As someone who is far from an artist--I can barely manage stick figures--and who doesn't practice meditation, I found the sessions incredibly relaxing. Watching myself create 'art' by choosing and applying colors, seeing them flow across the canvas under my control, was immensely satisfying. The absence of any need to conform to mainstream definitions of art was a revelation I never knew I needed. I enjoyed the freedom to create without pressure. Overall, Crystal, was a joy to work with. She provided all the necessary materials, explained the concept clearly, and then allowed everyone to explore it at their own pace. There was no rushing, no judgment--just the opportunity to be myself. Thank you for letting us be a part of this wonderful experience. I will definitely be signing up for another workshop.

There are just so many cool and different activities to choose from! I tried both the fluid art experience on canvas and the "bear brick" figurines in the sip and drip session, as well as the mental wellness exercise on canvas. Both were quite different but super relaxing, calming, and just plain fun. I'm not naturally super artistic, but Crystal makes it all fun and light with no pressure. The pieces I created came alive right before my eyes. The fluid nature of the art really let me "let it flow," and Crystal's prompts and guidance on creating something display-worthy were perfect--not too overbearing or stressful. The great thing was I was able to meet other like-minded individuals and groups in my session and was able to see their beautiful and creative creations as well! I definitely want to do this again and bring a friend or five :) It's a fun idea for a date night or a friends' sip and drip party! I might even bring my work group here for a team-building event!! The instructor is an artist called Nancy, who also worked for many years in the school district as art teacher. She is very nice and can provide advice and helpful tips. The other people at the workshop were also very nice, some of them had been there before. I felt quite welcome and among friends. The workshop also provided a few snacks such as crackers, ham cheese, brownies, soft drinks. The workshop for the Christmas tree was split in two days because on the first day you have to glue the mosaic to the tree and on the second day, you apply the grout. So make sure that you have allocated enough time in your calendar for both. it was quite a relaxing workshop and I found that I actually slept much better overnight, which was an added benefit! I really enjoyed myself and hope to check out their calendar for other workshops to take. The studio is at the back of the instructors house and it is also open during weekends over certain hours for open studio. I noticed that some of the people working on their own pieces during open studio were doing some phenomenal pieces. There is a huge assortment of mosaic that you can use in your creations. Highly recommended.

I went with a friend, and even though I was running a few minutes behind, the setup was flexible enough that she was able to save a spot for me right next to her. Our instructor was fantastic, kind, funny, professional, and incredibly patient with everyone in the room. She made the process look effortless but was right there to help us whenever we needed it. We were given a few different options for what to create, and I chose to make a set of coasters. My only minor critique is the time management for the workshop. I wish we had a dedicated few minutes just to brainstorm and sketch out our designs before the actual crafting clock started ticking. Because brainstorming ate into our studio time, it cut it a little close at the end and I felt a bit rushed to finish--though my coasters still ended up turning out pretty great! Once you finish your piece, they kiln-fire and glaze it for you, and it's ready for pickup in about a week. Overall, it's a wonderful creative outlet and a perfect activity to do with friends. I'd definitely recommend it!

I ordered drinks and snacks since we were going to dinner later, and they were fresh. Appreciated the variety of items on the boards. Kudos to the manager who rounded up an office chair for me from somewhere as they only have barstools to sit on in the studio which I can't use. In 2 hours, we all had a painting to take home. Nothing was varnished and they don't offer to ship items.

The first 20-30min was the demo & we wish that it could've been interactive 'follow along' exercise. Great way to get your hands working & molding.
