The food is nothing to write home about! Good service with the ambiance lacking. Beer could be much colder!

I would leave a review of the brewery from memory, because I have been there dozens and dozens of times. However, when they turn you in about 50 of your friends away at 6:30 on a Sunday night, really difficult to give you guys a great review. Very disappointed in the burgers. They use to be great. Now...they don't ask your temperature preference and it was dry and overcooked...possibly precooked earlier as the food came out quickly. No more sweet potato fries but tots and they were ok. My dog loved them. Stout was delicious however. read more

My husband and I came here on a Wednesday evening around 5:30 and it wasn't crowded at all. We placed our order at the front and then took our table number and went out to the back patio area and grabbed a couple spots at one of the picnic benches set up out there. Some people mentioned it being weird to have to order up front but I didn't find it that unusual and the food runners asked us if we needed anything so it still felt like someone was taking care of you once you sat down. Anyway, the outside is nice and shaded with big sail shades and there are a handful of picnic benches along with chairs lined up against the building as bar type seating. Love the doggy water bowls everywhere and the provided poop bag/trash can! Totally would want to bring our kids back with us and probably the dogs :) My husband did a beer flight and then ordered another pint. I had a hard cider- not made by braselton brewing. My husband liked the beers (he even ended up buying a growler of one of the brews he tasted) and I enjoyed the cider. They also pour chateau elan wines as the majority of their offering which is nice- keeping it local! Since it was wing Wednesday my husband had a dozen wings glazed in a teriyaki garlic type sauce. I ordered the pretzels with beer cheese as an appetizer (SO yummy, but kind of expensive for what it is) and then the fish and chips as my entree. He loved his wings- my fish and chips were okay. A decent portion of fish and housemade chips, but all of it was overdone like they had the heat setting on the fryer turned up too high. Overall I think our tab for a 4 beer flight, one pint, one hard cider, pretzels, wings and the fish & chips was over $60 plus tip. All things being equal I can say we will definitely be back to hang out and probably will try some of their other menu items like the burgers next time! read more

So I came here one night after one of the cornhole tournament game just to drink a beer or two. Well I drank one of their specialty (Government Shutdown) and I have to say, I was instantly hooked! Now be careful it's a stout little bugger and it will creep up on you and get you a little tipsy. Better call you a ride-share or have a DD after having a couple of those. Anyway you want to hear about the food too. So I wasn't going to eat but I was told by one of the bartenders I needed to try something so of course I said sure. I ordered the fish and chips and I'm glad I did. It was really really good for bar food. I was surprised at the nice crunch of the outside of the fish and their fries are pretty dang good too. So if you come here, try the beers obviously but don't forget the food, it will leaving pleasantly surprised. Oh and of course I'm going back! read more

Finally got to try this place! My husband opted for this for his Father's Day lunch. We love that they brew their own beers and they seem quite creative. He tried one of the Port brews, and it had a taste of chocolate. I tried the Rose and it was good, as well. Both were strong. Now for the food: We shared some fried green tomatoes. Unfortunately those were lacking seasoning and were overcooked. They come with pimento cheese, which was an interested twist, but I have to admit that I prefer an aioli. My husband had a couple slaw dogs and said they were great. He's picky about his slaw, too! The hot dogs were huge. I had just a salad since we had the fried green tomatoes, but it was a good portion. Worth trying again - Just not the place I'll go to for fried green tomatoes. read more

Very cool design and atmosphere. We were interested in trying out the new place on a rainy Sunday afternoon. First and foremost, I think they need to keep working on their brews. They only had 3 of their own, and I tried them all. They were "fair" at best. I'm sure either at small batch they were good, or the owners were not as concerned with good taste vs. having a brewery in Braselton. Not sure they've figured out the scalability just yet. I decided to go somewhere else rather than order another beer here. So I'll say they have some potential! I'll come back if a friend wants to try it and I'll just order one beer to see if it's improved any. But I love the idea, so I wish them the best of luck. Third visit to what should be a great place. It has the potential but it seems like the staff has given up as well as any management or leadership. Food was not appetizing or tasty at all. Thought I'd be safe ordering fries and fried shrimp, however the oil had to be really old given the greasy texture and dark brown appearance. The cocktail sauce came in a covered plastic cup and was the consistency of a Jell-O shot! The waitress explained that is what it is supposed to be because they make all the sauces "in house" and the manager/chef is specially trained!! The beer cheese that came with Philly cheesesteak was a broken sauce , with a texture of grits! Again we were told that was an in house creation, and waitress stated she had never heard any complaints about it, and went on to say people either like it or not. When a burger was ordered, we were told you could only get WELL DONE! Because it was trivia night and they were busy-which they were not. Trivia did not start for at least 40 minutes. No full tables, no lines. The waitress was pleasant, but I feel like she is set up to make excuses for poor food quality. We will not be back, unless it enters a new management status. It's a great location and concept with a nice fenced outdoor space with room for kids to roam. read more

