Absolutely phenomenal. We ended up doing 2 rooms here. The first room we did was the Pandemic one. I won't touch on the puzzles in there but we wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of hints. The game master is very helpful. The second room we did was Witchly Ever After and that escape room is hands down the best room I've ever been in. The puzzles supposedly scale with how quick you progress through the room, which idk how the mechanics of that work. This is their newest room and all the mechanics inside were so smooth and the audio is soooo funny. I cannot recommend this room enough. If I'm ever back in town I'm definitely coming back and trying more rooms!! read more

I tried Hotel Molly quest and I loved it! It was a challenging and interesting puzzle going through the murder happened in the hotel with some spooky vibes. The price is average for the escape rooms. There are multiple options to choose from up to 60-90 minutes for each game. There is a big parking lot, restrooms, lockers. I'd recommend! read more

Booking here was easy and they were very accommodating. My group of 3 did the Motel Molly adventure and had a blast. For a horror escape room, they explained that they could customize how intense or scary they could make it and customized it for our birthday girl. Puzzles were intuitive and solvable for a small party of 3. Staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend this place, or their other location, for any looking for a great escape room experience. read more

I recently tried the Witchly Ever After game with a few friends visiting town. The setup was well-designed, elaborate, and immersive- we loved the theme! We enjoyed the fact that the rooms required revisiting and that the puzzles varied. There's a fun little surprise at the end that made our whole group laugh. I highly recommend their newest escape game for everyone of all ages. * They have escape buttons for those who need to get out of claustrophobic situations. read more

I have been to this location twice now for escape rooms. I've done the Sorcerers Sanctum and Pandemic Zero. I think of the two I enjoyed the first more, but the puzzles in both are pretty creative! Pandemic zero is more small group friendly whereas sorcerers sanctum fits for a slightly larger group. definitely will be back for some of the other rooms! read more

Love the escape rooms here! I did the witchly ever after room for a friend's bachelorette event and it was the perfect theme. Both cute and challenging. The team was friendly and helpful w/ the game. My first time going to an escape room and it was challenging but fun. We were a party of 5 and we played the Pandemic Zero room which was a 4/5 difficulty level. Our party had a mix of first timers and some with experience. It was difficult in some of the rooms since we were overthinking some of the puzzles but not impossible to solve, especially since you can ask for hints. They allowed unlimited hints without any time deduction. I was impressed at how the room and props were so detailed and decorated really well. Had a blast at Omescape - San Jose! The place is super clean and well-maintained, which definitely adds to the immersive experience. They've got *tons* of different escape room games to choose from--great variety in themes and difficulty levels, so there's something for everyone, whether you're a newbie or a seasoned puzzle-solver. It's really easy to find, and there's a ton of parking available, which made getting in and out a breeze (big plus for the South Bay!). The only downside is that it's a little on the pricey side, especially if you're going with a group--but honestly, for the quality of the experience and the slick setup, it feels mostly worth it. I just bookmarked for a couple of years, and I finally visited it. My boyfriend and I along with his doggie were having a day out in Santa Cruz. I told him that we should visit this place so that we can swing on the beach. He was down for it, but once we found the way to get down to it--he said, "No way, I'm doing that." I *did* not let that stop me from going down there to experience the swing though. My boyfriend and his doggie stayed at the top of the cliff and watched me climbed down to the beach. Yes, it was pretty treacherous. Thank goodness there was a rope with knots to hold onto. Otherwise, I don't think I would be able to do it successfully without that lifesaver rope. Thank you so much to whoever secured that rope there! Also, I do want to point out I did this in a dress and flipflops?! Crazy right.. Then again.. I'm crazy, I do admit it. ;) There were a four gals and guys down there chilling. I asked them if there was another way to get in and out of here, but they confirm that that was the only way in and out. I got to swing on the swing and took some videos. The swing looked cool from the photos that I seen, but it doesn't swing well straight. It does swing sideways. Lol... It took me about 7 minutes to go down and about 4 minutes to climb back up. I know this because my boyfriend recorded me. Lol... I'm very grateful that I was determined to do this despite the company that I had didn't want to do it. Years ago I let someone that I was with who didn't want to do it influence me to also not do it when we visitied Alamere Falls so I won't let that happen anymore. If there is something I want to do, it's okay to do it alone when other people don't want to do it. That's on self-love, baby! There is two parking areas. We initially parked in the one right across the post office, but then we follow this group to the other one right next to it because it was closer. We walked across the railroad tracks and found the opening to the climb to the beach. I was sore for a few days afterwards in my legs from climbing the side of the cliff, but oh gosh... It was so worth it!

