Very unique where you will be split in 2 teams amongst your party. We had a party of 7 but we were able to still balance out the teams between us (was a close game!). The guy that booked us into the experience was super nice and even made cat jokes based on the theme we chose which was "Kingdom of Cat-tastrophy" We came in and were greeted by a cat eared worker who was super chill. I had high expectations for the room since we had played another room with them before. When we got in, everything was pretty solid so far, but then here and there we noticed that some components like audio wasn't functioning and they wouldn't say anything about it unless we asked for help via walkie talkie which made us lose time unnecessarily. He took a really nice picture for us though which we liked a lot better from last time funny enough! Wow! My pool team captain booked "Midnight in Hong Kong" as a team building fun night out. I've done a few Escape Rooms in my day, but this one had some features that are new to me. With 12 players, we had two six-player teams racing against one another in the same space... The Dragons vs. The Tigers, the winning team will get to take over the Hong Kong underground organized crime. It sounds like it would be a recipe for chaos, but it worked quite well. In addition to solving several challenges in our 90 minutes, we each had a personal puzzle we could work one. If solved, we could sabotage our opponents for a brief moment. All the puzzles were well thought out, challenging but solvable. The details in the rooms are extraordinary and pleasing. Arella was our tour guide/helper/actor and did a super job. read more

Fantastic staff. This escape room experience exceeded our expectations! Booked a same day game for 13 people. Yes a big group! And luckily and happily they were able to have us! Tried "midnight in Hong Kong" which is perfect for a large group and it was so detailed and well thought out. Woah! What a thrill. This is my first time participating in Omescape - Robotopia. This escape room is no joke, and so fun when you're playing with friends. I went to this location to celebrate my birthday. There are plenty of spots to park, and when you enter, the front desk staff is super welcoming and excited. They sell stickers at the front. You can also get free stickers by leaving a review. The game we played was Robotopia. We finished past the 2 hour mark. The staff was very kind to extend this time for us because we definitely would not be able to escape within 2 hours. I came with a group of 5 for my sister's bachelorette weekend and we had a fantastic time! One of the bridesmaid has done escape rooms here and said they're really good - Robotopia (the one we did) is a 2 hours escape room and was highly rated. It was 100% worth the high rating. Multiple people in the group (across both the bachelorette and bachelor parties - the guys took the slot after the ladies) said it was the best one they've ever done. Parking was easy and we were given a locker with a lock/key (and we held onto the key). We felt secure in leaving everything behind (no phone allowed). No spoilers, of course, but it was well done! Lots of moving pieces, and a live actor component! We shouted, we screamed, we had a grand time! At the end, we escaped and because we were celebrating something, we also got the Robotopia stickers for free! I would've paid for one because they're very nice. 5/5 would recommend read more

Our party of 7 booked the Midnight in Hong Kong escape room last minute. We didn't know what to expect and found out that the escape room separates your group into 2 teams and the team that finishes all the puzzles wins. Unfortunately, my team were 1 second too late to turn in the last puzzle. We had so much fun even though it was team vs team, the set was well thought out and made us feel like we are actually in Hong Kong. This place is amazing! My friend and I duo'd Kingdom of Cat-Tastrophy and Undercooked and both rooms were incredibly fun. Everything is super high-tech. The Cat room is more traditional and the set design is SOOO good. It was extremely doable for 2 people and the puzzles were straight forward and fun. Undercooked is not your traditional escape room and there are so many puzzles we definitely have to come back and solve the rest. The game masters are all super nice. The escape room addiction is real!! Ever since my friends introduced us, we play like 1x a month. We've played at the San Jose Omescape location and the Sunnyvale one is 100x better! The technology and the special effects here are so good. The production, the space to play, and props really gets you immersed in the experience. My friends and I have done 3 rooms here so far: Haunting at Haruka High - the most storyline driven room and requires you to listen to the clues. This one had the most special effects and technology compared to the other rooms and it was so immersive. I love when rooms have good storylines rather than random rooms of puzzles. Alan was our game master and made the game both scary and funny. Be prepared for jump scares and flashing lights. Midnight in Hong Kong - this one required two groups to challenge each other. The competition and the story line made this super fun. I highly recommend this one if your group is competitive. The only downside to this is that if your opposing team finishes their puzzles faster, the game ends before your team can finish their puzzles. I recommend mixing and matching stronger players to weaker players so that the teams are divided fairly. We made sure to do that and we were neck and neck with our puzzles. The losing team ultimately was only 1 puzzle short. The host Arella was super nice and funny. She was really patient about showing us which puzzle we misse Chaos in the Galleria - tons of puzzles to solve but not our favorite because we were all split up. I came here with my friends and family to take on The Haunting at Haruka High, and it was an absolute thrill ride, not literally a ride but a journey from start to finish. If you're looking for a horror room that actually delivers on the scares, this is it. The immersion is real. My sister was so on edge that she actually jumped out of her seat and screamed before the room even started! Once we got inside, the props and mechanics were incredible. Everything was so well-detailed and high-tech that it literally had our bodies shaking from the adrenaline. You can tell Omescape put a ton of work into the design. The clues were fun, challenging, and felt rewarded to solve. We were down to the wire and managed to complete every single task and escape... although, technically, we were 4 minutes over the limit. Some people might call that a loss, but we're definitely taking a W home since we saw the whole story through to the end! Plus the game master considered it was a win because other losing teams he had to rush them with clues whereas my team we barely made it over. Overall: 5/5 experience. Amazing staff, cool mechanics, and genuine scares. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a challenge (just maybe bring a change of clothes if you scare as easily as my sister did)! read more

