Do not waste your money at Braselton Brewing. My wife and I ordered burgers. They were burned on one side and very well done. Service was terrible. We ordered appetizers that came out very quickly. Never saw our waiter until we were done with the appetizers. Then he took our order. We waited a very long time for our burgers to come out. Then it took forever to get our bill. We ate here when it first open and noting has changed. Bottom line food and service sucked. read more

What an amazing place to bring your family - if you so choose! The food menu is on par for pub fare, but the quality of what comes out of the kitchen is superior. We tried a variety of items and came away pleased with all of them. They have four in-house beers that are all pretty good. The porter is something to really write home about. It's not a huge place, so like any other restaurant it's not an appropriate place for your children to roam around, but it's a great spot in downtown Braselton where you won't burn a hole in your wallet to feed a family. Everything is reasonably priced. Interesting that a place where another reviewer said should be 21+ only has hi-chairs available and baby changing stations in the restrooms. It's as if they're trying to cater to families... go figure. We'll certainly be back! read more

We've visited Braselton Brewery a handful of times. The chicken tenders are great, burgers are big and tasty, the sidewinder fries & mac n cheese are always a hit. Don't forget to order the jalapeño ranch as well - SO good. Staff is always friendly and welcoming, occasionally service can be slow. However, anytime we have Tricia as our waitress she is always so attentive and great. I'm not a big beer drinker so I haven't tried anything besides their cider which is okay, 7/10. My husband has tried their lighter beers and enjoys them. They have a front and back patio plus indoor dining & are dog friendly which is a plus on nice days. Went with a group of 13 on a Friday night around 7pm. Seating is first come first served, with no call ahead or reservations. Pros- friendly staff, great building and atmosphere, burgers and sweet potato tots are amazing! Mac and cheese and fries were good as well. Overall, a very strong 3 or solid 4 for food. 5 for building, atmosphere and staff. Having said all of the above, they are very clear that they are primarily a brewery not a restaurant. Which leads to some of the cons below. If you are going in to sit in the bar area for drinks only (I didn't), I would imagine it's a 4-5 experience. Prices for food were fair. Cons- You stand in line to order your food at the counter, pay and take a number to your table. The issue with this is that there was very little space for the line that formed to order food. Line didn't move quickly. If you want a beverage that doesn't have free refills (beer/wine) you have to go back up, get in line, and pay again. Just sort of clumsy process when you first walk in. Again, however, they advertise as a brewery. After 10pm they only serve fried foods or salads... nothing grilled. Overall, I love the thought of adding another option for a restaurant in the Braselton area and this place is very unique. I hope for their sake, there is enough demand for the brewery aspect of the business. Otherwise, they may have to rethink their approach to customers wanting the option of more traditional restaurant service. Will definitely go back and knowing the little quirks about ordering, having only fried food after 10pm, etc will help adjust expectations. If you live in the area, well worth the visit, especially if you're looking for a brewery over a sit down dinner!I UPDATE- been a couple more times with friends since the original visit/review. Now that I know the ordering process, it's easier to navigate. I still find the whole sit down dinner ordering process clumsy. On the positive side, the turkey Greek burger is Amazing and worth a visit in and of itself. Overall, leaving rating as is. read more

Tried to eat here tonight but was told they couldn't serve us bc of our party size. 12 total, 6 that were children. We told them most of the kids would be sharing plates. We offered to split into smaller tables. They still said they wouldn't seat us and we should go somewhere else. They had no one else waiting and empty tables inside and outside. Horrible service. We waited over an hour for the food. Some of the food was luke warm when it came out. The beer was good. I suggest you order two at a time as you will not see the wait staff for a very long time after they seat you. Management must be blind not to see that people were waiting forever. Update: the Manager/Owner told my husband she would comp our bill for the quality and lack of service we had experienced. After thinking that didn't happen, my husband spoke to her and she checked and confirmed it was credited but takes a few days to post. She was right and I did see the credit post to my account. I was also contacted by the owner who apologized and assured me they would make it right and do better. I appreciated their willingness to reach out and that they are working to make the experience better. So I'm making this a 3 star, looking forward to trying again and giving them a 5 star soon! Really wanted to try this place since I had seen posts from friends about it. We arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday night and they had a sign taped to the door that said something like, "Sorry we are full and at capacity". We stood there trying to decide what to do when the hostess told us to come on in. (Not sure how long that sign stayed on the door., it was turned around when we left a couple hours later.) We put our name on the list and were told it would be 30-35 minutes. We did receive a table number in about 35 minutes and were told to order then go upstairs to our table. The order process is really odd, you have to order, get your own drink then Go sit at your table, ours was upstairs at the community table (you sit with others). We ordered the pretzel and beer cheese appetizer which was amazing and the reason this review gets a 2 star and not 1. The appetizer came out quickly so we had high hopes. Everyone in our party of 5 ordered a burger. At least 30 minutes passed and finally 2 meals appeared. One had the wrong side item, and one burger was burned to a crisp, but no one was around to help (they don't have servers only food runners) so they didn't say anything. About 10 minutes later, two more burgers come out, again, one had Mac and cheese instead of onion rings. We mentioned it to the food runner, she took the entire tray (instead of just the crock of Mac and cheese) and left without an apology, just turned around and left with the food. She returned a little while later 10 min) with the burger and onion rings and literally dropped the tray on the table, didn't say a word of apology or ask if things were ok, and gave us an eye roll as she left. It was so rude that the other people sitting at our table noticed it and said they would have gone off on that girl for being so overtly rude. By this point, 20-25 minutes have gone by since the first 2 got their food and we are still missing the 5th burger (mine). My husband goes to check and a few minutes later they showed up with my burger. The first two people have finished eating by now (30 min after the first 2 were served). Unfortunately my burger was burned too, the bun was burned, the lettuce wilted and it was not edible. By this point we had been at our table more than an hour and my food was served burnt. My husband took the tray and went downstairs to the manager, the manager said she would have them remake everything. We waited another 20-30 minutes for the food to come out again. By this point, we had been there 2 hours and just wanted to go. I tried the burger when I got home and the bun was fine, but the burger was too chargrilled (again) to the point that you can't taste any of the beef but the burned outside. We will not go back for a meal, maybe we will try it again for just beer and pretzels in a few months. I hope they address the service and order flow issues. It is a cool atmosphere but clearly they bave some operational issues to address. read more