I'm not from this area, but we wanted to try something as we were on the way to Tanger Outlets. Came on a Sunday around lunch time, and we were seated right away. There was only one other table occupied, but after awhile, the place filled up. Our hostess and waitress wore their masks. We wore our masks inside and took it off after we ordered. I don't think they require it though bc we saw some people without it. All the food we ordered was great. I had the chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders came out piping hot with their remoulade sauce on the side. The sauce is good!! The fries are pretty unique too, crispy on the outside and very potato-y on the inside. I tried their wings, and they were very good! We requested the wings to be fried extra crispy. The Buffalo wings are not the kind that are drenched in sauce. It's very lightly sauce. The lemon pepper was great too. The wings are pretty large. Service was super friendly, and food came out really fast. I get really excited about places that have good sweet tea, and this place is one of them! I'll definitely be back if I'm ever heading this way again. read more

I can't quite put my finger on it, but I don't believe this was my first time visiting Braselton. However, on my second go around, I was able to visit the newly installed city hangout spot known as Braselton Brewing Company. This new craft beer joint has seemed to add a lot of excitement to the small populated town, and I'm glad to say that I enjoyed my first experience there! Once I stepped inside the brew house, I knew that I was amongst professionals who also really enjoy drinking craft beer. Most of the staff did seem rather young, but they will surely take good care of you. My bartender Josh was great in helping me select the perfect beer to fill up in a crowler and take back with me to Charlotte! Braselton Brewing Company is exactly the type of spot you'd want to meet up with your friends at! It's great for not only trying out some new local brews, but it's also wonderful for mingling, socializing and hanging out. There are multiple different seating areas available for your choosing! There's also a dedicated kitchen in the back with a staff full of folks eager to feed you! You can't go wrong visiting BBC! read more

We went around 7pm on a Friday night, had a short wait which was to be expected. Two of our table of four ordered burgers and asked how they would be cooked (medium, medium well?) but the server indicated she did not know but they are all cooked the same way. These burgers were thin (pre-formed) and cooked such that they were nearly impossible to chew. I ordered a bowl of chili and it arrived barely warm with a chilled side of sour cream so I asked if the chili could be warmed. When the server inquired if everything was okay, we indicated that the hamburger could not be chewed. We also asked if the manager would take the burgers off of the bill, and he replied, "I'll see what I can do". No apologies! To top off our extremely sub par service and food, the chair in which I was sitting was broken and tore my dress when I stood up to leave. We will not return! Having owned business, we realize the importance of quality and how warranted negative experiences can hurt a business. Especially in these economic times, this place would do well to implement some much need changes! Needless to say, we will NOT return. read more

Today, however, upon entering and telling the host our party size (6 adults and 10 kids-- all planning to eat and eat from the adult menu) he immediately said no and wouldn't seat us. Service was good so far as greeter's and waitresses. The food could be a lot better. We order 2 American burgers with fries. The burger was average not to say that would be different than any other. But the sweet potato fries were on the Lukewarm and limp side. They were not fresh or at least cooked out a freeze bag. I mean come on. Also was the most turn off of the restaurant were the dozen of flys inside the restaurant when you are trying to eat. We weren't outside eating but inside. that's not good when you are trying to eat your meal and as you are taking a bit here and there when here comes another group flys while you are eating and swatting the flys away. It was our first time coming to this brewery, we had the absolute best experience! It's hard finding a baby friendly and pandemic safe place these days, but the Braselton Brewery not only has lot of outdoor seating options, but it's a great family atmosphere and even dog friendly! The staff was super friendly and the beer is really delicious. I recommend getting a flight to try a little bit of everything, as they have some pretty unique beers you won't find somewhere else. Also, best fried prickles (in fry shape) I have ever had! We will be coming back for sure! read more

WORST SERVICE EVER. I was having an amazing time exploring Downtown Braselton with my beautiful big family. My Aunt and Uncle that live here had mentioned this is the best brewery they have ever been to. So we all went in so excited ready to drink some good beer and good food. However, the workers had other plans for us in mind. We were declined service from the moment we walked in. Every worker and customer stared us down and we immediately felt unwelcome. All but one woman worker. They gave us the excuse it was because of the lack of servers. Mind you, they looked liked they had plenty of staff on hand as we saw 3-4 workers standing around and staring at us. I want to point out we were a party of 6 adults and 6 teens. We could have been split into two separate tables if the problem was they couldn't serve more than 10 people at a time. No, the fact of the matter is they were NOT trying to accommodate my Hispanic family. They did not want to make it work. They didn't even have a full restaurant. One older man worker with a long beard didn't even have the decency to look my Aunt in the eye when she tried reasoning with him. Please do not support a discriminatory business like this. It's 2021, grow up already. This is just as embarrassing for the business if not MORE than us having to experience it. read more

