Not sure what the hype is all about. Mediocre experience. The room had no ventilation and felt very suffocated . This should be in the open. The glass dust is a major health hazard. The business should provide masks or something that makes sure you don't breathe in the wrong stuff. My sister and I were looking for an activity to relieve loads of stress. This place is PERFECT for that. We just let loose and used all our energy for total destruction! It was fun too! We got to play our own music, cranked it up and went to town breaking glass bottles and electronics. The guy who greeted us (the owner?) was super friendly and accommodating. Judgement free zone. This was a super great experience, and a very cathartic activity for all the stress of Covid-19! Esteban, the owner, was very friendly and mindful of extra cleaning precautions. When we arrived, there were face shields and thick gardening gloves ready for us. He assured us the shields were already disinfected, but gave us the option to clean them ourselves (for peace of mind) and provided sanitizing spray and paper towels. Additionally, he gave us latex gloves to wear under the garden gloves. He walked us to the room and explained the rules, safety procedures (like how to properly wield a sledge hammer), and pointed out the rules on the wall. There was a closet to put away my bag, and a speaker which we could connect to via Bluetooth to play our music. We got the Annihilation package which was 20 minutes and includes 30 bottles and 3 electronics to destroy. (Though we actually got 4, which was awesome and much appreciated!) Favorite part was breaking the glass bottles, and favorite destructive item of choice was the crowbar. He warned us that bottles were pretty durable, so chucking it against the one wall wouldn't break them immediately. So we set them up on the large plastic barrel and swung at them with the metal bat instead, and THAT was awesome and SUPER satisfying. Pro tip, the bottle necks left behind broke much easier when chucked against the wall after that. I believe he usually allows parties of up to 10 per room, 8 right now due to Covid. But I wouldn't recommend groups of more than 4 or 5 people. It's a smallish space and with glass and broken parts flying everywhere, it could be more risky for larger parties. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and looking forward to coming here again! read more

Updated response to owner: 1. Esteban - you miss the point entirely. You ignore facts and respond to only certain points. I just went on your website and was offered an appointment for this weekend. Another lie. Your number of sales through Groupon means nothing to me. 2. The issue is with your policy. You sent me TWO emails confirming my RESCHEDULED appointment and not once did you use your own attention to detail to pick up the phone and inform me that your policy is to take it upon yourself to cancel appointments without informing the customer. You actually think that that is a defense? You collect money from people then cancel their appointments, keeping the money. 3. Whereas a normal person would've at the very least refunded my money, you haven't even done that and in addition to trying to keep my money, you have also continued to try and fight with me via text message, my personal email, and on here. You clearly aren't that busy as you have all the time in the world to go back & forth. You're a piece of shit. You're delusional. You'll get what's coming to you. Response to owner: 1. The man with entered the gate after you told us that you would come out to speak with us and didn't. I'm not really concerned with whether or not think dom me one is on drugs. He never threatened you. I heard the entire exchange. You are a down right liar. I paid $10 to reserve the spot so you still owe me $5 plus the cost of the 2 groupons. 2. The issue is not my attention to detail. The issue is that you failed to adequately pass the information to me. Even the email that you did send confirmed my rescheduled appointment. You had my phone number and as the owner of a business that requires you to use common sense, especially since you have clearly had scheduling issues with customers in the past, you should've called me. Sending me two emails that confirmed my rescheduled reservation did not in any way communicate that you had taken it upon yourself to cancel it. That's not how reputable businesses operate. 3. You failed to address the fact that you chose to "relax" (your words) and close two hours earlier than your posted business hooves say you're open. How am I to know that you didn't cancel my appointment minutes before I arrived so that you could kick your feet up and relax? If you can't take the time to communicate effectively with customers then why are you in business at all? That's the biggest part of the job. Do you realize that multiple people have had the same complaints? Obviously there is an issue with your ability to manage, communicate, and schedule reservations. 