We did the Homunculus room and I saw some of the most creative storylines out of any place I've been to.

Sorry, I can't remember anyone else's names. Puzzles are both clear and challenging at times, the narrative is very interesting and provokes discussion both during and after, and the prospect of decisions affecting later Chapters is very interesting. One of the most engaging and interesting Escape Rooms I've ever done. Although you might find cheaper Escape Rooms out there, Off the Couch Games offers a more unique experience that I think definitely gives you plenty of entertainment for your dollar. I eagerly await Chapters 4 and on. Only room for improvement I can really say is signage. If you miss the banner and front door on your way into the parking lot, you may get confused, especially at night.

The staff does a really good job introducing you to the game, providing context, and giving an overview of the rules. Additionally, they mentioned that we'd receive a discount off our total based on how quickly we finished, which was extra encouragement for us to get through the game. You immediately get immersed into the game before even walking into the actual room and once you're in Occam's Apartment, it feels even more real. The room itself is well decorated, with nice details scattered around the apartment. I loved every minute of the escape room experience and felt challenged throughout the time we were there. We did ask for hints throughout our time there and the answers were often given through directional questions. What I liked most about the Off the Couch set up is that the escape rooms are all a continuation of a storyline, so it makes you feel invested in the experience. I'm looking forward to the next escape room!

A lot of the parts of the room are just straight up broken (like missing hooks) or look broken with chipping paint or loose screws. Even GM-controlled devices like music volume and other tech don't work properly and caused us to have a frustrating experience. We did think it was kind of fun to do non-puzzle things to solve clues, but with everything else working as poorly as they did, that didn't make up for the rest of the room.

The games are the right length for the 1-hour duration, the puzzles are sufficiently complex, and the rooms are very well designed with high-quality props. The staff are all very friendly and attentive to the games, checking in at an appropriate frequency. You can ask for a discount code on future games after you complete your first one. *Back to Childhood was different from the rest, definitely on the easier side but more focused on the fun theme and nostalgia elements.

"Back to Childhood" consisted of a couple of rooms with a fun transition between the two. The theme and decor was nostalgic for me and my siblings and exciting for the little ones as they gave their best efforts in their very first escape game experience. "Back to Childhood" is supposedly one of the easier rooms here, but it was challenging enough for us grown-ups. It provided the perfect balance of difficulty level and entertainment value to fit a group made up of both youth and adults. We appreciated Clockwise being able to accommodate our large party of 8, including the kiddos. Our game master, Elizabeth, was friendly and gave clear instructions in the beginning as well as helpful clues during our session. We didn't need many hints, but liked that all players had to wave their arms in the air to agree to getting each clue. We made it out with about ten minutes to spare, and everyone was all smiles in the end.

All that's left is that each individual sign an online waiver before arriving. The waiver was thorough, easy to go through, and allowed for consent in sending a group photo afterwards. The day of the event, the host for our group went through all the rules and provided a couple of hints before getting started. The theme of our room was the Hunting Lodge. The room in itself wasn't very big, and definitely a squeeze for 8 people, which was the max. Walls were thin, but that didn't bother us too much. What would've made this a 5 star experience if the room had ventilation or if the AC was turned on, just to circulate the room as our group was literally sweating trying to solve the case. We called the host 3 times to get assistance. She was very friendly and provided great hints. Ultimately, we ran out of time and didn't escape. Although we enjoyed the general plot of the scavenger hunt and liked the experience of narrowing down who the culprit was, we felt that the clues were excessively specific, as we had to skim through every label in each area of the museum to get the information we needed. I think we would've preferred more general clues where you could still enjoy the information in that area of the museum without having to work so hard to search through each line of text. I also felt like the clues given were not very connected to the objects in the museum, and the plot of the mystery didn't seem very relevant to the setting of the museum. This took us out of the environment of the museum and made the experience less enjoyable. I felt that the length of was too long at 2.5 hours, although if the clues hadn't been as specific, perhaps we would have been less mentally exhausted at the end. We felt that it was fairly easy to narrow down the culprit with a handful of clues, so I think it would have made for far more intrigue if the clues were more directly tied to the plot and involved more thinking rather than just piecing together tidbits of information. My biggest qualm was the price of the scavenger hunt. I felt like paying $60 for to cover the cost of the museum admission, the video at the beginning of the scavenger hunt, and the website that was made for the scavenger hunt was very unreasonable. An average escape room in the area is about $40 to $50, and escape rooms have much more upfront expenses for the organizers, including the cost of renting the space, the elaborate props, and the staffing. This was a fairly enjoyable one-time experience, but in the future I would just go to an escape room.

Tal provided accurate descriptions of how each experience would be and what are the available options. Tal was very patient while I sorted out the date of the event and also the experience we wanted. The puzzles to solve were very creative and simulates your brain. Also is good team building experience where we need to work as a team and individually to escape within the time. As part of the experience we all got a drink/snack as complimentary. To top it all Tal gave a nice prize/gift to the winning team. Lastly I would like to highlight the amazing customer experience where we booked for 19 people and only 17 people turned up. Tal was able to get us the refund for the two no shows. I will be definitely excited to try out their other scavenger hunts in the upcoming years.
