Most of the puzzles are solving combinations for locks. I like this, but some people like different types of puzzles. Rooms were nicely themed too. I've done 2 of the 4 games, I hope to do the other 2. It's a step below Escape Game and Omescape, but half the price for an individual game. Definitely will come again.

Making the RSVP was easy on their website, including signing the waivers in advance. Entering the lobby, we were warmly greeted by the staff, and there's lockers to store your items. There's also a water dispenser and bathroom available before heading into your escape room. The staff member gave us clear instructions about their rules before walking us to padded room, which was where we started off with in the insane asylum. You truly get the full immersive experience with the background music, props, and set up of the three rooms. We escaped with the support of hints given by the game master. Thanks for having us and what a great way to pre-game Halloween this month!

Our experience, like others, was soured by the game master…read more We played Wild West and the room itself was good and we would have left it five stars, but the guy was so unpleasant. When we got there, there was nobody in the office. When he finally got back, minutes later, he asked when we could get started. No apologies, no explanation of timing. When we went in the room, my daughter asked if we had unlimited hints. He said no- if she asked for too many hints, he would tell her that she was asking for too much. Every interaction with him was unpleasant and unhelpful. When we got out, he just walked up and said "Want a picture?" I then asked if we made it out, because we just opened the door to a hallway. There was no commentary on the fact that we had made it out, that we had 12 minutes to spare, or anything else. Every other escape room we have done has a dedicated game master that seems enthusiastic and walked us through the puzzles at the end. Not this guy. He said yes we made it, took our photos, and walked out. Looks like he might have been the only one working on all of the rooms. So, I guess all of the groups got the same unpleasant experience.

With a group, during this month, was the best way and time we could think of to enjoy the Halloween month, with a mystery! Great place for an escape room experience!…read more Went here with 2 of my other buddies to meet the 3 person minimum. We booked the same day for The Spy Room. I was surprised to see how cheap it was compared to other places in the area. Tickets here are $35-37 per person. The room itself was quite challenging. The puzzles were really good and some gave us a run for our money, but we managed to escape with ~5 minutes left. Overall, I think this is a great place for an escape room experience.

You grab the ingredients, you spread on the toppings with both arms, and you dance it all around. That is how we got warmed up to race. Parking, at 7:15 was fast and right across the street: $10 Packet pick-up: Easy cheesy. Porto potties: At least they had them, right? Bag check: Free! They have a security guard watching over them. Obstacles: An adult playground. There was a back-up at the first obstacle, as they wanted people to get into groups of 8. That wasn't working, so it was more like awkward waves. A large bouncy pad with about 6 semi-tall barriers you launch yourself over. It was surprisingly challenging. There were: Two elevated slip & slides into shallow pools of water. One was supposed to have foam but it wasn't pumping correctly. A huge swirling cross pad, you had to run with it or against it along a narrow platform. Inflated balls that you had to balance and jump across. I made it onto the first one and couldn't stand up to launch to the next, so I flung off the side and laughed as I bounced to the ground. An inner tube water slide into a pool of water. A leap of faith onto an inflated bulls eye. Two huge rotating balls that chased you, as you tried to run across a slippery plank. I almost made it but lost my footing on the last step, splooosh! Two large stair/rope climbs to slides. The last one will give you a wedge. We only waited a couple of minutes to take an optional finisher photo and they handed us our medals. I love the photo opportunities, you scan your bracelet before you get onto the obstacle and they snap a picture of you. Bouncy, bouncy,..fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.

As soon as I stepped onto it I sunk so far I could feel the ground underneath my feet. I'm not exactly heavy either at 102lb. ''Jumping'' from one to the other was in no way possible nor an option. That's some lass ass bs excuse of an obstacle. Previous years this has been my favorite. - No foam on the ''Foam of Fury'', just water. Seriously?! - Not enough water on the ''Cool'' Running's''. Out of the 40 or so people that I saw tried to go down it they all had to get off and walk to the the end (where you are supposed to land in the pool) because friction had them stop. Myself included. Lame. - VIP entry I got my tech shirt upgrade but Hubs didn't. + You actually got a medal this year. + Vendors after the event handing out drinks. Neutral: You had a tag on your wristband which you swipe at obstacles to indicate you wanted your picture taken. I'm neutral on this because for the price of the registration fee I feel this should be included. My advice for the event organizers - Have the obstacles as advertised and either 1. reduce the price of registration (upwards of $65 plus fee's for a 5k is obscene) 2. Add more obstacles.

Met up with Rick (owner/operator) and Matt (guide) at Castle Rock state park as instructed. Pretty easy drive from downtown SF to get there by 8am on a Saturday. Rick was great. We showed up somewhat less than prepared, no snacks, limited water, forgot the waivers and no bug spray. Between Rick and Matt, they patched us together and we had a blast. We're from IL, so clearly Novice level, but the location offered a variety of climbs to broaden skills while keeping it fun. What struck me first as we entered the event hall was the incredible popularity of the event, Just by looking at the burgeoning crowd. And yes, the legos. There were legos everywhere! Two big lego piles (one pile with the larger duplo blocks the other with the smaller blocks) were set up in two places in the hall where kids could climb the piles, sit and build on the piles or as my son did, simply run with his friend all over the blocks and feel the legos crackling under his feet. There were superhero figures made of legos close by the entrance making for excellent photo opps...characters like the Incredible Hulk, the Ninja warriors, Batman, Superman, Iron Man and many many more. The Chima stall was crowded and the line was incredibly long to get in. In fact, there were lines for practically everything, The lego fest was also a launchpad for the new Lego Mindtorms and the line to personally try the robots in action led almost all the way to the exit. There was a Lego workshop with demos and more than one build area where one could create ones own lego action figures and even add to the Lego collection of architectural landmarks set up inside an enclosed zone. The Lego Art Gallery afforded another area for expression of lego creativity and of course, the craziest, busiest place of all- the Lego store area where parents and kids flocked to purchase lego sets of all types. All in all, a fun if slightly maddening experience. Might return next year coz there are things for kids of all ages to do and of course, one couldn't help seeing lots of parents having a blast building lego creations of their own.