4. You spew inaccurate information. You are not booked up three weeks in advance because both appointments I scheduled were made for the exact dates & times I requested. You are not as in demand as you'd like to think. It just goes to show that you are not an honest person and are not mentally equipped to operate a business of any kind. I also find your assumption that someone is in need of mental health care because of your faulty practices appalling. Mental health is not a joke and the fact that you would even consider poking fun at that for your own amusement is asinine. Also, I rescheduled the previous appointment due to my child being very ill. It was not canceled an hour prior. If you're in such high demand with a 3 week waiting list why couldn't you offer the slot to someone else? Oh right, because you blatantly refuse to contact your customers. Loved every minute of it! First, let me say my original appointment was canceled due to COVID and inventory. The gentleman (I'm pretty sure he was the owner) was kind enough to help find another slot without any issues. My fiancée has been extremely stressed with work amongst other things and I found this place on Groupon. I am so glad I booked this for us. It was the perfect stress reliever. The owner was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed. We got to use our own playlist which made it even more comfortable. ***UPDATE: the owner responded to this review but barely addressing what was written. No apology. As if these things my teen and their friends felt/said were dismissed. No way for anyone else to witness interactions while these kids were in a closed room and the person working was opening and closing the door multiple times to "talk" to them. He also kept turning the music louder and louder. The person working had their "OWN" bottle of alcohol that they THEY were drinking. We all witnesses that. He was obviously trying to hide it from me when I went over to the front desk to address his behavior. Had nothing to do with the bottles they were breaking. SO much wrong with this owner's response. These are extremely intelligent young people who were all shaken up and scared and that the situation could have gotten worse if I hadn't showed up when I did. Very disappointed by this business and his response. For all I know, this guy could have been the owner, don't know, but if not, he should be fired. Drinking on the job, not having guests sign a waiver, not charging them for the service, offering more time for free, NOT giving protective gear, etc. There should be a sincere apology for what they went through. We left quickly, and I reported him to the police. *He Told the teens that they didn't have to pay (normally it's $100 for 30 min, and a $25 down payment), and they could get double time at no extra cost. *Continued to go into their space harassing them, brought another guy in to look at them at one point. Making inappropriate comments about them. * did not have them sign an " under 18" waiver * did NOT give them proper gear for protection (they had to ask numerous times) no googles, gown or gloves. *finally when getting gloves, they were incredibly filthy *going to try to get a hold of the owner to inform him/her of this terrible incident. This was and AWESOME experience! I was looking for a fun activity that would also relieve stress and found this place on yelp. I sent an email on their website and soon after got a response back from Esteban. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We booked a time for this last Wednesday evening and when we got there we were able to find a good parking spot, it's street parking only. I went with my husband and 3 of my friends and the room for all fo is comfortably. You can bring your own items if you want and you can play your own music. 30 minutes was enough for all of us to get our time in and we all left very happy! Groupon users beware!!! You'll get bamboozled by the owner into using them and not get what you paid for. 2 starts because the concept is rad. I had purchased 4 Groupons for the 20 minute Annihilation package. I had made 2 reservations months in advance, for our party of 4 to go two at a time. Immediately when I made the reservation I was kind of pushed to change from 2 to 1 because the rooms hold up to 4 people. I left it as it was so everyone could break more stuff. Day of, I got a text asking again about the two separate reservations and then was offered to go both parties at the same time in two separate rooms. We decided to do that and showed up at our reservation time. When we arrived, he seemed shocked that it was 4 ppl as discussed and even more put out that we had Groupons. He told me I didn't reserve it correctly and was clearly annoyed. He then asked how many Groupons we purchase and when I told him, he said it was one Groupon per person - (no bud, your pricing isn't per person so why would the Groupon be?) He redeemed all 4 of our Groupons but at that point I wanted to just get it over with. Finally, in the "Annihilation" package, you get 3 boxes of bottles...we got ONE and zero offers to refill or acknowledgement. Not sure what his deal was - if he was mad about the Groupon, if he didn't like that we brought our teenagers with us or that he was communicating with a chick but whatever it was, we got taken for and bamboozled. And he was passive aggressively rude about how it was MY fault and he had tons of appointments to manage. Text thread confirming two rooms at same time attached... I spent more than what we would have for one 20 min session but luckily that means I never have to return here.