I've been to a few escape rooms at Omescape Sunnyvale now, and they were all fantastic! The rooms are super immersive, and the puzzles were so fun to solve. The most recent room I did was Undercooked, which was pretty different from their other rooms in the sense that there were a bunch of different puzzles that you didn't have to solve linearly to complete the game. Truth was an amazing and fun host, and we appreciated the help he offered us at the end. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and they truly do their best to give you the best experience. Insanely nice and friendly staff, super intricate and interactive rooms (it's amazing what they're able to do with the space!) AND we were able to finish in 56 minutes (out of 90) with ZERO hints in Kingdom of Cat-astrophy! We definitely felt like we were immersed in and really enjoyed the mechanisms of the room as well as level of difficulty and appropriate number of minimum participants in order to be successful. The riddles and critical thinking/problem solving stills does require clear communication from your teammates if you're trying to do this without any hints and we were successful! We were surprised at how quickly we finished. But for that, we definitely look forward to coming back! read more

Yall I've never been a fan of escape room but oh em gee this is by FAR the best, next level escape room you'll ever go to. 12 rooms with completely different themes. Multiple rooms per theme. Magical hidden doors, fancy tech, moving statues, flashing lights, robots... you name it, they got it! We love Omescape! We have done tons of escape rooms in the Bay Area and Omescape consistently has the highest production values and best variety. Very few basic locks and combos, much more unique and creative interactivity. Hard to describe without spoilers but the rooms are always immersive, so the lock mechanism always makes sense in universe and are usually pretty surprising even for experienced escape room players. The theming in each room is also well done and consistent and the staff is enthusiastic and helpful. read more

My friends and I (group of 4) have done a lot of escape rooms together and Omescape always has the best escape games. We just did Haruka High and it's now our favorite room we've ever done so far! The entire game was super intricate and we were not disappointed by the puzzles or scares. We like things like horror movies/shows and universal Halloween horror nights, and I wasn't sure what to really expect from the room description, but I knew it would get probably be good since it's Omescape. This room's puzzles felt like the perfect challenge level, given that the whole setup was actually kind of scary xD. We tried the Undercooked escape room at Omescape as a party of four and it was so fun! You have 90 minutes to solve puzzles to complete recipes and they range in difficulty. Hints are unlimited if you ask the staff and there are also hints built into their game system. If you're a fan of Overcooked like we were, definitely give this a try! read more

We were a group of 2 and we completed haruka high! It was super fun and one of our favorite escape room experiences! The escape room was very detailed , elaborate and thought out! I was impressed by the space and amount of rooms we entered. It was the perfect level of spooky without it being terrifying and having a live actor was a nice touch! I also really enjoyed the story line. The waiting area is also spacious with tables and board games, seems like a fun place to come with a big group! We had our daughter's 12th birthday here. There were 10 kids so I was the necessary chaperone. The staff were friendly and helpful and the Galleria was the most challenging encounter they said! And it was! Even with 10 middle schoolers, and me helping, we had to "call for help" several times to make progress. The escape room had four separate rooms that you unlocked as you progressed - which was super cool. Last time I did an escape room a decade ago, it was literally just one room. So having a story progress across rooms was a lot of fun. I would definitely return to try another room. For birthdays, I would recommend they take some of the open space and just set up reservable tables (for a reasonable fee even) so you could celebrate with food or cake you bring yourself. That was the only missing part to a birthday celebration. read more