And when I cruise down leisurely down this glorious highway, I won't just gun the vehicle and go from destination to destination. I like to randomly stop at little towns, beaches, roadhouse eateries that's dotted along the way. There are so many beaches on highway 1. I'm still exploring around myself. Pulled in onto this beach as they had a big parking area on the cliffside. This is in-between Santa Cruz and Half Moon Bay, super close to the road that you can take to go to Big Basin. This is not a lying around type of beach. It is very raw and very windy for some reason. Lots of seabirds on parts of the beach, lots of stranded seaweed and due to the wind, lots of white water surf. And a big attraction here actually is due to the surf and wind conditions. Lots of surfers and wind-surfers here that it'll catch your eye even from the highway. Wind surfers are these skilled and brave souls that go out in rough seawater with a parachute like apparatus connected to them, as so they can take flight and take leaps almost at bird level. And they are able to surf more waves without being pounded by rough waves, as they are able to jump from wave to wave via air/wind. Even tho it was too windy for me to sit out there for longer than 30 minutes, it was a blast watching these guys bounce and float around in what would otherwise be dangerous waters. I'm eventually going to knock out all the beaches from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay, and this one was a special one to knock out.

I was nervous having never even visited the place and only going off of another parents recommendation but the staff gave me direct communication as I continuously checked in (shout out to LuLu) and she provided me the comfort of knowing he's having fun and he told me he wasn't ready to come home until the last min of his day. He is excited to go again. He talked about the fun he had that days for several days after. I would def recommend trying it out even if it's just for one time. I'm sure your kid will talk you into coming again.

I had such a great time at Omescape San Jose! Our group was looking for something fun and challenging, and this place absolutely delivered. The moment we stepped into the room, the set design and atmosphere pulled us right into the story. The puzzles were clever, varied, and kept everyone engaged ,nothing felt repetitive or too easy. We were constantly shouting ideas back and forth and celebrating every time we solved something. The game masters were friendly and helpful, and the hints (when we needed them!) were just enough to keep us moving without giving anything away. It really felt like a perfect balance of challenge and fun. If you're looking for a super immersive escape room with high-quality production and puzzles that make you think, Omescape is definitely worth checking out. I had an absolute blast at Escape Rooms! My friends and I tried the "Lost Temple" room, and it was hands-down one of the best escape experiences we've ever had. The puzzles were clever and immersive, blending physical challenges with brain-teasing riddles that kept us on our toes the whole time. The theme was spot-on with detailed props and atmospheric lighting that made us feel like we were actually exploring an ancient ruin. The staff was super friendly and helpful without giving away any spoilers--they gave us just the right amount of hints when we got stuck. This review is for the customer service I received over the phone. Less than an hour after sending a message on their website, Andy gave me a call. I didn't pick up but he answered my questions and offered many suggestions. I called him back and he picked up and then continued to go above and beyond, every time answering every minute detail I had concerning this establishment. I am thoroughly impressed. Good customer service is something you can't reach but it can be learned and my goodness does Andy have the customer service chops. Saw this place from Yelp and came on a weekend. This place definitely is a five-star experience! From the moment you stepped in the room you can know this is something different from other games you've ever played. Teamwork is crucial at this place. Everyone needs to throw in their ideas in solving the puzzles and don't afraid to try different ways to hopefully make the puzzles work! The set design and theming was AMAZING!!! It was like being inside a horror themed Disneyland! It felt truly magical and supernatural with hidden compartments, words and lights appearing on the walls, and moving jumpscares! The puzzles were tricky but not too obscure, enough that we could get them relatively quickly and still feel clever for having figured it out! This is a great place for a fun night. Not my favorite escape room in the area but they do have some lovely rooms. They are more high tech then other places so some of the puzzles do rely on electricity and such. Now Please remember, this is an escape room. We went for the Kingdom of Cats. It was great! The kids enjoyed it. Very challenging and fun. Well-designed rooms and the puzzles connect with each other very well. We went for a friend's birthday and exceeded all expectations. We did the Dark Altar room and had a blast. The puzzles were hard but not impossible. The room was engaging and ominous without being too creepy. We finished the room just as the timer was going off. It was so much fun and we are absolutely doing it again. read more

