We came here as a group of six as part of a team building event and had a great time. We played the Prison Break room and had a great time from start to finish. The room was ready to go by the time we got there. Since we had all played escape rooms before we had a brief, but very sufficient walk through before the game began. This was such a well designed game, and we enjoyed all the puzzles. This room definitely deserved its 9/10 ranking. We started in two separate rooms and then joined after we each exited and played the rest of the rooms together. The room, experience, and our host were great overall. The one complaint we had is that after the beginning two rooms, the rest of the escape were basically a series of mostly serialized games and puzzles. We wish there were more that could be done in parallel. At the end, they let us take a peek at different rooms to see if there was one we may want to do in the future. read more

We had such a great time at this escape room in Milpitas! The puzzles were creative, fun, and challenging without being frustrating. Everything was well designed, and the whole experience kept us engaged from beginning to end. The staff was also super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. It was a lot of fun for our whole group, and everyone had a great time working together to solve the clues. We'll definitely be back to try another room. Highly recommend! read more

We usually go to another location of The Escape Game, but they had a Groupon for this location and we decided to check it out at a discount. Friendly staff and fun rooms (same set of rooms as the other location). We will definitely be back to do the two rooms we haven't done yet. Also parking is way better here and the Great Mall is pretty cool (we never come this way). read more

It's always a really fun experience and this time was no different! Our game guide was great and we really enjoyed Cosmic Crisis--just challenging enough but we made it out with 2 min to spare! read more

My first escape room experience and it was a blast . We did the gold rush escape room which had 3 rooms. The best part is that we escaped! read more

We did the cosmic crisis escape room. It was a very fun concept! We were able to escape with a couple of minutes left. The puzzles were very fun and not too challenging. We did need a hint in the beginning but after that we were able to do everything! Monica was very friendly and helpful in the beginning and the end! read more

Located by Theater Entrance. Great mall. Email communication was great for planning event & was given promo for birthday girl. TYSM Milpitas ! 8 total for birthday celebration. Make sure all of the consent forms are done prior to event for a smoother check in. 4 girls arrived on time & I Planned on arriving 15 min earlier with 4 girls but had an issue when 1 gal was late from Oakley . I called to let them know we were running late by phone, advised as long as 5 min after scheduled time was ok. Great communication by text & we made it on time - Woohoo The girls had a fun time & almost escaped. They chose prison break which was rated one of the hardest one. I did not have to chaperone inside since all were 15 yo & up but I did have to hang out close by if any issues. They Would love to do again some day. read more

Had an amazing experience at this location! My friend and I did a 2 person game of their second hardest game, the Heist for 12:20 pm on a Saturday. We checked in early and waited for our DM to reset the room. It's a great space with lots of merchandise. They have about 6 rooms and each escape has unlimited hints. It's an interesting concept in which you can bring phones with you and search up anything. You can take photos and videos as well, so different from other escape rooms. The Heist was incredible with challenging puzzles both physically and mentally. We managed to escape with only 2 players Can't wait to come here again! read more

We were looking to do an escape room for the kids and we found availability this Sunday and booked our reservations!! Staff was very friendly and friendly and receptive. Just a minus star on the reservations - we were expecting to have the room to be just our family but we received a text before our time so indicating that another party was joining us. I guess my feel is that if it says 5 spots free - it meant that we had the room to ourselves but we were grouped with another family (mom and two young kids). No issues with the other family joining in the experience but you never know who you would be paired up!! We did the cosmic event. The room was clean and functional. It was hard to hear Hermes in the space ship but outside of it. We had a wonderful time and escaped!! read more

I've done a few rooms with friends and kids, and we all loved the experiences. The rooms are very high quality with lots of unique puzzles and fun things to look at in general. It's like being at Disneyland. Every room we've been in had three rooms to solve. The stories to the rooms were creative and weren't strictly about escaping. My favorite was the baby kraken. I wish they sold a plushie version of it! read more

It was my wife's first escape room, and the kids 9 & 12 second (my third). Cosmic crisis was pretty immersive, and the kids really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back to try some of the other rooms in this location. We were able to complete the room without hints in just under an hour. Parking is at the mall, so it's conveniently located at entrance 6 near the theater/outback steakhouse. read more

We played Cosmic Crisis and enjoyed it. I especially liked how well-decorated the escape room was; it really did feel like a spaceship interior and that made it very immersive. The only downside is that games are public, so you may end up playing with strangers (up to 8 people per game). You can book out the remaining spots for 50% off to ensure a private game, but that can be costly. I do think that cosmic crisis was a little too easy for my group. We have all done escape rooms before so we did not find it too challenging. read more

Had a blast. The rooms were well set up and super modern with multiple rooms. Will definitely be back again.

Monica was so great and patient with us. Did we escape The Heist? Yes. Did we use like 50 clues? Perhaps. It was a good time!

Had an amazing experience for The Heist game. 3 of us walked in on a Sunday evening and were able to play this game with just us in the group. The clues are on point and test different types of puzzle solving skills! The game keepers are helpful too! Elyssa was great! A fun game that I'd definitely recommend! Will be back to try their other games! read more

So fun! We solved it in about 30 minutes (we had 4 brainiacs in our crew). It wasn't crazy difficult but was very entertaining.

We had a fun experience doing the Cosmic Crisis. It was very interactive and enjoyable, and we were able to escape.

Seth was an awesome game host and all the staff were welcoming and helpful! We were late to our game, but the staff was super accommodating and allowed us time to continue with our game! read more

So much fun! Staff were super informative and kind. Made it easy to follow the game for sure. I also showed up 10 minutes late. (it's easy to get lost in Great Mall)... but there were no problems checking in! My group of four did "The Depths", which was very quirky and unserious. I loved it! Underwater, science, and sealife related. Straight forward and not too difficult. My team didn't even need a hint. Perfect for beginners. read more

My friends and I have been to this location many times and done multiple rooms. Each is made with such attention to detail and creativity with the embedded puzzles. We came here for Mother's Day and we came here another time for a birthday celebration and it was so sweet to receive a signed card from Analyn, Amber, Mark, Danelle, Monica, and Jam :)) When we get stuck, the assigned staff for our room never fails to be attentive and even read the situation and kindly speak up when needed. I felt the staff has always matched their level of help/involvement perfectly with our progress and our group. Logistically, the waiver process is super fast and there's plenty of parking in the mall parking lot right outside the space (at most just need to do very minimal walking through the lot). We can't wait to watch some behind the scenes videos for the room creation, really happy we have this Escape Game in such a great location and look forward to more Epic fun!!! Thanks so much to Milpitas Staff!!! read more
