Good bakery in Princeton with a cute interior. Their sourdough bread is excellent and their zucchini bread is my favorite treat. Also got a cappuccino and caught up with a friend, so perfect for an afternoon.

Bread Boutique opened last month in Eclair Cafe's old location on Witherspoon. They're a bread store owned by the same hospitality group as Chez Alice, Peacock Inn, and Proof. They carry a range of loaves, viennoiseries, bread rolls, cookies, sandwiches, drinks, and some weekend specials like challah and babka. There's limited seating inside, similar to the set-up when it was Eclair Cafe. Their breads are shipped in every morning from the same off-site facility that makes Chez Alice's baked goods. I only tried a few items here but wasn't a fan: they were dry and a bit commercial tasting, comparable to Terra Momo across the street. I think Little Chef and The Pastry Room are better options for viennoiseries downtown, and Lost Bread Co at the farmers market and Lillipies in the shopping center both have better bread in my opinion.

Went here on a Sunday morning to kill some time and tried their pistachio croissant and a latte. The croissant was nice and flaky but not my fav pistachio filling inside. I enjoyed their croissant. There are a few tables but it was quiet while I was there and everyone else was just in and out. I'd go back to try their other pastry options or their bread

Their limited offered item: Pistachio croissant was amazing! If you love nutty & buttery flavors, this is the one! The filling was way too much that it kept dripping down while I was eating the croissant! The croissant shell was crunchy but soft inside. It was perfect cream filled croissant I've ever had so far!!

Quiche (bacon) is so dry and no flavors at all. Chicken salad, taste very mush and powdery taste to it.

Take a look at the photo. $5. Raised their prices and the quality has gone down size has gotten much smaller. They were doing so well, but they seem to have made some poor choices. Some of this may truly be because of rent and cost of materials. Don't know what the proper answer for that is but just be aware that they have changed.

This place was very cute and conveniently right next to Princeton University! I got the croissant and a tea. Both we very good. The restaurant is really bright and trendy.

It is a beautiful cafe !!

It is a beautiful cafe and pastry is delicious!! The staffs bring your coffee to your table that I did not expect. But they don't have enough tables when it is crowded. But I absolutely love this cafe and would like to visit whenever I go to the Princeton University area .

Pistachio filled croissant was incredible! Several small tables for seating. Would definitely come back to try other pastries!

Normally we stay away from pasta restaurants unless there's something unique to it. However, Pastiamo hit a home run immediately. From Chef Francesca being ever present in the restaurant - from serving to seating - to the homemade focaccia you receive as a starter, it was an impeccable dining experience. Then you add the nice plates and simple, yet warm decor. You just can't go wrong. We split the forza Italia as an appetizer to get more of a focaccia kick. We loved the homemade bread. The three cheeses were a nice and complimentary touch. Also, dousing this with some freshly squeezed orange juice didn't hurt. For the main course, we split a pesto gnocchi and a tagliatelle alla Norma. The pasta was truly homemade. Felt super fresh. The sauces were great and not too oily or salty. It was so good that we decided to bring some home to my parents. We will be back again!

I'd like to share how pleased I am about this tea cafe. I came here on a cold and snowy Saturday,…read morebecause my friends live nearby and I was going over their house to hang out, but I wanted to get tea first. The employees behind the counter were cheerful, and they say a phrase in Japanese that means, "welcome," which is a nice touch. The first thing I noticed in the shop was the matcha mill. They actually have two matcha mills running the entire time, and the employee later told me that it's milling and grinding the matcha to get the freshest matcha possible. Grinding and serving the matcha from its fresh ground state really makes their matcha stand out, and I could definitely tell. I was thinking about getting a cold matcha anyway because I didn't want to microwave it later, but they informed me that their machine for hot matcha wasn't working. That is not the best situation for people who wanted a hot drink, especially since it was so cold and damp outside, but I was really interested in a cold drink anyway, so it didn't really bother me. I got their red bean matcha with oat milk, and I was so happy when I drank it because it tasted like actual real matcha. I've gotten matcha at Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts and I haven't expected anything phenomenal, but I've also gotten matcha at matcha shops and the matcha just doesn't taste right because it was too sweet. This matcha, however, tasted exactly the way matcha should taste! I really, really enjoyed my drink so much, and they serve it unsweetened. I didn't even need to put sweetener in it, but I did put a tiny bit of simple syrup. All I have to say is definitely try this place. You will not be disappointed. Their matcha is amazing, and I am going back to this place every time I visit my friend's house.
