Had a great time with friends! I booked with a group of 8 people so I expected that we would end up in our own room, but we were placed with another group that only had 4 people. They asked us if we would be interested in donating two people from our group to join the other group, but we chose to stay together. There were various games that ranged from building, trivia, rolling the wheel, are you smarter than a 5th grader style game, and etc. We loved the variety and friendly competition. During the game, there were a few hiccups like a blindfold not being available, the whiteboard being broken, and our points not being properly counted. Ruins the fun when you have to tell the host we didn't get points that we deserved. Additionally, we all got a text that we would receive a recap video of our experience within 24-48 hours. The next morning we received a recap video, which I was so excited about, only to watch it and find out that they sent us the wrong video... I reached out but still haven't gotten a response and totally would still love to see the video reel if they had it. Despite this we had a great time and won the game!! My favorite game was the grid and the wheel spin. It's exhilarating and glad it wasn't all trivia.
The Big Game Show at the Westfield Valley Fair Mall is a blast and unique experience that lets you live out the game shows you see on TV. It is a fantastic way to build communication skills while everyone has a great time. Our host was good and kept the energy high. She tended to slant the game slightly to help the losing team catch up, which kept it competitive and fun for everyone; especially the losing team. Haha. We chose our final game based on a "luck-based" one which worked perfectly for my team since we "bet-it-all"! Pro Tip: Since the venue is located within the Valley Fair Mall, take advantage of the ample mall parking and use the garages near the newer expansion wing for the shortest walk.
This place is a BLAST! I had such a different kind of fun than the typical bowling, Topgolf, hookah, etc.--this was so interactive and fun. I can't wait to come back with my family and friends. The staff were so cool and friendly; they joked with us, laughed and played along, but still made sure we stayed on track timing-wise. I wonder if I could make it on a real game show?! Hmmmm.

First timer and I would definitely return! Evan was our game show host and he did an amazing job. I really felt like I was in a televised game show. I would love to return with friends or co workers. Today's visit was parent vs kids and parents walked away as champs!! The reservation is for an hour of play time and I thought that was a perfect amount of time. They fit so many fun games in and it does not feel rushed at all. We played about 8-10 games which included a plinko style game, trivia, building blocks, multiple choice, casino/betting game and a mental game. Even though it was parents against kids the questions and games were suited for all ages. Nothing too easy or too hard. The best part is the confetti at the end for the winner!!! Location- inside valley Fair mall, so plenty of eating locations. When we checked in. An offer to make a dinner reservation was offered, which I thought was nice. Price- we were able to snag a summer special so we paid about $38 pp. I believe the normal rate is around $47-$56. I believe you can play with other opponents that signed up, that's not in your group, which may be the lower price. My whole family really enjoyed and it was well worth it!!!
This spot is located inside Valley Fair. The staff here are enthusiastic, helpful and friendly. There's a 10 minute grace period. There's multiple rooms. I believe you can have a maximum of 14 people in a room. The games were enjoyable and easy to play. The game took around an hour to finish. They even have recap video that they send you later on. This is great for big groups. Shout out to our game host Pat for making our 1st experience enjoyable. Definitely would come back again!
9 of us from my office came to the Great Big Game Show for our holiday party activity and we had a blast. We did 5 or 6 different games during the 1 hour sesh, all facilitated by "Colby", who did a great job. The 5 best parts of the experience are listed below. Let's see how many you can guess, with different points awarded for each. Let's see how well you do. Number 5 (100 points): Our group was split into 2 teams to compete against each other - because who doesn't love some friendly competition. Number 4 (200 points): Trivia questions in the trivia challenge were sufficiently dumbed down to make everything easy and accessible, which was fine - it was light and fun and our crowd wasn't exactly ready for a Jeopardy Tournament of Champions! Hahaha Number 3 (300 points): We did a timed physical challenge competing to stack sets of foam blocks as high as possible. Fun! Number 2 (400 points): We love Valley Fair and Santana Row across the street so this was such a great excuse to make it out. Number 1 (500 points): Just having our group together for a great team activity was awesome. How'd you score? The Great Big Game Show objective is for folks to have fun. In our group's case...Mission Accomplished!
Never have I ever thought I'd be on a game show! This place is pretty epic if you ask me. The host had HIGH ENERGY and was super fun with our group! We did boys vs girls and all of the questions were hard enough to gather our groups to come to an agreement on an answer. They have some interactive games that involved building and drawing that the whole group enjoyed. This place was a good time forsure. Gametime lasts about an hour and you can get through 6 ish games per session. I'm excited to try this place again in the future as they have many games that we did not get too! Great job, highly recommend with a big group. (Try and get 10-12) so you can fill the game show without having random people joining your session!

