Thursday evening around 7:00 PM and I decided to gran a burger here. I order a plain jane and fries. My ticket is marked 7:02 I sit down and watch as the crew working there seem to be struggling. Are they busy? A little but cmon its burgers and fries. I could get back there and crank them out in minutes. Instead I see them stacking orders up and preparing them one at a time. At 7:20 I hear them call order number 82. At 7:30 its order number 86 thats called. The people holding tickets 83,84,85 come to the cash register to ask. They have been waiting a long time and request refunds. I continue to watch in horror as orders come in, but older orders are being refunded. Its a circus at best. By 7:53 I was bored and hungry. I went to the cash register to check on my order as they called 94 and 96 (both came in after me). The cashier nicely informed me they were busy, I asked how much longer its been nearly an hour. She scrambled around came back and stated she didn't know where my order was. This show is worth seeing but eat something before you go. read more

The burgers are usually very good but they have been getting worse. The fries used to be way better. Now they taste like salted chalk. The customer service here is AWFUL. When you walk in they stare at you like they are very bothered that you are there. ZERO greeting. No smiles on their face. And god forbid you say your order is for dine in. They really hate that. It says they are open until 9 but we have walked in at 845 ( I know it's right before close but the kids HAD to have it) they refused us service. Said they already shut the grill down. This place has very good potential but management on down is 100% The problem. It might even be ownership. But something needs to change. Especially for the prices they charge. read more

We were craving a burger and checked out this local spot during lunch time. We easily were able to find a table and put our orders in. I ordered the Jelly burger with fries and my husband ordered the Hollywood burger. Overall, the burgers were good. The only issues we had were that we asked for no mushrooms on my burger and no onions on my husbands. Although those requests were on the receipt, the burgers still included them. They also forgot my fries, so when my husband let them know they grabbed fries that had been sitting out instead of just making us some fresh ones. read more

The hamburger was good, the French fries had way too much salt and I could not eat them. The service is poor. They can't take your order correctly and charge more than you ask for. So we went to the Waxahachie location. I ordered squishy belly (can't remember the real name of it but it had belly in it) , 4.95 fried green beans, & a peach pie. I ordered it w/o the bun & they brought it w/the bun. The burger was good I could only eat 1/2 so for a 7.00 burger it was fulfilling. It just didn't come out the way I asked. (Next time I will ask for jalapeños also because for me, it needed a kick for perfection. The green beans were huge (the amount you get), came w/homemade ranch, but should get an extra one for that amount. For me they were more breaded than need to be. I couldn't taste the green bean at all, just fried batter & ranch. Because of that reason my best friend Patti ate more of them then me. Now this pie!! 1) it's the size of my palm. For me it was perfect size. (Big dessert people like Patti & my dad would say it was to small) 2) This pie is perfection. Came out warm. The peach filling isn't so sweet that you want more. The pie crust was thin & fried to perfection. Dusted w/powered sugar! Excellent! Patti got a burger (don't remember the name but it's the most popular specialty burger) a side of onion rings w/ranch (of course) and a peach pie. She said her burger was great! Patti doesn't get excited about burgers, but she said she would eat this one again! To her they failed at the onion rings. Remember she likes more batter than the actual food, so to her my green beans were good. To me here onion rings were good but I wouldn't come all the way to Waxahachie for them. After the noises I was making while eating the pie she couldn't wait to attack hers. She was so full though she could only eat one bite. She said that was the best peach pie she had ever had. Essentially run by local burnouts, who play too much grabass behind the counter and at the grill to get anything done in a timely manner. Maybe if you know one of them, you might get your food. But for the most part it's a cluster of incompetence and I don't think anyone that works there cares. It's the worst. read more

This is a great little burger joint in a great shopping center. Super fresh ingredients, friendly staff, quick service! The food is excellent! Burgers are juicy and packed with flavor, fries are seasoned well and crispy. The Hollywood burger is my favorite. Grilled jalapeños and onions give a kick and lots of flavor, while the bacon and pepper jack cheese add another punch of flavor! It's excellent. I am leaving 2 stars because the food is great....but everything else has a lot to be desired. Every time I have come here none of the tables are ever clean. Every condiment on the table (if there are any) are either empty, almost empty, or just plain super sticky from never have been wiped off. Frankly, it's disgusting. Not only are those sticky, but so is everything you come in contact with...the floor, the seats, the tables, the trays they serve the food on , the bathrooms! And consider yourself lucky if you happen to get paper towels at your table to deal with all the stickiness. I know it can get very busy, but half the time I walk in, it's a multitude of very unhappy looking employees who don't even smile to greet you, just leaning around talking and not taking care of other things...like all the stickiness! And please don't even bother with the patio. It's beyond filthy. Full trash cans just left next to the tables, gross, who knows how old kitchen floor mats hanging up with trash all over the place. This place is better dealt with as a to go place because the inside is just scary gross. read more

Great burger joint in Midlothian. I'm rarely in this neck of the woods but had heard many good things about this place over the years. If you have a chance do stop and eat here. Foodi burgers, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, Blue Bell ice cream, fried pies, floats, shakes and can/bottle beer. Nicely done inside and patio. I had the Hollywood burger and fries. Hot, moist and delicious in all the right ways. Nice bun and fries as well. Honestly one of the better burgers I've had. Hot off the grill and made to order. Draft beer would get you a 5 star but I see it's not necessary as this location doesn't seem to be a "bar" type place. Although they do have several TVs for sports. This is my favorite burger place! Everything is so authentic, and has cute small town touches to the environment. Everything is delicious here, the burgers, the chicken sandwiches, the tenders, fries and onion rings!! My mouth is watering as I'm writing this. Every now and then I ask for my fries or onion rings well done (crispy) and they are so good! The bread on the burger has the logo it's so inviting! We waited 45 mins for 2 burgers and a order of chicken strips . They told us they were out of fries and the next customer that ordered right after us was offered fries . Our chicken tenders was suppose to come with fries and nothing was given . Lots of upset customers and no communication . I get orders are made to order but COMMUNICATE ! read more

UPDATE: I took my five-star rating down to a two star for two issues: the burgers have not been the caliber as our first visit. More disappointingly is how they handle business. On the door is a sign indicating 'Discount when paying cash'. There's no discount; they're just not up charging the fee their credit card company charges them. It's false advertising! The price on the menu should be the price, and if you are going to charge more for credit card purchases, then indicate on the menu! We stopped in unplanned one Saturday late afternoon. Both of our burgers were cooked to perfection. The fries were flavorful and not too salty. We finished with a Blue Bell shake...almost too thick to enjoy. I've been in California for a year and was home for a visit. First thing I ate back on Texas soil. OH MY that was really good. Temp on burger was PERFECT! If you understand what med rare means you've already won me over. A really good grind on this meat and more than generous portion under the bun. Then I walked around the corner. I said " we're in the wrong side of the building". There's a cool bar with a video game and prize games.
