Soooo good!! We got the dip sampler and every single one was great and fresh. Spicy feta was def a favorite. We both got chicken souvlaki for our meals and it was so good! We will definitely be back soon!!

I had the tyropitakia bites, they were good but those Zucchini croquettes were amazing and the star of the show was the tzatziki sauce!! I wanted to put that on everything!! For my main course I did the Oven roasted lemon chicken. Very flavorful! Will definitely get that again!!

My sister took me here. She had an unpleasant experience the first visit she encountered the chef was yelling to the employee that works as a hostess and a server. Not sure who owns the place but definitely needs to control the chef. I believe potential customers wanted to eat here and my sister and potential customers overhead the chef screaming to tell the newly seated customer to leave because he doesnt want to cook. The time when my sister took me here I wanted to get waffle/pancake and i was told the chef doesnt want to make it.

I've yet to make it to Greece, but the Market on Main delivers a Taste of Greece right in downtown Cranbury. The little eatery has outdoor as well as indoor seating. The outside front porch on Main Street is so quaint and reminds me off another time. The first floor and upstairs dining area are both very open and roomy. Everything from the Veggie Reggie, Greek Sammy, to the Gyros, to the Waffles have been simply wonderful. They also have various Greek sweets, some of which are imported from Greece. There is also cheese available by the pound. I've been here several times for breakfast, lunch and coffee. In addition to the wonderful food, the owner Penny and Manager, Irene, are both so lovely and friendly. Irene has been very accommodating upon every visit. It's wonderful to see a small family run business in the heart of Cranbury.

This is such a cute place. It is a market and restaurant combined. Set up is very nice, clean and welcoming. They have a variety of items ranging from cheese, olives to regional desserts Food; menu is very interesting. Traditional but rich menu Service; you order at the counter and they bring you your food Parking; ample parking on the street Value; it seems like a great value for the food

This place is as good as it gets. Authentically run. Delicious market items, desserts, and jewelry around the shop. The chicken gyro was extremely flavorful and juicy. Generous on Tzatziki sauce. Nice menu selection and everything I've had has been fresh and finely crafted. There is ample seating upstairs and a nice outdoor patio for the summer. This place is a must try!

Market on Main is wonderful and we will definitely come back. The service was great, the restaurant is very clean, and our meals were delicious. We got the gyro, chicken souvlaki, and plump chef chicken sandwich. Also can't recommend the desserts enough!

    Goodies for the road

We were in the area looking for a place to eat. With a high rating and Greek food offering we decided on The Market on Main and boy were we glad we did. It was between lunch and dinner and we were hungry. We ordered the spinach triangles and grape leaves, 2 of our favorites. For our main course we ordered the classic gyro and a full Greek salad. The spinach triangles were AMAZING both crunchy and so so very flaky!!! Yummmm! Served with a homemade tsatziki sauce (couldn't get enough). Best ever! Stuffed Grape leaves were delish and were abundant. The Greek salad was huge and fresh with a mild lemon dressing. So good. Then for the classic gyro. Filled with that delicious gyro meat and of course, the amazing tsatziki sauce. And, yes, there's more, the Greek fries. Somewhat seasoned with a bit of feta. So very good!! Needless to say, we enjoyed our meal. The servers were so very polite. While we were talking with the crew out came Sakina, the baker, with a beautiful cake (see the photo) that was being sent to a birthday party elsewhere. Do call her for a unique birthday cake. Don't pass up a chance to have a fabulous meal with a special group of workers!

We succeeded in both respects, saving over $20 a week in Java fees and thoroughly enjoying our handiwork as we controlled our filtered water and fresh ingredients throughout the process. But, yesterday I found myself out and about - out of coffee and about to take drastic action to remedy this problem. I looked up as I drove through Cranbury, NJ, and saw a sign for Lyberry Cafe in a newish commercial strip on the south side of town. The Universe provides. I pulled in, parked and walked in to a chill large warehouse-looking space with painted library walls on one end with comfy leatheresque easy chairs and small tables for privacy, and a long row of tables/wooden benches/chairs along running the length of the deep room and partially across from the service area. I had to acknowledge feeling passing strange being in a cafe for the first time in a long while, but I managed to check their menu and order a small Americano to go before taking a seat at the end table closest to the door. Why not sit and relax for a few before returning to my wheels? It wasn't crowded around noon, and the folks seemed like they were settled in for a while. Some working; most chatting. I sipped the strong steaming hot joe. Yep! Definitely strong enough to remove the wearies and retune me up for my afternoon agenda. Still, couldn't help feeling a little out of place. Just spending money for commercial coffee, once so commonplace; but now so strangely wasteful put me in touch with how transitory some habits are. Three average caffeinated stars for the ho-hum of this or any such consumption outpost. I think I have lost my Lyberry card.

The front counter/kitchen/Rapid Pick-up Shelf are all located in the front of the store, which is convenient for grab-and-go. The layout of the rest of the store is kind of weird though. The 4-6 touchscreen kiosks are awkwardly spaced across two round tables whose main purpose appears to be wasting floor space. The bar seating along the windows has excellent views of Scudders Mill Road and the wooden deck outside, which has additional seating. The remainder of the indoor seating is in a horseshoe formation which wraps around the beverage island and ends in a nook, where many a giggling teenager can be seen on weekends. Instead of placing cups outside by the kiosks for self-service, this Panera seems to hoard all its cups behind the counter, which is typical for locations in urban neighborhoods or mall food courts but unusual for a suburban standalone location. It's not hard to guess why, but waiting 10 minutes just to get a paper cup is pretty lame. The hot water carafe was obviously not cleaned thoroughly during my last visit as the water it dispensed tasted like coffee and soap suds, which is fine if you want your Earl Grey tea to taste like dishwasher. By the way, this location has no buzzers, so if you place an order for dine-in a food runner will be offering your meal to everyone else before it gets to you.

Well, their fast-food Moses apparently never made it down to their Plainsboro, NJ location to anoint the unwashed. Two sandwiches, a lukewarm soup, a Romaine-less Romaine Salad (more supply chain excuse making) and a beverage serving station that would make any mischievous toddler squeal with delight over the sticky, dirty train wreck occurring in real time where the guava lemonade and other new age concoctions go to avoid a sponge and a mop. And no less infuriating... barely any change back from my Fifty. I'm now officially nostalgic for the days when the worst Panera would do was try to upsell me on some grossly overpriced cookies. I can only dream. Two stars.