As a trivia and game fan, the Great Big Game Show is the perfect place to have some fun with both friends and family and the opportunity to compete against other teams! I visited during their soft opening on the 4th of July with my family and we got to play 3 of their mini games. Keep in mind when you book a game show, you will get to play more than 3 of their mini games (there are 18 rotating mini games!), which will total an hour of game time! Their games will incorporate collaboration with your team using your hands, minute-it-to-win-it style challenges, strategy, general trivia knowledge for all ages, drawing, and testing your luck. Each round you can earn a certain amount of points, in the end, whoever has the most will win the Great Big Game Show. Important Things to Keep in Mind: - 3 studios can hold up to 14 players, 1 studio can hold 8 players, only 2 players are needed for an epic showdown minimum - These are public studios, which means you could team up and compete against other groups. - For private studios, you can block the remaining spots at a 50% discount when checking out if no other groups have already booked that studio. - $45.99/per person (Recommended for ages 6+) - Wheelchair accessible - Located across the Eataly market on the 2nd floor of the Valley Fair Mall - There are 2 different showdowns to choose from: The Original (trivia, chance, speed, and prop challenges) and Trivia (only trivia questions) Showdown The studio rooms are very immersive with the lights, sound, audio, and confetti in the air. The SJ team is extremely friendly, have great energy, and really make the game show come to life. Make your way out for a fun time and bring your A-game :)

We decided to let the company choose our games at random and we played about 6 to 7 different rounds. I was so impressed with the production value. Between the props, the software, and the location setup, it really felt like we were contestants on a real TV game show. The whole experience lasted about an hour. While it flew by because we were having such a blast, it did not feel too short at all. It is a perfect activity for friends or families, and it seems very kid friendly too as the games felt tailored to the people playing. I cannot wait to come back and do it again. Highly recommend!
Came here during their soft opening weekend. All I gotta say is that it was FUN!!! Really loved the games of chance and luck. Our host was really into it. Had the cool studio lighting. Amazing staff and amazing game show experience! I highly recommend!!

I certainly have walked past with skeptical thoughts and am always cautious when the folks here try to coax us in. However, I've now become a huge believer and fan of this place. Dad booked an experience for the family and we were pleasantly surprised with our entire experience! We were transported to what felt like a hot game show set. There were over 18 games to choose from and all of the ones we got were all perfect for all ages of our family. It felt like a mix of price is right, big brother competitions, and the most insane game shows, I grew up watching! By the end of our game show the whole family was engaged and smiling ear to ear! What a wholesome time. A totally different way to experience "family game night" Definitely worth a go with your family or friends... this is not just a once in a lifetime experience, we're already thinking about when we're going back and who we'd bring with us! The most surprising part of this experience, is that our host Colby sent us a 45 second highlight reel of our time spent! What?! The perfect souvenir of our wonderful afternoon! read more

All but fun! Don't we all want to experience being in a game show? This room gave us that feeling of fun, nervousness, winning, and losing in one hour. :) We went with friends to celebrate my kid's birthday and all of us had a blast. We chose the Standard game and we got to do around 10 mini games in one hour. Our host RJ was very fun and totally has the host vibe. I won't spill the games in case you want surprise, but my favorite would be the spinning the wheel. I mean where can we find the "game wheel" and have that nerve-wracking feeling of either getting points or losing it all. They also have Trivia Game, but maybe it's better for at least young adults. It's definitely a worthwhile experience with friends and family. I could see corporate doing team buildings here too. The rate is $45.99 per person. We scored an online deal from Escape Game email (same umbrella), so we got 20% off our visit. We'll definitely go back for a rematch! read more

Great experience! I played "Cosmic Crisis" and had so much fun. The game was engaging and well designed, and the intro almost felt like the pre show of a Disneyland ride. I also felt safe during the game knowing the staff were remotely watching over us. All the workers were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. It kept everyone involved the whole time. It's a nice spot for friends, families, and work groups looking for a fun team building activity. read more

We came to The Great Big Game Show to celebrate my husband's birthday, and we had an amazing time! The manager, Atonal, brought great energy from the moment we arrived and made us feel welcome. Our host, Pat, truly made the experience unforgettable with his enthusiasm, humor, and positive attitude. The customer service was outstanding, and the entire team went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having fun. We were laughing the whole time and loved how interactive and engaging the games were. We're in our 40s, and we had an absolute blast! SO FUN! If you're on the fence about checking out the Great Big Game Show, consider this your sign to just do it! I recently booked a room for the Great Big Game Show for my birthday with friends and family. It was really easy to book over the phone but you could also book online. They have rooms for 8 or 14 people. If you want a private room, but don't have enough people, they can give you a discount to book out the remaining slots. It's about $46 per person and they sometimes have deals and discounts. They offer two versions of the game: the original and the trivia showdown. We decided to try the original version since it was our first time. Highly recommend! This version had lots of variety of games from trivia to minute-to-win it style games to spinning the wheel, plinko, and more. It truly was like being in a game show! You get split up into two teams and you can choose your teams ahead of time OR they have a way to randomly choose on the spot. Huge round of applause to our host, Rylee. She killed it with keeping the night fun and lively. She was able to easily keep the conversations going with humor and quick wit as any game show host would. My family and friends are really silly and she kept up. The front desk team and manager were equally as awesome. Can't wait to go back and try the trivia showdown! read more