This was our first visit to Braselton Brewing and we had a great experience. The service and atmosphere were both wonderful. We had the chips and guac which was awesome, and tried 4 different beers which we really enjoyed. This brewery is new-ish and still working on perfecting their recipes but they are off to a roaring start here! Tons of space and again, such nice people. Today I witnessed a family being turned down for service due to being a big group. I had came here once for my sons 20th birthday with our friends and family. At the time we were a group of 15. We were happily serviced and everything was great. It is very sad to see how different people are treated by laziness in the service industry & racism. They were paying customers as we all are. Disappointed with our first visit because the while the venue is great and the idea of being able to have your dog and/or your kid with you are such a great combination, the staff was not overly friendly and some were downright rude. Odd because we are not typically the type to be treated this way. We walked in ready to indulge in food and beer sampling but left with a bad taste of bad attitudes. Not sure whether they were confused or simply uninterested in making first time visitors comfortable, but we will be sticking with our other local brewery. Really want this place to succeed but we've been 5 times now and only one good experience. Service is terrible, employees are rude and the food is sub par. I hate that they don't try harder or hire happy people. Got there close to closing and they were so rude and condescending. Wings don't come with Ranch or Blue Cheese and we were treated like idiots for not knowing that. They take you're beer glass at closing time and pour into plastic because they can't wait to get out of there. Also noticed the 72 rating on Health inspection! No surprise there. We went here today after attending the farmers market down the road. I think we were there maybe 15 minutes. That is another story. My wife and I decided to sit at the bar for a few beverages and some food. The beer we selected was excellent. We really don't go for those crazy flavored, fry fruit, types of beer. We must have liked it because we had 3 pints each. I had a burger and she had the beer brat. They were both fantastic and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back. We don't have a place like this in Gainesville. The staff were wonderful and the place looked great. There was a good crowd there as well. Good beer and it is awesome that the company has figured out the whole COVID thing without the whole mask wearing thing. The hostess wears a face-shield as does the lovely server behind the bar Patrons walk in without masks and some of them think that brown skinned people are from another planet. Try drinking a beer with someone staring at you!! The hostess with the face-shield approaches you with her face shield lifted(so what's the point!??) Nice to have a local brewery that has great tasting beer. You do have to order at the bar and you are given a number for your table. That includes anything you order. There are no servers here, if you are looking for the typical restaurant where you have one, this isn't the place. This place has the potential to be cool but it lacks a TON of attention. Customer service was the worst I've ever experienced at a brewery. Extremely unprofessional. Signage is unclear and menu is average (out of a lot of items). Felt more like a dive bar than a brewery. Workers were eating food out on the floor and sharing inside jokes over the mic. They were adamantly kicking us out 20 minutes before closing time...and celebrated when we left at closing time. (There were only 4 of us and we stayed for an hour and a half...ordered apps and beers...just an average group of friends hanging out and keeping to ourselves). A couple friends and I went to check this place out. The process of how you order up front and go find a seat wasn't clear at first since we decided to sit outside. Stood in line to order food and drinks. I got my food and almost finished it before they had to go ask for theirs (which was ordered just after mine) and it had been sitting under the heat lamps for who knows how long. The cider I got I was unhappy with, so I asked if taking it back to get something else was an option and the guy told me to just grin and bear it!!! First visit to this newish place and will definitely be making the 30 min drive back. Started with the garlic cheese curds, moved on to a Philly cheesesteak and a burger. We stumbled in shortly after opened for the day , I am two weeks out of hospital but enjoying venturing out a little on this day , we tried several beers in 3 oz pour. Braselton as a city needed an attraction, and this is a great start! The food was great along with great prices. The food was actually better than the beer. The beer choices were good, but could have been better. The ones we tasted were not as described, however. The customer service was sub par. There is a lot of confusion between the employees, and there needs to be a greater/host to help new people since you have to go up to the counter to order food and drinks. It wasn't very busy, so ordering at the counter wasn't an issue, but it would be very inconvenient to continuously have to wait in line every time you need something on a busy day. More servers, not food runners, servers are a must. They did give us a free sample of the popcorn and asked for our opinion and that was nice that they are taking customer feedback to improve. This would be a cool complimentary addition to the brewery aspect! read more