Didn't visit the actual restaurant/brewery. Got a beer at the artisan festival on Saturday, 4/23/22 My spouse and I wanted a cold beer to spilt and we don't normally go for any craft type beer. But we decided to give this booth a try. We got the strawberry something or other beer. The beer itself was ok. It had a red color to it. The bad part was the staff working the booth. We ordered our one beer and the lady working the payment/order section of the booth decided to talk over me, and continue a conversation with other staff and someone that walked up. Didn't say one word to us. It's just rude and seriously unprofessional. If you are promoting your business at a festival, please be friendly and not over speak customers. Went here with my family to have dinner at 430 on a Sunday for my brother's birthday. We sat down and they took our drink and appetizer order. They then have someone else come up and tell us they can't help us because we had too many people in our party. There were 15 of us. There were 4 people at the bar and other than that the place was empty but they told us to leave and find somewhere else to eat. The staff was rude. Will NEVER go back. Somebody call John Taffer and Bar Rescue quick!! This is such a cool place but is being run horribly! First of all, they don't have servers, they have food runners. You have to stand in the line and order your food and drinks. And this line is RIGHT AT THE FRONT DOOR! It is a complete log jam of people trying to come in, others trying to get out, and all the people waiting in line trying to order! And when they do finally bring the food it comes only one piece at a time. They are in a hurry to clear your plates because they don't have enough plates and they need yours for someone else! Oh, they also ran out of utensils. The last one actually had to metal and one plastic utensil. So the drink you had to pick up at the bar is long finished before any of the food comes. So you want another drink? Guess what. You have to leave your party and get back in that line to order another drink then of course wait for the bartender to finally make it. Everytime I've been there they were out of the majority of the beers. Despite all that, it's a beautiful place that is dog friendly! So I was serious when I was begging for John Taffer and Bar Rescue to come save this place from themselves!!! read more

Had to go to bar and then my wife and I were told that we couldn't use the silverware by the bartender because it was only for the bar guests. Bus boy finally gave us silverware. Bill was never given and server came with a tablet and told us our total. Then flashed a screen with tip amts. of 20%, 25% or 30%. Torture trying to figure out how to get the screen to do a custom tip. Finally received bill and a convenience fee of $1.50 added, as well as tip which had added on the convenience fee and tax before calculating tip. Deception leads to poor reviews! We were hungry for alcohol and took our chances here at this sexy fine establishment. We entered the establishment hangry for any drops of beer to wet our scorched dry tongues. The atmosphere was lively and we were greeted like warriors slaying beasts to keep the peace. Grown men with beards greeted us with joy and laughter. The selection from the menu was just under "really expensive" which made deciding what to order so EZ-PZ. I yelled to the bartender, "kill the fatest cattle, for I will feast on a cheesesteak tonight and be merry, and pour me your finest water!" It wasn't long for the food and water to come out. I washed my hands in the glass and ordered a mighty fine brew to chase down my near expensive but mediocre cheesesteak. But we didn't come to experience mediocre food, no we came for the brew! The brew was king, and it satisfied our deepest desires, made me feel good. So if you're into mediocre food and good beer, then go experience it here at Braselton Brewery. read more

Wanted some good bar food, below average, sub par food. stick to appetizers they are pretty solid. Beer is decent it should be for a brewery. Fish is over battered, hamburgers are processed not patties. Good place to hang out for a beer and eat a few appetizers. Its not good for a complete meal, overpriced fried........ Very unique experience for our area. We grew up in the cotton fields in South Georgia and our families are in the ginning business and farmers. My father was a brew master for Pabst Blue Ribbon. The transformation from gin to Brewery that also serves food was nicely done. A very versatile venue with an industrial style. Outdoor seating that is dog friendly and indoor seating that can be open, when weather permits. The food menu is just right so that you can focus on the craft beers. Bar/comfort foods, but there is something for everyone. Wines from Georgia vines are also available. The style of service is a bit different than your normal, sit down, view menu and order from waiter. You order from the bar and pay as you go. This is the new trend of service. We will see more of these opportunities near us. We had no problems with the new style. The staff was amazing and taught us a lot. They were clearly very educated on what they were serving. read more

After my granddaughter's pinning ceremony she wanted everyone to eat at this restaurant. The manager refused our party. We had two groups, eight in each group. He said he could seat eight now and then the other eight two hours later. There were plenty of empty tables but the manager said he had a rule against more then one party of eight and could not accommodate us. I would never recommend this establishment. Not the best evening at Braselton Brewery. Regret going and inviting friends to meet me there. We went for Music Bingo thinking it would be a nice evening with dinner and drinks but music bingo is so fast paced it was not enjoyable. 20 seconds of a song then on to the next, no time to eat, drink, talk if you're also trying to play the game. Played at other places like Gringos in Jefferson and Moonshiners in Braselton and found it enjoyable...so it wasn't the concept but the MC. From the moment we walked in female employee with long grey hair was rude and snippy, talks over you when you ask a question so she didn't know what she was answering...acts like she serves drunks or toddlers with her shockingly scolding tone. We would've left after five minutes if we hadn't invited a group to meet us. All parties had a rude encounter with the same woman throughout the evening, our waitress seemed miserable...not sure what that was about. Won't be back anytime soon and won't plan events here in the future. Really need to get it together or find a business/profession you enjoy. Really, it was very bad tonight and it was a Wednesday. Food tasted good and our table won two rounds of bingo but service was super strange and frustrating, won't be back. read more