I didn't get to finish by the 60 mins they gave but I was pretty close!! I tried the dark altar escape room and it was super fun!! Will definitely come back again to try the other rooms! Although we enjoyed the general plot of the scavenger hunt and liked the experience of narrowing down who the culprit was, we felt that the clues were excessively specific, as we had to skim through every label in each area of the museum to get the information we needed. I think we would've preferred more general clues where you could still enjoy the information in that area of the museum without having to work so hard to search through each line of text. I also felt like the clues given were not very connected to the objects in the museum, and the plot of the mystery didn't seem very relevant to the setting of the museum. This took us out of the environment of the museum and made the experience less enjoyable. I felt that the length of was too long at 2.5 hours, although if the clues hadn't been as specific, perhaps we would have been less mentally exhausted at the end. We felt that it was fairly easy to narrow down the culprit with a handful of clues, so I think it would have made for far more intrigue if the clues were more directly tied to the plot and involved more thinking rather than just piecing together tidbits of information. My biggest qualm was the price of the scavenger hunt. I felt like paying $60 for to cover the cost of the museum admission, the video at the beginning of the scavenger hunt, and the website that was made for the scavenger hunt was very unreasonable. An average escape room in the area is about $40 to $50, and escape rooms have much more upfront expenses for the organizers, including the cost of renting the space, the elaborate props, and the staffing. This was a fairly enjoyable one-time experience, but in the future I would just go to an escape room.

Tal provided accurate descriptions of how each experience would be and what are the available options. Tal was very patient while I sorted out the date of the event and also the experience we wanted. Not going to give any spoilers on the event but we chose the Escape from haunted mansion. The event was held in Sports Page Bar where our team of 17 members split into five groups. The puzzles to solve were very creative and simulates your brain. Also is good team building experience where we need to work as a team and individually to escape within the time. As part of the experience we all got a drink/snack as complimentary. To top it all Tal gave a nice prize/gift to the winning team. Lastly I would like to highlight the amazing customer experience where we booked for 19 people and only 17 people turned up. Tal was able to get us the refund for the two no shows. I will be definitely excited to try out their other scavenger hunts in the upcoming years.

We arrived 15 min early to get situated, we paid for a separate room to put our personal belongings in and waited until we were called to the briefing room. We had around a group of 25+ people so our session only included our own group. We got instructions in the briefing room and was off putting our gear on. It was a free for all style of play, everyone player for themselves. I was surprised to see how big the room was and the also had second story which adds another dynamic during the play. You can shoot off mirrors to ricochet to hit sensors on the other players. It was quite engaging and a ton of fun. Our girls are ages 7 and 9 and they got a hang of how to play right away. Surprisingly, the parents had just as much fun, if not more! The session lasted around 15-20 minutes if I had to estimate and it was definitely enough time to enjoy. The biggest surprise was how much of a workout it was. Every parent mentioned that they were sweating and got a good workout in. They recognize every player including the top 3 scores at the end. You can purchase by session - we decided to do 2 and I think it was the perfect amount. After our first session, there was a group in between to give us a much needed break and we went back in. I recommend coming here with your kids for a family event or even a group event. I am planning to look at birthday party options for my kids bday party later this year. Very well organized party though with the check in and the ln having a round of laser tag then a break and then another round and then pizza and drinks in a private room. There are arcades and the kids all wanted to play on the arcades during the break so be prepared for that. They had a big fridge with lots of different sodas and drinks for the kids to pick from after the second round. They also took care of all the clean up. Friendly and helpful staff.
