar and we have never had a barman come out to the car to wave us off. Perhaps the best bar I have been to in twenty years. I want to stay in Brawley for a week just to hangout with Ray. Sadly he won't read this as he doesn't use computers because of the government. Wise man.

The cooler definitely has the coldest beer in town and Ray is the best bartender ever. This place is the reason to GO to Brawley!

Ray is one of the most interesting people I've ever met in my worldwide travels! I'm thankful that in my 'Yelp' travels in search for a place to stop in Brawley on our way home to San Diego from Glamis Sand Dunes, that Naty's Place popped up. The beer was indeed the COLDEST, but it was Ray who made our stop to beat the heat a magical time. If you're near Brawley, make a point to stop by-- you won't be disappointed-- especially if you are thirsty for a COLD beer!

5/5 Would Let Cameron Ruin My Diet Again Listen up, desert…read morerats and accidental Salton Sea tourists: if you're cruising past that apocalyptic inland ocean and your stomach starts growling louder than your regrets, you NEED to slam on the brakes at the Ski Inn. Why? Two words: Cameron. And her curves. Sweet baby Jesus on a jet ski, this woman floats behind the bar like a mirage you actually get to touch (the drinks, people, touch the drinks). She's serving looks so dangerous I forgot how to blink. Hips that could cause a 20-car pileup on the 86. I ordered a beer and accidentally proposed. She just laughed, poured me another, and said "Honey, slow down, the burgers aren't going anywhere." Ma'am, neither am I. Speaking of the burgers... these world-famous bad boys are so juicy they should come with a towel and a safe word. I'm pretty sure they're 50% beef, 50% black magic, and 100% the reason I now need new pants. One bite and I saw God. He was wearing a Ski Inn t-shirt and nodding approvingly at Cameron's... service skills. Pro tip: sit at the bar so Cameron can lean over to take your order and you can die happy right there between the peanut shells and your own drool. 10/10. The burgers are life-changing. Cameron is a national treasure. My cholesterol is crying but my soul is full. Ski Inn: Come for the greasy perfection, stay because Cameron smiled at you and now you live here.

The collards were a little too sweet for my liking. The potato salad was excellent, as was the brisket. The Bartender, Debby, was very friendly. What I don't understand is how smoky it was in there. It was like going to a mid-century speakeasy. The smoke just clings to you like bad cologne. Prices were reasonable, pours were generous to say the least. But the smoke is just intolerable. I don't know how the staff puts up with it. If they could do something about the ventilation, I might come back. I just really didn't need a reminder of how horrible the smoke used to be in California bars, when you'd go home and need a Sharon Silkwood shower to get the stench off you.
